Haucon's tension increased when the scythe went over Liam's head. His own hand was digging frantically in his pocket, finally returning with the dagger. If I stab would it even injure him?! his mind raced, He used to be an angel, so...Don't be hasty now. his better half told him. Deep breaths, he hasn't harmed anyone yet...and besides odds are with that scythe he could do you or Leila much more damage than you could him. He stood poised, prepared to move if he had to, but contemplating all the other possibilities in the mean time. He knew he'd have time to push Leila out of the way, and that was all that mattered.

His eyes wandered down to Haucon's hand, in his pocket searching for something most likey. A weapon? he thought. He knew he had caused tension in the man and looked directly into his eyes. He knew if he even tried to hurt him it wouldn't work, not for long at least. But he didn't want that situation to occur, because he'd find himself injuring more people. he gripped his scythe again, becoming nervous of the man's action, while at the same time staring him in the eyes knowingly.

Leila's eyes darted between the two, sensing the uneasiness between them. Seeing Haucon's arm dart into his pocket at the same time the scythe went up, she took a grip of his arm and gave him a worried glance before shaking her head. Leila looked over at Liam before whispering a "sorry" for Haucon's actions.
"There are no evil intentions here," she finally said a bit louder, directed at both of them.

Haucon felt Leila grab his arm and even more foolish, he pulled his arm from her grasp and thrust the knife back in his pocket. Muttering in fairish he moved to the wall of the building and leaned against it heavily. He sighed watching Leila. She was so open and kind, after so much evil had been done to her. How could she be so trusting?! he said to himself in fairish knowing she was right but not wanting to admit it.

Leila felt...something well inside her when Haucon pulled away from her, moved away from her to stand by himself, leaving her there. She had no name for this emotion, but she knew she didn't like it.
She turned her attention back to Liam for a second. "Do you...want some time to think about it?"

"How do you do that!?" Haucon said to himself in fairy-speak. He was ashamed of his reactions but still didn't understand why Leila was so trusting. He glanced over at the angel for a second and shook his head, looking back at Leila. "You've more courage than I." he whispered still in fairish. He slammed his fist into the wall once, trying to release this pent up tension.

He watched as Leila stopped the man, and frowned at his reactions. He watched the man hit the wall with his fist unexpectedly, after she had offered him more time. He shook his head, "This is what I end up causing," he motioned over to Haucon, "At least this isn't even half as bad as what I've done in the past," his expression drowned in sadness. "I won't cause anymore uneasiness between you and your partner," he said apologetically as he took a second to look over at the fairy.

"No, don't...!" Leila stopped herself in mid-sentence, her eyes falling to her feet. "I...wait here." She gave Liam an apologetic nod before going over to Haucon, a confused and concerned look on her face. She leaned close to him, putting her hands on his shoulder. "What's wrong?" she whispered, searching his eyes for the answer. "I didn't think you had this kind of temper..."

Miu froze when Liam grabbed her shoulder. There was so much dark energy. 'How can a fallen angel have so much dark energy?' she thought, in shock. She hadn't expected him to have that much energy. She was turning pale. Then she saw another person come over, a girl, a demon. Miu, still in shock watched as everything happened, then said "How can a demon be so kind? To keep others from battling? The other angels have always said demons were evil... and yet you're kind"

Leila glanced over at the angel she still didn't know the name of. "I haven't been a demon for very long," she replied quickly before turning her attention back to Haucon.

Haucon felt that coppery green surge again. "I..." he began, but stopped not sure how to explain it. "You've never seen my temper so you wouldn't know." he said finally with a sigh. He shook his head.
"Apologize for me would you?" he asked, looking into her eyes for the first time. He pulled her hands off his shoulders and took them in his own. "I think I'm just a wee bit jealous..." he said finally feeling like a little boy, "and paranoid..." he added glancing at the two newcomers. "You're so quick to trust Leila! After all that's happened to you! I'm not like that..." he said as simply as he could. He kissed her hand and took a deep breath. "Go apologize? Please?" he asked. "I'm going to get myself under control and then I'll apologize myself..." he added.

Liam broke his gaze at the man and looked over at the angel. Her face was in shock and was very pale, but he wasn't sure it was because of the kindness of the demon. He carefully gazed at her shoulder. It almost looked as if it was glowing a adeep purple. He took another look at her face and then turned away.
