Streamjumper I think it is funny that people think Greed from FMA could easily slaughter Starfire from Teen Titans. I'm aware of his abilities, but death is not a stipulated victory term for the fight, and Star is capable of personally tossing him into orbit. He also lacks the strength to kill her outright. Vs. topics are always full of biased opinions and flawed logic. You should be well aware of this. neutral

Atemu Streamjumper Skizzors Zero Omega Malaryush Oh my gosh. xd I just saw the Suyo-Tetris screencap from one of the AG chats in Zero's sig. That made me laugh. That always makes me laugh. I figure Suyo always has to be aware of his flaw. xd At least it's not Pong.. We should ask him if he knows how to play Pong... just in case. I think it is funny that people think Greed from FMA could easily slaughter Starfire from Teen Titans. I'm aware of his abilities, but death is not a stipulated victory term for the fight, and Star is capable of personally tossing him into orbit. He also lacks the strength to kill her outright. Which Starfire? x3; Well, both would give Greed a whole damn lot of chances... But if you piss the comicbook one enough... Edit: ^-- This is my personal opinion on the DC comics one, she just scares me. Greed has no real chance. She was shown casually lifting Cyborg while he was working out... he was lifting at least 100 tons. I believe she did it with one hand. This is more than enough physical force to shatter diamonds, which I believe is the level of protection he has (hyperdense carbon, it was described as). She has been smacked through buildings. She can fly at the speeds needed to fly between planets and survive full exposure to hard vacuum. She has damaged incredibly hard objects with her upgraded starfire bolts (harming the Chrysalis eater than Cyborg's punches couldn't do anything to).
Yes, I know she can't do any lasting damage to him, but she can negate anything he can do and even harm him through his shield.
I gave three different easy victories for her. 1> Burying him beneath several tons of earth. As I recall, only one of the Homonculi could transmute earth, and he lacks the strength needed to dig his way out.
2> Tossing him into orbit or over the horizion. By hurling him beyond his effective ability to continue the combat, she wins by effectively ejecting him from the fight.
3> Simply knocking him over and holding him down. If she has negated his ability to move, she wins by having captured him.
I didn't even look sideways at the comic book one, but told people that if they wanted to play silly buggers with me, I could delve into her abilities... I think her Starfire might be powerful enough at its most of effectively break down his atoms, which I hear is an effective way of dealing with him. After all, I believe it IS plasma.

She survived 3 whole marriages, one even being disrupted by an evil half-demon. *cough* Edit: And watching her planet blow up twice, and Komand'r, and being raped... and I could go on. Edit edit: Was it two? Phy'zzon whatever and Nightwing? ....Hm. Edit edit edit: Greed was killed by being dipped in acid in the manga.

Yeah, Kori is a total ******** badass... and still has it in her to be one of the kindest superheros out there. And if acid could do it, then plasma could... after all, plasma burns stuff by essentially stripping stuff on an atomic (or was it sub-atomic) level.

Is it worth going to an anime convention to look for an American comic book that probably won't be there and you're not old enough to buy?
'Cuz if not, I have better things to do with my Saturday.
