He nodded as he looked at the young girl. " Something about her makes me cold.. '' He thought to himself. " Hey you hungry? " He waited for her response.

Standing back as the scene unfolded its self right infront of her and the rest of the ships crew, Nic watched in curiosity of what would happen next. As she did so she tried to stay in the shadows of the ship to keep from one getting in the way of whatever it was that was going on, until she needed to step in, and second to hide from anyone seeing her right away. There has to be a catch somewhere with this...it seems almost too perfect to be real...I should know...Nic thought with a slight sigh and pushed some stray hair out of her face. The grip she had on her bag became even tighter as she remembered that she had not seen anyone on the ship for a while, also because she had no idea what the Gekko was up to since she left. There were still so many things that had gone unanswered for her, but it was nothing new to her. She was well used to the feeling by now and just continued to watch Kayako and the others from her spot.

With an almost comical look on her face, Nic's jaw clenched shut and her eye's became wide. Spinning around soshe could face who ever it was behind her only to let out a sigh of relief. "It's only you..." she said with a slight hint of bitterness, "Well I was better before you did that to me." Nic said while uncleching her fists.

Giving a short wave hello to Reiku, Nic seperated from everyone else and began walking through the ship to see if anything had changed. As she came upon a familiar area, she peeked inside to see if the room was still what she thought it was. "Still the infirmary..." she said as she opened the door all the way to get a better look.

"Hello Reiku, could be worse. I see not much has changed since I've been gone." she said with a slight motion to the room behind her. "So what about you? Anything interesting happen?"

"No not really..." she said as she looked down the hall see if anyone else was around that she remembered. She wanted to tell him and everyone else what she had found out, but she knew that she couldn't at least not yet. So she continued to hold her tounge for that subject until the time when she could say, Yes my family isn't all dead.

Ignoring the antics of everyone else, Kayako had begun heading up into the ship as she had tried to before, accompanied by the others. However, when she had finally reached the top of the loading ramp, she suddenly stopped again, let her bag fall to the ground, and turned around to face everyone with a puzzled look on her face.

Asuka immediately sighed, knowing instinctively that something odd was about to happen, again. However, she also was not enjoying being made to stand around on the ramp all day, and so the redhead spoke up before the leader had a chance to say anything. "What is it now, Kayako?"

The purple-headed girl looked over, still puzzled. "I can't shake the feeling that I'm forgetting something! Something important....."

"Well, can we go inside THEN try to figure it out? It's hot out here...."

"AHA!"

"Did you remember?"

"NO! But, I remembered something ELSE!"

"Oh gawd, what?"

"Where the hell are Medri and Kana?! I haven't seen either of them since before we fought with Rain!"

At that statement, Asuka looked dumbstruck. Even she had to admit, she hadn't wondered about either of the ex-military pilots. In fact, she hadn't even noticed they were gone, which was something that struck even her as odd. Asuka was not typically one to forget something so important. Perhaps it was proof that she had been spending too much time with the maniac in front of her....

"Wait..." Asuka thought allowed, recalling something that had happened earlier "So that's what it was! The last time I went down to check Silence, I kept thinking that something in the hangar looked different...That was it, their LFOs were missing!"

"Well, at least we know they didn't die from being locked in somewhere..." Kayako stated off-handedly. Even she had begun to worry that some colossal blunder had led to the death of some of their crew. It wouldn't be the first time that antics of that type had ensued. She was reminded of a certain bag of old meat that certain crew members still believed had been a dead body.

"Hey Asuka, did they leave a note?"

"How should I know?! If they did, they probably left it and plain sight and you threw it out!"

"I know what a note looks like, and I assure you I have seen no note!"

As usual, bickering ensued between the so-called Captain and the redheaded pilot. This time, however, at least some progress was made, since Ryouki finally took the initiative to push the both of them out of the way so that everyone could finally come back inside of the ship.

Liana, who only a moment ago had been the center of attention, found herself left alone, and soon slinked off to go explore her new homestead. Gray followed her for a time, but being a boy, he eventually found his way into the kitchen, and that was where he stayed.
