One of my semesters in high school, my Finance teacher got jury duty, so he was gone for the whole semester and we got stuck with a substitute teacher; she rocked.
So, Si, did you get picked for jury duty yet or have you not gone to the "jury picking" session yet?

Do you get paid for being a juror? I wouldn't mind being a juror my whole life I don't think.

I believe she does, but you only get paid so much, so a lot of those selected who DON'T live in the area will come up with any possible excuse to get out of it.
Someone was told to be part of the jury where I live, but expected to travel 2 hours one way to attend the court date(s); and that's if she was picked for that day. The pay they would give her wouldn't cover gas, and the time it took to get there wasn't at all reasonable.

Naw..I have to look at the days My number area is shown and call a day ahead to see if I need to go D< which stinks cause It covers tuesdays which I work. And yes. Minimum wage. I live in the town of it so I don't mind the driving. @ w @ extra monies for my pretty hair....Costs a bit to maintain...totally worth it D: -brushes Silky hair-

I guess kinda silky. I don't let it out of the braid much unless it is to wash it. Then it goes right back into it's braid.

My hair's too short to do anything with it, I can't stand having long hair anymore D: I use to when I was little till...7th grade. Then chopped it off,dyed it purple and that started my short/Colored hair Life. D: Never purple again though. Maybe Blue next. :I

Maybe Blue next. :I At one point in my young life, I would not allow anyone near me with scissors. Thanks to that. My hair is to my a**.

Sounds like me in the fourth grade. Even when I got lice, I bitched and screamed at my parents, and my grandmother who had come over to cut my hair.
I still don't like short hair that much, but I don't think I'd ever grow mine down to my a**.

The first time I cut my hair, short-wise, was in the 4th grade. I loved it; it was up to my shoulders. And everyone bitched at me 'cause it was short. :/
I kept cutting it short until I moved to the states, when the "long-layered" haircuts were in, and I've had long layers ever since. biggrin

Unrelated: There was a Wicked bad Accident here. :I People were dead on the road..Mum wouldn't let any of us see. (I wouldn't have anyway. Something about seeing dead people Feels wrong in my soul.) So we had heard about it from Nyu's sister who heard about it from char who heard about it from the hotel costumers. And when we got home she kept asking how bad it was and asked me to Take pictures. That made me horribly mad because I had told her Lives were lost and she still insisted and asked how bad it is. So I got angry and said "Fabulous. We had tea with dead people." She didn't catch on, So I said "People died. How do you think it is?!" Still didn't so I said "It was F**king bad Now let me sleep." >:C
Related: I'm planning to dye my hair Red melting into orange,melting into yellow with my normal black underneath. D: I think it'd look awesome.
