Chibi Kawaii-chan Hey guys, I have a SSBM related question. Do you find that you can only ever play with your own controller? My own controller feels very "soft", especially the jump buttons, and I find it so much easier to play with. Playing with another controller makes me megafail.
I can't play without my Wavebird anymore. Normal GC controllers seem weird.

All of my friends' controllers are similar enough to mine that I don't really have a problem switching controllers.

Did they? Damn, I thought I was going to be able to kill people in the air. I could in Melee, but slower fall = bigger target.
Technically Spiked shell = Bigger target but that might just be common sense. @Gonbe- Yeah I can only use my Controller for whatever the reason, I dunno maybe the superstition has something to do with it... Maybe it is because Change is scary.

I find everyone else's controllers very stiff. I just can't do it. To short hop I press quite lightly, but everyone else's buttons are so stiff I have to press harder than normal. And then I overcompensate and end up shooting up into the air. It drives me nuts!

@Chibi Not really, but i get what your saying. your use to the texture and feeling of your remote and having something else like a Controller with a hard Joy Stick would mess you up. Some people are accustomed to their remotes since they use it alot i guess.

Yes... my joystick was nice and flexible, too. I guess I was the only one who worked the hell out of it, out of my siblings.
I can't find my controller. crying
It was bright orange, with a bit of tape on the top to differentiate it between my sister's bright orange one.

Less Flinching = Better Koopa overlord The new Side B seems to be great as well. And have you seen Golden Bowser?

They say he's a lot better in Brawl, but I wouldn't call him pathetic in Melee. He has a few cool tricks.
