Selkisto was wandering among the lower levels waiting for a message from Heb when he realized that he was unarmed, which was a very bad thing to be, especially down here. His guns had been taken at the platform, for "safe keeping,"so all She had now was his armor and mask. That needed to be rectified post-haste.
Luckily, an old black-market arms dealer remained where Selkisto remembered finding him before. The dealer didn't recognize him very well, but he wasn't surprised. "Kabirl'om. What've you got in stock?"
The dealer glared at him. "That depends. What you want? And... how much credits you got?"
"Enough," Selkisto answered the second question politely, "And I'm looking for a temporary replacement for my E-11 and DL-44."
"Those antiques? I gots some much better stuff in. Brand new." He pulled a rifle out from under the desk. "BlasTech SO-19. I've nicknamed it the SIBD."
"SIBD?" Selkisto asked, mildly interested.
"Silent, invisible, but deadly. I's gotta bolt masking mechanism for stealth. Weapons readers'll find it, of course, but it's not made to be invisible to those things. It's made to be invisible to the senses. Hearing. Sight. I did some tinkering so it's more effective, more powerful, has greater range. In fact-"
Selkisto tossed a credit chip on the counter. "I'll take it."
"Good! Good!" Kabirl'om swiped it without more than a strange smile.
Selkisto took the rifle. It felt nice and cold in his gloved hands, the sturdy materials and interesting shape finding an agreeable place in his grip. "How about pistols?"
((i'll add pistols to the OGTTG, when i draw them up)) "Got here a Merr-Sonn PP-23. Not as new, but pretty advanced. High power, large pack capacity. Added a scope on, meself-"
"I don't need the scope. Let me see it."
The dealer handed the gun to him warily, and Selkisto grasped it lightly, aiming up into the cieling with it. He checked the settings. Stun, power, consumption. Not bad. "No scope. Targeter, but no scope."
The man nodded, "Ok, ok... you want it, then?" Selkisto nodded. "Alright..." another greedy swipe.
"Can I try them out before I go?"
The man nodded absentmindedly, "O' course, o' course..."
Selkisto went to a sound-dampened room to try them out. He configured the SO-19, powered up the stealth unit, and took a few shots on full auto. Not quite silent, but very quiet, merely releasing a kind of high-pitched squeek. He configured the visual trail range and put on his mask to connect with the gun's light frequency. He could see the shots himself. He tried without the mask. Invisible. He tried some more shots with increasing power increments with great satisfaction.
Satisfied, he traded for the PP-23. It had tremendous recoil; clearly it had a lot of brute force. Much more powerful than his DL-44. Large pack capacity too. It also felt more comfortable to grip, and slightly more stable. He took a few more shots. Bright red bolts dishcharged from the weapon, screeching at the target board. It was an ubrupt change from the SO-19, but not altogether unwelcome.
Selkisto purchased some power packs for the weapons, some frag and smoke grenades, and went merrily on his way.

Cale walked slowly through the starship impound lot, singing an old pirate tune to himself as he searched for his ship. "Im a brave young privateer my sword is swift, I have no fear. to fame and fortune I shall steer and the Devil knows my name..."
He came upon a starfighter that bore a striking resemblance to the atmospheric combat jets of a bygone era. the vessel was white with a red, gold and black trim. a laser cannon hung underneath and hardpoint mounts marked several places on the wings. a flaming bird insignia was carefuly painted near the fusalage next to the ship's name: Phoenix. Cale ran his hand along the fighter and made his way to the cockpit, still singing his tune. "A crew thats young a crew thats bold we'll use their gold to fill our hold. our roger makes their blood run cold and the Devil knows our name..."
He slipped on the helimit he left on the cockpit seat and buckled himself fin. he powered up the ship's mighty engines and went into the refrain "And the Devil knows our name! but he fears us just the same! through ladies' lips and pirate ships across the stars and 'lanes, Through out the pouring rain, on a ship that has no name we'll drink and will kill and we'll fight and we'll steal for fortune and for fame We'll cross the hyperlanes, and burn them down in flames We'll loot and we'll lunder through the lighting and thunder...."
the engines all called green. Cale grinned and hit the repulsolifts, maneuvering it above the impound yard and took off. as he reached orbit and layed in his course for Coruscant he finished the verse. "And the Devil knows my name..."
the stars became lines as he accelerated to hyperspace.

Selkisto, now armed satisfactorily, strode into a local bar. He didn't go there for drinks, he went to fill his part of the bargain.
Ok, maybe one drink.
He choked down an elba beer, suddenly remembering why he hated alcohol. Oh well, he was now prepared to take on the job. It was a stupid way to prepare, but it was the only way he thought he could do it.
"So, about this 'Jall Crentik' person I keep hearing about," he said, quite loudly. He motioned casually to the droid serving drinks. "Y'heard of him? I hear he nabbed a kid. 'S too bad, these kids being abducted. Such things make me sick. 'Specially the rich kids. Y'knowwhaddahmsayin?"
The droid, of course, stared blankly back at him. It hadn't had its mind wiped in a while, a fact made apparent in its response. "Sir, I suggest that you not say things like that around here. In your condition, you'd be lucky to confront mister Jall and walk away on both legs."
Selkisto laughed, loudly, heartily. "Y'hear that, folks? I wouldn't walk away on two legs! Hah! I bet that slimy piece o' worm-ridden filth..." he paused, composing an extension to the insult, "sithspawn of an ewok turd..." pause, "uncle of a hut..." he stopped as several men advanced on him. About time, too, he was running out of insults, "couldn't even pull the ears offa... offa womprat!"
He was in a crouching position before the first blaster bolt hit the wall behind him. With a quick motion of his hand, his mask was over his face. Another motion and his rifle was out in his right hand, another and a grenade was gripped in his left. He let the grenade onto the floor in front of him and it exploded on impact, letting out a plume of smoke that immediately filled the room. The peaceful residents coughed violently and fled, while the remaining stooges groped around for Selkisto. Three shots with his SO-19 and all but one were down. Selkisto grabbed the lone survivor and held him up by his collar, gun pressed against his head.
"So about that kid. I know where he is, I just need a key card."
The stooge whimpered and dropped it on the floor.
"Thanks." Selkisto pulled the trigger, letting the body slump to the ground. He bent over, and picked up the card, then turned to the droid. "Sorry for the mess. Thanks for the warning." He tossed a credit chip on the counter and left the bar as he pocketed the key card. So far, so good. He wasn't quite used to the gun yet, but he got the feeling he'd get plenty of practice before he was finished with this ordeal.

Hecoll was busy sending transmissions to every place that could recieve them. The transmissions interrupted other transmissions that were being watched. "Yes..." he said." This way, people will watch my shop advertisements throughout the galaxy!". He plotted. plotted. pllllloooooteeed.....and plotted.

Imperius dodged the attack, but he knew that his apprentice was learning well.
"You're learning to fight in my style, my apprentice, but first you must concentrate on the basics, of form 1. And also, you must try and learn to use a force power."
Imperius turned off his saber, and frontflipped through the air, and grabbed Angel, who was caught off guard.

" I suppose you're right. Only by mastering the basics could I be able to use your style with any effectiveness. " Angel said. " And for Force powers, I suppose being able to move objects using the Force would be a start... Force Levitate, right? I can see ways such a power would could in handy. " She then attempted to prepare for another attack, but the Dark Lord had come up and grabbed her before she could do anything, causing her lightsaber to fall out of her hands. " I see I still have much to learn. "

"That you do, my apprentice. as for Levitation, yes, it does come quite handy."
Using the force, he lifted Angel up into the air and held her there, close to the ceiling.
"I could do this." he said. Next, he lifted up the flowers adorning the table and her lightsaber and brought them up to her.
"And I could do this." He walked over to the bed and picked up a pillow.
"Try and lift this," he said,

Remembering the 1st time she had used the Force during training back on Bespin when she moved the sofa, she attempted to lift the pillow using the Force. She wasn't being guided through it this time, and at 1st, nothing was happening. She focused on the feeling of the Force within herself, and then tried to focus as though she was forcing it to reach out to the pillow. After a few moments, it started to slowly move, but didn't quite defy gravity.

Angel did as the Dark Lord said, clearing her mind of everything and focusing solely on moving the pillow byt reaching out to it through the Force. It started moving about and shaking more intensely, and after a few moments, began to rise.

Imperius slowly lowered Angel and as he did, she slowly raised the pillow.
"Excellent. Your powers are rising."

Angel managed to slowly move the pillow around in the air, and started to feel it become easier to manipulate as she felt as though she had more control over the Force. " The other students back at the academy would be pretty jealous of me now. " She said, as she lowered the pillow back down where it was.
