My nintendog is becoming obedient! He actually does the 3 tricks he knows on command now. He's becoming a fine little husky.

Who? question Iolanthe something? She makes the most ridiculous arguments and completely ignores anything that doesn't work with her ideas. It's becoming frustrating. And should you ever manage to argue her into a corner, she suddenly declares the point of the argument to have been some random tangental issue she might have referred to vaguely in one of her earlier posts... Then declares victory. I was pretty sure that was her. I just find it rich that she can actually claim, with a straight face, that any visual medium -- be it acted out on film, on stage, or via animation -- is incapable of deeper meaning becuase you can see the action. Even going so far to say that Shakespeare's works have no deeper meaning when performed on stage, only when you have a text copy in your hand. Perhaps I'm missing out on something since I didn't take college literature courses, but that strikes me as incredibly stupid.

That Iolanthe chick scares me a bit. She's just sort of egotistical. I remember she had a loyal fanbase in the Anti-Nubkin guild though, so hey, to each one's own.
Though I'd think that Shakespeare would pwn even more on stage (as long as the actors aren't incompetent sixth-graders), since that was what it was written for.
