Layton walked out onto the pitch and did his usual stretches before looking up into the sky. Even if they were most likely out of the running for the quidditch cup, he'd still give it his all, and do his best to not let Cathy or his team down.

Rhys wasn't really late. He was just annoyed. Mostly because he'd had to search for his broom and he almost tore his dorm apart looking for it. Now that he had it, it was just a matter of being at the pitch and trying to catch the snitch. He had shite for luck though. He ignored everyone and just settled in to wait for the game to start.

Bronwen stepped onto the pitch, already carrying her customary broom and box for the game, She looked over the teams assembled and nodded, thinking they were ready to start. This was the last match of the season, and although the players were definitely ready fot the season to be over, there was one match left. "Today's game is between Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. Eagles versus Badgers. I want a nice clean game between both teams. Let's get this party started!" She kicked open the box and mounted her broom, waiting for the snitch to vanish before grabbing up the quaffle. Flying upward, she tossed the ball up, starting the game officially.
