A dry smile danced across Abel's face. He said nothing as well. Sometimes silence was the best thing someone could say.((writers block))

Maxim was old enough now He padded downstairs and looked for shadow finally finding him he nosed his hand then waited until he was off the phone but what he had to say "Shadow momas doing it again...its the third time a month shes forgotten to feed...If I ever find my father im going to tear him apart." he snarled

Shadow looked down to the little one. He admired the kids guts but knew he had a long way to go before then. "I'll go and talk to your mother ok. We do have an understanding. You go and get a servant to bring you something ok." Shadow said with a forced smile. This reality was turning into his nightmare and there was little Shadow could do to help anyone anymore. All he had left right now was Malice, if he couldn't help her, Shadow would be lost only wishing to dream. Shadow stood and walked to Malice's room. He let himself in and closed the door behind him. He figured Malice would still be here.

A woman's body could be seen floating in the lake, her long orange hair streaming around her lifeless frame. The wind was steadily pushing the waves toward the shore, where she would no doubt end up. Sure enough her body drifted up onto shore, the waves still lapping against her body, coaxing her into consciousness. Her fingers twitched first and then her back arched up as she began vomitting water. If one was looking at her, one could not miss the two strange identical scars just inside her shoulder blades.

Shadow had stood in Malice's room for a long time now. He watched her sleep and wondered if Malice would change again due to her lack of feeding. In the end he had convinced himself that Malice would be sleeping for a while yet. He left her room and walked back to the dinning room. he done as he always did, he sat in his chair and lit a cig up while a servant brought him a glass of blood. Nothing seemed right anymore, everything just seemed to routine for Shadow. No matter how Shadow looked at the events, it just felt like a dream to him. A strange nightmare that he kept expecting to wake up from in the tomb were he origonaly went to sleep but he never did wake up there, back in his tomb. With a heavy sigh Shadow kept telling himself that this was reality, maybe this was his minds way of dealing with everything that has been happening. Creating a faulse comfort. Shadow leaned into the back of his chair and smoked at his cig, trying to keep his head stright.

The woman collapsed back onto the sandy shore and began breathing normally again. "My name....my name is Lydia.....yes its Lydia Turunen." she thought suddenly as her emerald green eyes opened and looked about their strange surroundings. "Where....am i?" she asked aloud as she struggled to her feet and began walking around. Finding a path leading away from the lake she pushed through the brambles and fallen trees to a large yellow wheat field. "How beautiful...." she smiled softly as she walked through it, her hands out to her sides as the grain brushed against her palms.

Shadow drank his blood and finished his cig. He left the dinning room through the back door before a servant could even consider bringing him another glass. Shadow walked out into the gardens and along the edge of the forest. He couldn't be still right now and he didn't understand why. Nothing was going his way right now.

She made her way through the field and entered another forest, this one was much small however. She came to yet another clearing this one with a large willow tree in front of a large stately manor. She felt a strange attraction to the willow tree as she edged closer to it, its calm nature pulling her towards it. "Hello there...." she smiled as the green tendrils brushed against her face.

Shadow's eyes were fixed on the ground as he walked along the edge of the forest. His mind was drifting all over the place, from one situation to another and another and another. He couldn't keep it in one place or on one subject. Nothing made sense in his chaotic mind right now. Everyone around him had strangly disapeared, not even Vickilyn seemed to be walking the halls right now. "Am I still dreaming?" he asked himself as he continued to walk.

Malice opened her eyes after a few days of sleeping it was the only escape she had from her loneliness and even in her dreams she could feel her heart crying. Now she lay in bed to weak to move and ravenous but still her heart ached to much for her to concentrate on feeding

Maxim Had just finished a raw steak when he ran outside and spotted Shadow "Oh, Hey uncle shadow...You look upset...anything I can help with?" He said as he trotted along in his full animal form

I woke in my room, still a bit dizzy from a few days earlier, but I figured I'd need to make an appearance sometime. So I showered in a hurry and threw on a pair of jeans with a t shirt, then a pair of boots since I figured I'd go out riding later and find Shadow

"Nothing can be done for me little Maxim. I am more worried about your mother. She and I have similar problems. Speaking of your mother I think I should go and chek up on her. I am rather concerned about her health. What do you think little Maxim?" he said as he walked along the edge of the forest, back towards the mansion. Shadow never knew that his troubled mind was so readable from his body. He still didn't want to admit to anyone that he was in a bad state right now.

Malice sighed and tried to sit up but she was to weak she simply lay there in self loathing. She wondered where shadow was and smiled lightly.
