Dai the fang Qyp Cleric Saphire I'm confused.. Quote: Sleight of Hand (Dex): This skill measures the nimbleness of your fingers and your ability to take items off people without them noticing. The DC for each item will be based on the size of them item you are attempting to steal. This skill also measures your ability to conceal things (eg. weapons) upon your person. Formula: 1d20 + Sleight of Hand skill points + Dexterity modifier - Item Size modifier Vs Victim’s Awareness check. Item Size modifier: Small: -4 Medium: +4 Large: ... So if it's - Item Size mod, then it's -(-4) isn't it? o.o Unless I'm mistaken? Sorry, I'm not used to this stuff so I'll probably make lots of mistakes, you'll have to point them out to me haha. o.o Oh... huh... weird... I right I get it... small would be easier... I get what you have done now. It's easier to just put that into your post so people know what you used XD *raises hand* why would she need to make a sleight of hand check when she doesn't care if shes stealthy or not. i mean if gid was okay with it he could just say in his next post that he left one on the ground or even handed it to her. *shrugs* i just don't understand the need for that check. which is why i'm asking ^.^ Because of the way she did it... she didn't ask first... she took first...

I was actually thinking along the same lines as you Dai, so that was what confused me at first, although I guess it does make sense now. Thank you for asking and clearing that up for me as well! xD On another note, I wonder. Do you all keep track of the number of kunai and senbon you all keep? Because if that's the case then I'm in so much trouble with my teammate xD Where do you 'get' these weapons anyway? o.o

no worries Cleric ^.^ And mizuiro was using a string on his kunai which is why he only used one and was still able to keep it lol but you are supposed to keep track of how many kunai or senbon you use. Like if you throw five and you only have 10 then you have 5 remaining but i am curious about if you need to use an awareness check to find them if you use them in battle and want them back... but then again i suppose if you're doing missions you can just buy more... or you could work for the weapon shop and get some as a bonus possibly.

Yeah, so there is no point in Mizuiro counting how many is used.
And yeah, there is a search/find check.
EDIT: Look for/spot object: 10-30
10 = default.
and I dunno why its 10 to 30 though... I guess it depends... I would say if you already knew general direction... It would be 10. If it went in a river Maybe 15-20. If it went into the ocean... 30.

*highfives* lol qyp! Yes! beautiful! lol i kept only thinking about using that as like finding herbs and bugs but looking back at the shoreline it would be awareness for bugs and survival for plants v.v i'm an idiot... Edit: Hmmm looking over the skills and dc guide it looks like survival could be used to find bugs and animals too. "Hunt/forage: 12" v.v I have a long way to go before understanding this system better.

Well thank you for your insight ^.^ Truly it was very helpful *salutes* now off to do some odd random training while i wait for my chakra to refill. Maybe i'll have him train some of his stats in the grove too since it's apart from the village and it says it can be used to train on whatever.
