:He looked out the window and saw an old man and other men behind him: It's an old. . .well. . . colliege and he is here for Ashitaka. Hide her somewere and keep her hidden. If he finds her, he'll use her to try and pry open heaven's gate and take back his youth. If he does, she will die. Don't let them find her. ;He ran to the front door and closed it behind him and you could hear yelling from the men and a gunshot. The old man and his men came inside. He had shot Kain:

"Kain!"Mina growled and ran through the door.Mina pulled out an arrow,and the tip of it started to glow white, and she shot it towards the old man and the other men."Barrier!"Mina yelled and the arrow exploded, creating a white barrier around the house and it sent the old man and the men flying.Mina closed the doors quickly and took Kain into the room Ashitaka was in.
