If you wanted to fight, they should have done it as part of the exams, instead of cutting off section 4 before anyone even had a chance to finish the objective. I'm not saying that I deserve to pass more than anyone who did, but I really don't find it fair to pass some and fail others when everyone was doing the same thing... walking around looking for clues.

And as for you Noir, I don't doubt your skills, but Metal removed others from the beginning for inactivity. Just because you are skilled shouldn't mean you don't get punished with the same repricusions as everyone else. stare
