Nebride smiled as she hugged Gwendar back. "It is good that your friend agreed. Yes--I know he's here. I'm High Priestess here, remember? I can feel whenever someone new comes into our village. Even if they are cloaked." She pulled away slightly. "Let's meet your friend."

Jane listened as Gren began to teach Togan. This was the second time she had ended up hearing their conversation. "It's like I'm an eavesdropper." She shook her head and with a waive of her hand, Gren's clothes appeared in her arms. "I guess I'll go have these washed."

this is absolutly crazy *elazul thought as he crawled up to the back of the tent*...better grael didnt know i was here yet might cause problems....
well better get started *he says as he pulls out a small explosive at the steaks golding the tent down to the ground*

(((sorry guys was away. ill make up for it sometime i promise ^^))
Sek:
"well i might as well make it easy for you to find me" he said to Nebride who was slightly surprised.
"you are clearly a powerful elf.......it is nice to meet you" he said giving a small bow.
Gwendar:
"well Nebride this is my good friend Sek....high inquisitor Sek master of the marches and...." he said before being cut off.
Sek:
"oh please my names Sek to you......high inquisitor Sek is a long enough name as it is" he said laughing.
Togan:
Togan watched on as he saw Gren bend over and over.
he was amazed at how flexible she was.
he tried doing some of the things she did but hardly managed to do any.

Nebride gave a bow. "It is an honor to meet you, Sek. Any friend of Gwendar's is welcome here--so long as the peace is nt disturbed." She looked around at the other elves. They were all a little edgy now that another outsider had just appeared. They kept their distance, but they were still curious.
"Do not worry--they will not do anything." Nebride looked back at Sek. "They know better."

i stood up and shook out my legs to loosten them. "ok. this is where it gets a little tricky. i warned you this training would be tough" i dropped down on the ground with my legs and back strait. it was time to do pushups.
"i'm going to do these with you" my voice was serious. there was no more time for fun and games. "we're going to do 55 of these"

....now the fun begins *he says as soon as he lits the fuses to the explosives* ...damn imperials cant belive they can even call them self soldiers he says as he sees the torso of one of the soldiers fly and land 14 feet away* ...........i really hope grael want in there *he thought to him self as he draws a sword and inspect hte mark that used ot be a tent and finds grael on the ground with a look of shock on his face* im sorry about that i didnt think that through all the way

he woke his ears still ringing.
"WHAT THE HELL IS RONG WITH YOU!!!" he screamed trying to stand back up.
he soon realised that he was yelling at the rong person
they needed to get the other villagers quickly.
Sek:
"im glad that theve learnt to respect the authority of the emperor. hopefully under his great leadership our races can live peacefully." he said
Gwendar:
he wanted to change that subject quickly. He knew that Nebride was a proud elf and her opinion about the emperors treatment of the elfs. he also knew that her view and Seks would undoubtedly cause an argument if he didnt stop it.
"Anyway Nebride....i was wondering if you would mind if Sek was the priest at our wedding. he used to be a holy man before the hunters and im not quite sure if an elven marriage is the same as ours.....but if its ok i would likve him to be our priest" he asked.
he didnt know what her opinion would be but either way he would support it.

Nebride ignored Gwendar for the moment and looked directly into Sek's eyes. "My concern was not for you....it was for my people. I do not want our peace disturbed again. We have worked too hard to gain it back." She turned to looked at Gwendar.
"Of course Sek can be our priest at the wedding. Your weddings and ours are not that different. They may be a little different in some aspects, but where did you guys think you learned?" She raised an eyebrow.
Nebride's eyes glazed over slightly and she sighed. "If you will please excuse me. Jane is calling for me." In a swift movement she turned and left the two men.

Sek:
the nerve....."were do you think you learned" how dare she. If the elves are so damb smart and all knowing why is it that there race is practically extinct.
he couldnt resist to complain about her border line heretical remark.
"we may have learnt marriage ceremonies from the elves but the reason you build houses is becuase of human ingenuity."
"in fact the mortal use of magic was discovered by u....."
gwendar had grabbed his shoulder a sign that he wanted this argument to end NOW.
Gwendar:
"thank you Nebride it means alot to me.....Sek wont be any trouble" he said giving her a kiss goodbye.
Sek:
"me be trouble.....hrmf" he scoffed.

Nebride smiled as she walked away slowly. "You think so huh? Well...I'll just leave you to your thoughts then." She gave Gwendar a wink as she walked away.
Jane met her halfway. "Nebride! There's someone here! A witch hunter and..."
Nebride held up her hand. "It's okay Jane. He is only a friend of Gwendars. No harm will be done here. Would you help me in keeping the others calm?" She stopped when she saw Tristan stalking towards them. "Why don't you go meet Sek, Jane? I need to speak with Tristan."
Jane glanced over her shoulder and after a moment, nodded. "I'll leave you then." She left Nebride to find the two men. When she finally did they were talking. Jane stood there quietly.
"Greetings. I am Jane." She looked at the newcomer. "Perhaps you would like a place to rest? Someplace to wash up?"

he saw the elf approach them and offer him a place to rest.
"rest....NO!......rest is for the weary....those who are weary lack the strength of will to stay awake. and the witch hunters share the will of the emperor thus are never weary." he spoke out one of his ancient oaths.
Gwendar:
"hello Jane" he said smiling.
"dont worry about Sek....he doesnt mean to be rude im afraid witch hunters lead very different lives to normal people......or even elves." he said
"im sure Sek would like a place to stay the night" he nodded toward her.
Sek:
"I dont need to wash either.....the blood of our enemys may stain my blade and my armor but i wear them like medals......Gwendar you have changed much since you fled the order." he had not chosen his last words well.
Gwendar:
"FLED....i did not flee...i was forced out. AND your right i have changed...but for the better"
Sek:
"perhaps you thinks so.....but a lapse in faith in my eyes....is not" he said
"remember that it is the emperor that protects our lives.....not the elves." he said finally

i brought my body down to the floor then back up, being carefull to keep my back strait. "1" i repeated the movement. "2" and again, "3. . . togan, let me know if 55 of these is too much"

Jane clenched her teeth. Unlike Nebride, she was not fully trained enough to keep her sarcasm out of her voice. "Very well. If you do not want to bathe or rest then so be it. I don't need to spoken to as if I'm an ignorant child. If you want to stink and be unsociable then be my guest."
"Traako," Jane muttered as she turned her head to the side. There was a disturbance in the temple. "I must go--there are things I need to take care of." She turned and walked away from the two men.

Nebride stopped in front of Tristan. "What is it now, Tristan?"
"They say there's a witch hunter here," Tristan growled.
"So what if there is? That is none of your concern."
Tristan looked at her with disbelief. "But what if something goes wrong? What if he attacks?" He threw his hands up in exasperation. "They cannot be trusted."
Nebride arched an eyebrow. "And they say the same about. We must be better than that and accept them for who they are. They believe what they want to believe, and we believe what we want." She grasped Tristan's arm and turned him around. "Now go and find something constructive to do. If I hear of you approaching Gwendar's friend in a hostile manner I will not hesitate to do something drastic. Do I make myself clear?"
Tristan stared at her for a moment. "Yes, High Priestess." He gave a bow and walked away.
