Does anyone know what it means when you show that you have hepatitis B antibodies in your body BUT not the virus? Red Cross sent me papers saying that...but that I'm negative for the virus. I got the vaccinations for hepatitis B way back in middle school AND I never had it in my entire life. AND another thing is that this is the second time I've donated blood and they sent the papers about the antibodies in my blood for the second donation.
I'm going in tomorrow to have tests rerun...but meh. I just hope I'm not a carrier and I'm just hoping I was exposed to the virus sometime in the past few months or something. UGH.
I'm falling apart. Like, I already have weak ankles, especially my right one. I have to wear a brace quite often...but it's just an ace bandage one. Nothing like...industrial. My knee is starting to go too. NOW the issue is my left wrist/arm. I've had a pain in it the past few weeks and today I picked up a pretty good brace because I figure I don't want whatever it is to get worse especially with what I do at work (lifting people and such).
I'm a mess. surprised

Sucks to hear about your poor health. I have weak ankles, too. I don't need a brace, but I keep twisting/spraining then more often than not.

I'm quitting my at the beginning of next month so that I can focus more on my school work until finals. Then winter break will be busy. I might go snowboarding with my lady and her family and go up to norcal with her. Just me and her! That would be so awesome. Road trip fun! 4laugh

That's probably why, then. "Way back in middle school" is not that long ago. And when you got vaccinated, you built up antibodies against Hep B. All it means to me is that you got vaccinated, and the Red Cross is being stupid about it. And, besides, you mentioned your girlfriend was clean. Unless you've done intravenous drugs or gotten a blood transfusion, there's almost no chance of you having hepatitis B. Unless you had an accident at work.

So there I was buying my first lottery scratch-off ticket today at the local convenience store. I'm not the type of person to constantly throw away money on lottery tickets, but everyone on my dad's side of the family is crazy about them.
So, I bought one, single $2 ticket.
I won $200 on my first try. gonk
Must. Buy. More. Tickets.

Ugh.
So, I know I've been gone for a while. I mostly blame this on the fact that I have been without internet for the past week+, but life has really come and hit me in the face this week.
To make a long story really freaking short, one of our good friends of the family died this past week, and it's been really rough. Everything's starting to not be in place anymore up here and I just want to curl up in a ball and die for a while.
I still probably won't be around for another week or so, but I just wanted to say I'm not dead and hope you didn't forget about me ^^. If you really want to say hi, the best way will be to reach me by e-mail: quixoticemokid@gmail.com for the next week. Then I'll be around again.,
<3 I love you guys and wish I could be around right now, but things just flat out SUCK right now. -hug-

But the thing is that the shot doesn't affect that. It said that in the paper so you shouldn't have a buildup of the antibodies. It's just odd. Like, my mom called the doctor and he was concerned about it too. So yeah, I'm having the tests rerun.
