Whichever room is bigger (2 or 3, or 9), I'll take it. Luciano has not just his bed in his room but he also had a chaise at the foot of the bed, the floor was hard wood but there is this HUGE a** carpet square where a couch, coffee table, and then on the other side of the coffee table was another couch. Behind the first couch is the glass doors to the balcony. To the right of the balcony was Michelle's Vanity (it's actually still there. Luciano never bothered to move it). And then on the wall- ******** it. I'll drawr it later! XD I suck at explaining things.
Anyway, sorry for my lack of posting. I let some drama get in the way of it, BUT I'm back now and I'm ready to get back into posting! :3 Just tell me where you want me, OR we can collaborate and make a sexy master piece together. I'm sexy to work with, so you know it'll be good if we do collaborate! [Dances]

So as it stands: I have #11. Nari got #10. KD got #6 They're all supposed to be similar sizes when talking total square footage; I just suck at Paint-quality architecture. 2 and 9's subroom doors are spread out, while 3 and 10's are much closer together. You can modify placement of subrooms but not the overall size of the room. If you're not accounting for subroom size, then you're probably after 3. Otherwise I think 2 is pretty good 'cause Luc would then have a good view of the garden. Next (when I get home from class lol) I'll post a fill-in template for wall and floor designs (general ones, not 50bajillion rugs juuuust yet. Area rugs are allowed and the whole design should be shown. Maybe I'll make an alternative fill-in for that...) which you can take, style in MSPaint or an equivalent, then post back on the thread. Or you can describe it and I can try my hardest to recreate it lol. Not concerned with furniture placement, although I'll make a template for that too if there's a big enough demand. It'll probably go along with subroom placement. Questions for everyone else: - Do you want fill-ins for things or do you want to just describe them? If so, what kinds of room features? - How accurate do you think this map is? Any purpose for some of the rooms in the right wing? Notes: - The garage is staying where it is because it balances the layout of the building. - I forgot to add the roof stuff, so that will be put in the second version of the map. - I know that the upcoming fill-in templates are for each character's room. Should we apply a similar template to the other rooms in HQ? If yes, should we vote on a general idea via poll and then implement it or should people post their own fill-in submissions and we all vote on those?

Maerua - Koji needs sunlight so he can work on art while not depending on electricity (he comes off as a 'pro-green' type for some reason, although there's not much to back it up)
LOL! I had almost the exact thought process while looking at the layout.
I think I'll take room #8, please~
Also, the map is kick a**. I'm loving being able to see everything laid out like that, it adds so much detail and clarification to the rp and makes me happy.
...now I have to figure out what Koji's room actually looks like.
Also, I figure the un-used rooms should probably all look the same and allow for alterations depending on the members who come and go, or guests who are staying there.
I would imagine a basic armoire for clothing storage, a bed, and maybe an armchair and small table would be enough to suit any visitors needs. Sort of like a hotel room? Just a basic cream/beige carpet with matching walls and some dark/cherry wood molding..

Just blitzing through here before work...
I like Koji's idea about a basic empty room. We could have a rec room with pool table, darts, etc. if we don't already. A fireplace should be noted somewhere. Secret weapon room unknown to anyone aside from a few oldies perhaps (for potential vampire apocalypse in a month~). Sauna!
Idk what else to add.
Fill-in option for personal rooms would be cool, but I know that I wouldn't have time to play around with it. It'd be a word description for myself, though the actual visual is cool for those who have time. Tables, chairs, windows, beds, ceiling fans/lights, simple rugs and furniture based on user.
Map is great.

Secret weapon room unknown to anyone aside from a few oldies perhaps (for potential vampire apocalypse in a month~) Rec Room : Sounds like something for one of the unused ground floor rooms or the basement's main room :3 ...before you start questioning the placement of a rec room right next to an interrogation room, imagine how long it'd take to get info from someone you captured. You might as well enjoy a few games of pool just outside the room. Fireplace: Yeah, somewhere...depends on where the rec room is. Ground floor = in there, basement = fireplace goes somewhere else. Secret weapon room: We may already have that. :3 Planning something? @ all posts about furniture: That's for later and I'm kinda hoping it's just a description thing. I reaaally don't want to make templates for that too, but said that I'll only do it if everyone bothers me for it. The wall/floor stuff is the only other template afaik. Edit: Wall/floor/rug template is in the HQ Map thread. Use it if you have a wallpaper, tile, or area rug design that can't be easily described. Otherwise, I'd just stick with descriptions.

Rec room is now beside the interrogation room. xD Fireplace can be in the library? Secret weapon room is wherever you want. I was thinking we should have an all-out invasion. Special vampire squad would get word of our whereabouts, and we'd have to defend HQ. Nothing too fancy. Just a survival of the fittest and lots of injuries and angst and old hatred of vampires~ Description is good with me. Meh meh. I'll do it later. We should use the subforum with the rooms again with a main sticky thread for posts describing rooms. Your turn to post. emotion_donotwant Nari is waiting at your door.

Oh! I'm working on homework for my Digital Ink & Paint class.
Our assignment this week was to do a digital painting in 3 values. [20% gray, 50% gray, and 80% gray] The instructor said we can do a painting of whatever we want, just shapes, a face, an object. Just as long as it shows an understanding of lighting and shadows with a simple 3 value scale.
I chose to do a better drawing of Koji for the RP.
o3o I might be able to draw some of your characters for additional assignments! If anyone wants a portrait for the member file image in Skotti's Office, just let me know and I'll see if I can get away with doing them for my homework~
If any of you do want a portrait, it would be nice if you could find a face model for me to use when drawing them. For example, I used Bobby Hicks for Koji's face [x]. If I can get some kind of facial construction reference, it would make it easier, lol.

I got a face model in mind for Sabe, but unfortunately the photo has the shutterstock watermark over it. [link]The watermark covers most of the mouth and stuff but everything else on the face is for the most part intact. Is that fine? I'm working on removing the watermark in GIMP. In general though I'm not a huge fan of facecasting RL people on fictional characters.

Hm.. the watermark should be fine~
And I'm just using it as a reference for facial features like how high the brow line is, what type of nose shape, etc.
When I draw a face without some kind of reference as to what facial features they need, I end up just making the same basic face on everyone and it takes away from the character.
