Okay. So I haven't decided on my 3rd character for the other tournament (this one doesn't matter really. It's kind of a random-pick-whatever- tournament.) I have Ice Climbers, Captain Falcon, but I need another character. Note: I'm choosing these characters to get better with them. The third one, I don't care. Suggestions?

Fox is Noob friendly and vicious in the hands of experienced players (not that your a noob, just saying what I know) but Fox has a side effect, if you play as him people around you lose respect for you.

Marth is pretty effective against Fox. He can chain throw him into the 50s, and his sword has a disjointed hitbox to deal with Fox and his low range melee attacks.

Fox and Roy are both N00b characters due to the spam. Roy's Up+B is really the only thing he has.
Try:
Link is a favorite. Powerful Medium character.
Kirby is fun to use.
Samus is the same as Link.

Did they? Damn, I thought I was going to be able to kill people in the air. I could in Melee, but slower fall = bigger target.

Hey guys, I have a SSBM related question. Do you find that you can only ever play with your own controller? My own controller feels very "soft", especially the jump buttons, and I find it so much easier to play with. Playing with another controller makes me megafail.
