Brutus noticed a figure running toward him and he noticed it was Lypse. He smiled again and etended his arms. He scooped her up in a hug several feet off the ground and then placed her on his right shoulder, the one not bearing his pauldron.
"I'm glad someone is happy to see me."
He looked at her, and blushed a little. He never realised how diffrent she was from the others. Brutus was feeling something, but wasnt sure what iit was. He dissmissed it and walked onward.
"Have I missed much?"

"Waaah!" Was all that Lypse could manage to say as she was swept up in the large mutant's embrace. She attempted to hug him back, but found that her arms barely reached the back of great figure's impressive torso. She couldn't suppress a giggle as he easily hoisted her onto his shoulder. "Senior Knight, I take this to mean that you've regained your former morale with a surplus?" She teased after he made his first comment.
She failed to notice his blush, as she only had a view of the back of his head from her position. "Have you missed much?" She repeated, more to herself than to Brutus, "Junktown has been raided, and we currently have a number of Brotherhood members taking care of the situation there." She paused as though thinking, then spoke again. "Activity in my field has been rather lacking, the only person I have had intentions of speaking with was you, and that's been rather difficult with you being away from base without anyone knowing of your location." She shifted in his arms, trying to find a more comfortable position. "Where have you been?"

He chuckled.
"Nowhere and everwhere. I've visited a couple of ruins, a trading town to the north, a large mountain range and a radier camp. I have killed many people in the time I have not been here, but my hands are only stained with the blood of evil. I rescued the slaves in the raider camp and saved a man from a rock slide. I'm still by no means a hero, but I feel a lot better about myself. I'm sorry I had to skip out on my scheduled brain examinations, but I simply couldnt stay."
He chuckled to himself and stood directly in front of the gate.
"I missed everyone over this last two months. There is one person I need to talk to more than anyone else. I should speak with my grandaughter."

Lypse nodded her head, "So you've been selflessly performing heroic deeds without actually being a hero. That makes about as much sense to me as the 'in depth' discussions between Jet addicts." She turned to face him as best she could from her position over his extremely muscled and unarmored shoulder. "Have you ever considered that you may be too harsh in judging yourself, Brother?" There was a look of concern mixed into the stern gaze she offered him before he continued speaking, at which point Lypse listened intently. "Word of your relationship to Lyanah has spread through parts of the base... I have actually talked to her, but she claimed to be in need of some time alone. Naturally, I advised her that the best person to talk to was likely you." She paused, then added as an afterthought, "Unless you wish me to intrude upon your discussion with her, you may wish to set me down." She grinned at the mutant to show she was not uncomfortable in the position, but it was advisable that he follow her suggestion.

"Sure I've done a lot of good things, but I've done a lot of bad things too. In order to make myself feel more good than bad, I must do more good deeds than bad ones."
Brutus finnally picked up on her hint and lifted her off his sholder,placing her down on the ground next to him.
"We should talk again soon."
He took another look at her and tryed to imprint her image into his brain, something he'd been trying to do with everyone since he began to remember things but Brutus still felt that wierd feeling toward here. There was another reason for him to remember the way she looked, but he still couldnt pin point the reason why. With an invisible shrug to himself he took a deep breathe through his nose, exhaled and entered the base in a search for his only family member.

After having been set down, Lypse faced Brutus as best as their height difference would allow her to. When she spoke, her tone was not sombre, but it was indeed serious in nature. "Remember Senior Knight, the mistakes you have made were in the past, and you have had the necessary time to learn from them and ensure that such is not repeated again. There is also the 'fact' that we continually change over time. You are not the same exact version of yourself that you were back then. Each day is an opportunity to improve in any and every way you have the power to."
As he spoke his last words before he turned to leave, she replied, "We undoubtedly will, Brother." There was a friendly, welcoming smile displayed upon her face. She seemed pleased with the idea and confident that they would indeed be talking again within a short period. "I will be in the library." With that she turned to head towards the structure which held the Brotherhood's knowledge, revealed through terminals and books which explained all that she wished to know. "Best of luck in your affairs, Brother Brutus!" She shouted over her shoulder as she walked away.

Lyanah walked into the wastelands having heard of Brutus's return, there had been so much going on over the past couple of months....their triumph in the last mission had seemed overwhelming, and still in fact did, however his abrupt slight in rank had caused a shock for Brutus as well as herself. He had gone off...to do what she didn't know...but now he was back and she needed to go see him. He was her closest companion in these barracks and she was eager to see him well.
Breaching a sand dune she looked out and spotted Brutus amongst a cloud of dust. She smiled wide and waved, noticing Lypse walking off in the distance. She yelled over the distance: "BRUTUS! WELCOME HOME!!!"

Brutus ran as fast as he could to meet up with Lyanah. When he got close enough he picked her up and threw her into the air, catching her in his arms, and cradling her to hsi chest. He made sure he didnt squish the poor girl, but he wasnt afraid to show his affection.
"I'm Home Lyanah! I'm finally home! It took me a while to get my mind back in the right place, but im OK now."
He wanted to touch upon thier relation by blood, but he wasnt sure how to adress it. He missed her, and being his best friend he just wanted to focus on that for at least this brief moment.

((Well sense i don't know where your coming from i'll just go ahead and speculate that its the south gate, and sense you where only gone for technically around 20 hours i'll just scip ahead and pretend im not the hospital still))
Alex stood outside leaning up against the Demolition bunker with her arms crossed over her chest watching Brutus with a hint of disgust towards him, snorting in his general direction Alex pushed her self of the wall and turned heel and went inside the demolitions bunker to avoid Brutus.

Brutus saw Alex's silouette in the distance and he smiled. He began to wave but saw her turning away from him and leaving the area. Brutus remembered the mission... he remembered her lifeless body in his arms, broken and dying as he shouted for a doctor to come and save her life. He remembered the searing pain of the frozen flesh from Danny's mamoth leg jutting out of his knee, and the jarring shock he got when he fell to the oposite knee. He managed to find a medic who stabilized her, but they hadnt spoken since. Knowing her, she was really mad at him, and Brutus wasnt surprised. He hoped to talk with her soon, but would wait until she was more willing.

Lyanah smiled and laughed aloud when he threw her up in the air. He looked so much happier now, she hadn't seen him this happy since before the mission, and even then he had been slightly more reserved. She liked how he said it, how he said Home, for that was indeed what the Brotherhood had become for them.
"I've missed you my friend!! Its been quiet without you here to help me raise a ruckus as usual! What have you been up to?!"

"The ussual sis, killing baddies and helping people."
He rested her on his right shoulder and turned away from the base.
"Let's take a walk, I wanna talk about somethin."
He walked with her on his shoulder for about ten minutes before speaking.
"So.... im your grandfather.... dosent fate have a way of kicking us in the a**?"
He chuckled to himself.
"So that means my child was your parent. What do you think about all of this?"

Zaid reached the duel spot and from the first look at it he realised that it was the perfect place to train anyone to use a mobile in desert warfare
it had a few trees here and there and some big boulders thrown around making an obstacle course
not to mention a few places where the sands shifted up and down creating pits where a mobile suit can trip and lose balance
and for a fight this terrain would deffinitely take any advantage from both fighters and now only the skills of the pilots will decide who wins
even skill won't matter as much as who gets to use the terrain better
after a few hours of getting familiarized with the lay of the land
he saw a couple of buggies arriving they were the guys from the research and developement labs
and even a few extra spectators the base was still only 800 meters away but they decided to use the vehicles to get here and back quicker
also incase of a sandstorm which happens pretty often around here Mark and Zaid won't have enough room to carry everyone back to base
so everyone was seated and prepared to witness a great match
and all that was left was Mark who as usual is always fashionably late

At twenty forty-five Lypse pulled the Hummer up just outside of the bunker, she'd already radioed her Brother and Sister, while Jax was sitting in the back of the vehicle. She pulled on the emergency break and powered off the vehicle, then hopped outside of it to wait for her companions. Jax, meanwhile was busy admiring the hunting rifle she'd given him, he'd never had a weapon with such a capacity for long-range shots as this before, and was excited to put it to good use. In his pocket was a dosage of the altered psycho, which Lypse had requested he take when they arrived at their destination.

Brutus left the bunker and spotted the hummer in the distance. He approached Lypse and the hummer pointing to the gunner's seat (which was the only open top seat in the vehicle).
"I call dibs. I wont be able to fit in the damn thing otherwise."
With a chuckle he rested his hands on his hips and took a deep breathe with a smile on his face. He was going on an adventure with his friends, something he longer for fro the longest time.
