Gaara lifted his hand having sand slowly flow to the place the Uchiha had once stood. His eyes blank he muttered as well, "Your ways will change in time... just like mine... then you will be the lucky one Uchiha..." He turned to look at the blond and stared for several moments not blinking... Tears silently fell from his eyes and he didn't understand.... he never understood. "You are sacrificing so much.... but i don't understand why?"
"A mere illusion... that is what it was Haku." Zabuza bent over and picked the smaller boy up bridal style holding on tight. Kissing Haku on the forehead he continued, "I wouldn't let myself be killed so easily, especially if you are the one in danger." Beginning to walk Zabuza sighed looking straight ahead thinking of a way to help himself and the boy with him. "Keep in mind a blade without a handle can still be used, but neither will its owner be able to use it nor will it be used unless a new handle is created for it." zabuza sighed finishing, "Unfortunately making a new handle will cost money, money we don't have...."

Deidara frowned, shaking his head. "No, I already sacrificed everything I had when I joined Akatsuki, un. I don't have anything to lose now." He burshed his thumb across the smaller boy's cheek, wiping away the tears. "I saw you getting hurt, un...and it pained me more than I ever expected. I'm sorry, un..." He hugged the Kazekage tightly, as if afraid to let go. "I'll take you back to Suna now, un..."

Haku looked up at Zabuza and suddenly felt a bit more relaxed, being in his arms. He rested an arm around the man's shoulder and buried his face in his chest, still feeling a bit overwhelmed, though. After a little while, he unburied his face, but still kept his head close to Zabuza's chest. Watching the scenery go by as they moved, he thought about what Zabuza had said.
Haku frowned as he thought about the money problem. They were now in an even more need of it because he was hurt. It was no longer just because they needed to eat. Relaxing a bit more in Zabuza's hold, he concentrated on figuring out how to get the money needed. He couldnt do much of anything in his condition, so it would have to be something Zabuza could do alone...
Haku's eyes narrowed on a leaf from a tree, and thought up an idea....
"Zabuza...-kun?" Haku murmered, almost too quiet for the man to hear. "What about.. Konohagakure...? I mean... We'd probably have to be in disguise, but... They're the closest village, and we know some nin from there..." More like, attacked, and somewhat got killed by... But everyone can turn a new leaf, from time to time... He thought, a grim smile set slightly upon his lips. "If we could convince them... that, yeah, we're missing-nin, but the bridge had just been a job, like their own..." He chewed on his lip slightly, wincing at the hole already bitten there from earlier. Now, all of a sudden, he was thinking it wasnt such a great idea... But it wasnt exactly easy for him to think right then, anyways.

"I guess..." Gaara sighed stepping away from the blond. Head down he closed his eyes. He allowed silence to engulf him for a few moments and then extended his hand towards the blond... "If we return to Suna are you going to come with me?"
Stopping Zabuza frowned, "Must that be our path Haku...?" He paused realizing that his partner had been right when talking about Konoha. "Getting the money is at the utmost urgency so if our path is set in that direction then so be it...."

Deidara blinked, then grinned, taking the offered hand. "Only if you'll let me, un..." Looking in the direction of Suna, he added, "How fast do you want to get there, un? I didn't want to use this n the way to Akatsuki, I didn't want to be there so soon, un. But..." He slipped a hand inside his clay pouch, coming out with a small clay bird, which he tossed in front of them and put his hands together in a sign. In a puff of smoke, the bird was replaced with a much larger, more detailed version of itself.
Looking back to the Kazekage, Deidara grinning. "I don't think you'll remember flying, you were kinda out of it last time, un..."

Haku chewed on his lip for a few more moments untill he tasted blood from the hole he'd bitten into it, again. "If it makes you uncomfortable... I'm sure we could think of something else..." He murmered. He was getting tired again, his body working on recovering and resting. "I'm sure there's some sort of hotspings past Konoha that wouldnt mind an extra hired hand..." He gave off a small yawn, his eyelids growing heavy.

((Ummm... I'm not going to be on Gaia any more and so I've spent the day looking for a replacement. Her name is Unknown_Promise and she roleplays Kiba and others (Even Naruto) and she will be picking them up for my so you guys don't have to get behind or whatever with Kiba or Naruto or whoever else I am and hopefully she'll be on more then I am.))

((Let's see...I need to post as Naruto and...maybe Akamaru. I hope you don't mind that Kajikyuubi and I traded places since she has been banned from the computer.))
Naruto yipped and growled playfully. He pushed Sasuke down on to the bed and moved so he was sitting on top of him. "Good. I don't think I want you to win this type of fight. I like being on top." He smirked and laughed at the look on Sasuke's face.
((I need to wait for either Neji, Shikamaru or Oro-kun to post before I can do anything as Kiba.))

Gaara stared silently surprised at the clay bird. He shifted around awkwardly. "Let's just say that this form of transportation isn't in the top of my list of great transportation..."
"We'll see..." Zabua answered turning in the direction of Konoha thinking of the hot spring. The problem was he really didn't see where he'd fit in the environment. Yes he was used to steam and mist everywhere, but actually the hot spring themselves. Yet he knew that this wasn't just for his well being, but for Haku so he made his decision. "Alright this may be our only chance until we move across the country and you recover." Moving Haku so he'd get a stronger hold he started off in the drection of the said place.

Haku winced as he was shifted in Zabuza's hold, and nodded slightly. He was barely keeping his eyes open, now, and eventually just allowed them to close. His breathing became short and ragged as he fell asleep, and often paused from disruptive dreams triggered by his thoughts, and enhanced from the aching in his body.
"Za..bu...za...." Haku murmered after a while of being asleep, one of his hands shifting to hold onto the material of Zabuza's shirt, gripping tightly.
