"Oh," Rin replied, glancing up at him. Another small smile slipped out upon her lips, coming a little more easily than the last one, which had come as they'd passed the indent of his face in the ground. She watched him shift his position slightly and half expected for the stool to tip over, but it stood firm.
She nodded her head to his first question, and hesitated a moment before replying to the second. "...a grilled cheese sandwhich," she said firmly, suddenly looking pretty serious. More serious than she should have when simply requesting a sandwhich. But, her mother hadn't allowed her to have things like that. According to her, they were 'commoner's food', along with hamburgers and french fries.
Rin let out a small sigh, and pushed herself up, hugging her knees lightly to her chest, the skirt tucked strategically around herself. She wondered if he had his own dorm room, with his own fridge to raid, or if he just preferred taking hers.

"Grilled cheese it is, I felt like eating something cheesy anyway," Long smirked as he watched Rin get up and give a smile, which in short made Long stare at Rin in disbelief. He gave a slight raise in one brow before he observed Rin slowly. It seemed as if something bugged her when she answered what she wanted to eat. He only nodded to himself as he hopped of the stool using a spring like jump to dismount from it without even moving it.
"I'll be done in a couple of minutes, " Long asked as heturned his head 180 degrees as his body was still facing the opened the door and in the direction of the hall. Long didn't have his own room because he himself specifically requested that he didn't require a room, just a locker. If he had registered for a room, it would show up in the federal deposits and he would've been found out where he had stayed hidden.
He walked his way down to the kitchen after slightly leaving the door open for some light to shed through. Walking into the kitchen and opening the fridge, Long himself helped to some cheeses and several slices of bread. He typically looked about in the cupboards to find the frying pan as he pulled the one out from the cupboard closest to the fridge. Wiping it off with a clean napkin, he placed it over the heated gas stove as he began to spread a very thin layer of butter on the outsides of the sandwich bread. He then pulled out a grater and began shredding several kinda of cheeses he found in the fridge, the majority of it being cheddar and spicey jack cheese. After grating, he then emptied the shreds in a bowl and placed it by the stovetop. He then placed the lightly buttered bread on and let it toast before adding the cheese and placing the top bread to seal it. He obviously knew his way around the kitchen with an appettite like his.
He stood there watching as he made a sanwich for Rin, and some for himself. After clearing the kitchen and placing all of the sullied plates and pans in the auto washer, he put all the extra bread and cheese back in the fridge. The kitchen was pretty much back to how it looked before Long came in and made a snack for Rin. He then walked back to the still open fridge to find a gallon bottle of milk. Taking that out and pouring some milk into two plastic cups, he then grabbed Rin's and his own plate and placed it atop a large plate to act as a serving tray along with the plasic cups being set on it. He quietly came back down the hall with a steady and still pace to make sure the food would not tip over as he entered into Rin's bedroom and placed it on the night table beside her bed. Taking Rin's plate, he held it out to Rin waiting for her to accept.
"Hope you like it.... and I hope you aren't too much of princess to the point that you will make me feed it to you," Long said as a joke with a smile as he patiently waited for her.

"My food choice is cheesy?" Rin asked, yet another smile tugging at her lips, but this one didn't manage to slip out. She didn't even blink at the way he twisted his head around again. He seemed to do it so often that she'd already gotten herself used to it. Though, she did look a little uncertain about the surprised stare he was giving her. At his next words, she simply nodded her head and watched until he had exited down the hallway.
Then she glanced down at herself, and stared almost blankly at a part of the bed just in front of her. She didn't move for several minutes, and then finally scooted backwards off of the covers, and slid them over herself. Though, she remained sitting up so they were just over her legs and around her waist, her head now tilted back as she fixed the ceiling with a stare. She kept her mind completely blank, not worrying about anything, and not letting anything, mainly the spirit, bother her either.
She simply sat like this for the entire time he was gone, and when he reentered, she slowly turned her head until she was facing him again. Her eyes fell upon the sandwhich and she slowly lifted a hand to take the plate from him.
At his comment, she smirked faintly. "Would you do so if I was?" she asked, but then reached down and picked it up, the unfamiliar feeling of grease on her fingers making her nose wrinkle slightly. But she ignored it a moment later, and took a small bite, as if testing it to see if she approved. Apparently she did, for she took another bite soon after.

((g2g to sleep, one last one for the night))
"I'd probably have to... since there is a chance that I would be fearful of the fact that you have power as a princess and I would not want to get my a** kicked by your guards for not feeding you a grilled cheese sandwich...." Long complained and smiled at the same time as he took a seat on the stool. Reaching over to his sandwich as he pulled it over and took a bite as he pulled away from the sandwich as some of the cheese stretched as he then tried to not make a mess as he then scarfed the half of the sanwich.
Reaching over to the large plate for one napkin, Long wiped himself across his mouth, "So, how is it?" Long said as he grabbed another sandwich from the plate and took a bite of it. He was wary of how Rin had a knack for being a quiet one, "Does it qualify as something you would now like?" Long said as he took another munching bite. He was observing her carefully, she was now becoming a tiny bit more of a social person to be by. Other than what he'd seen, Rin previously possessed a similar aura to that of himself that usually had this feeling of stay away or made them unapproachable. But now, it had seemed to lose it's power and make her steadier to approach.

[K!]
Rin just smirked slightly, keeping to herself the posibility that her mother had sent guards to keep an eye on her. Hopefully she hadn't, since Rin had fully protested the idea to the point of yelling, something she rarely did, but her mother was stubborn as well. Though, since she hadn't been stolen away from the food fight, hadn't been stopped during the race, and there'd been no intervention during the meeting with Long's brothers, it led her to believe that they weren't around.
She nodded her head as his question. "I like it," she said simply, and promptly took another bite to prove this was true. "If I wanted it back home, I'd have to put in a secret request for the chef, and eat in the kitchen..." She was giving the sandwhich her full attention now, not letting her mind wander to anything else, except maybe of how her eyelids seemed to be growing heavy. She guessed as soon as she was done eating, she'd lay down, and most likely be out within a minute. She was secretly curious as to where he slept, or if he even slept at all. He was very pale compared to her, which was saying something, and he did have dark circles under his eyes.

"Glad to know my cooking isn't bad..." Long responded as he took another bite of the sandwich. He lightly reached over to his glass and drank down some of the milk. He then placed the glass back at the tray and turned his attention back.
"Chef? Alright, I'm gonna be honest," Long spoke before giving a pause, "You seemed to be spoiled by your family throughout your childhood, that's all I can assume right now..." Long smirked as he then felt rather uncomfortable as he then pulled his legs up and over his neck as he once again did another one of his odd 'human pretzel' stretches. Another note was that he was still eating his sandwich reaching his arm around his leg to put the sandwich in his mouth as he took another bite. He watched rin intently before opening his mouth, "Is it alright if I stay in your living room tonight?" He asked as he brought his legs down and awaited Rin's answer.
"I wouldn't like laying in the trees again either after I accidenly broke a nest of falcon eggs with my-" Long cut off when he remembered he sat down before laying on a nest of eggs which angered the falcons of the other nests along with the parenting falcons. It wasn't his fault, nature always seemed to dislike him.

Rin continued eating quietly, nodding her head just slightly at his first comment, a small sign of agreement. It was pretty good, and while she knew it was probably not very difficult to make a sandwhich, she herself wouldn't be able to do it. It'd end up black and burnt, charred to a crisp. She'd most likely end up burning herself as well. She wasn't very skilled around the kitchen.
She glanced to him when he said he was going to be honest, and simply shrugged at his next words. It was true, she'd admit. She had been greatly spoiled all her life, but not so much in the family bonding area. She got along with her father more than her mother, but he was away a lot, so really, her main friend was simply the maid that'd taken care of her most of her life.
This in mind, when he made his request, she actually hesitated before instantly saying no. She was used to having someone around at all times, a precaution her mother had put into effect. It had been to try and keep an eye on her so she wouldn't hurt herself, but she'd still managed to do quite a bit of damage even with people around. Oh well... The point was, she was used to people always being around, and it'd honestly felt a little strange having this whole dorm to herself.
So, she fixed Long with a silent stare for a few minutes, blinking when he mentioned falcon eggs before suddenly cutting off. She frowned, and then shrugged her shoulders. "It's fine, I suppose," she agreed rather easily, and then took another bite of the sandwhich, just halfway done.

"Thank you..." Long said knowing if he explained to her as to why he didn't have a dorm, Rin would most likely trust him less. He simply looked up and finished the sandwich himself. Reaching over, he grabbed his glass of milk and drank down the rest of the milk. He then waited for Rin to finish her meal and milk so that he would take the dishes and wash them. But then again, a thump in his mind began pounding louder and louder, he figured it was just a simple headache.
"When do you plan on being ready to face that spirit again?" Long said as he looked up at Rin from his stool whilst stretching his arms around a bit. He looked over at the window to see that his brothers were no longer watching him. He then turned to Rin rubbing his eyes ever so slightly, He was feeling very weakened. Long's face felt flushed and looked very sweaty in a way. His headache erupted into a full blown mind buster. He looked as if he were about to die, but as always it wasn't. He instead remained calm and cool about it holding his pain in and ignoring the growing pain about in his mind.

Rin nodded slighlty, and continued eating, still going at her own slow pace. Though, she still finished fairly quickly, and then slowly reached out and took the milk, staring for a second before swallowing it down as well. She set her glass and plate gently down upon the main tray, and fell silent for a moment.
"When?" she echoed, and then frowned. "Whenever she comes out, hopefully." She raised a hand to her chest, tapping the necklace softly. "If I try to remove this, then she'll definitely come." The necklace itself was sort of like a trigger. If someone made an attempt to lift it, the spirit immediately came forward.
Rin glanced down at it, and then shifted her gaze to him, head tilting very slightly as she stared. "...I think we should get some sleep, for now," she said decisively, noting his appearance at the moment, and the way he'd rubbed at his eyes. He definitely looked as if he could do with a good rest.

"Well, be ready at all times, it doesn't hurt to keep alert..." Long said as he took the large plate and began walking into the hall, he turned himself this time instead of turning his head, "Good Night Rin".
He walked down to the kitchen and set the dishes and plates in the sink as he then placed them in the auto wash to dry off. He turned his attention to the room as he went and observed some of the pictures about the room before, but again he was ignoring his migraine for so long, that it just kicked in and felt worse this time.
It felt as if Long was having his mind explode, but it stopped, he suddenly had flash backs of his past as he then viewed how many people were screaming, death and decay was created with each footstep. He fell to the floor holding his head as if the sudden pass-by of memories was too much for him. The blood on his hands, the bodies he gave quick end to...even men who begged for mercy. Long had suddenly stopped, he laid there on his side before sitting up and pulling his knees to his chest.
He looked forward and seen that there was a photo of Rin, he stared at it for awhile. He sat there for hours before thinking he let his mind settle from his odd trauma. He began thinking why was he acting as if he were free now?

[This is where I run out of things to type xD;;]
Rin, nodded her, eyes following him as he made his way to the door. "Night," she said, somewhat softly, and continued staring a couple minutes after he'd left.
Finally, she blinked and looked away, slowly turning on her side so her back was to the door. She pulled the sheets of her bed up around herself tightly, her head nuzzling into the pillow, and a minute or two later, she was asleep.
It wasn't long before she had curled herself into a small ball, arms hugging herself in a self comforting hug. The spirit was on a slight overdrive, wanting to work more quickly now that Rin actually seemed to be warming up to someone. To say the least, the spirit was not very happy about it.
So, Rin was yet again finding herself in that dark corner of her mind, the woman looming over her threatening, then suddenly sweeping down beside her, arms gently draped around Rin's shoulders as she began whispering into her ear. But Rin just huddled up, her physical self also curling more tightly into the ball, as she ignored the spirit.

((gaah yea...I've had a writer's block since I got out of school today...so decided to do a bit of time skipping))
Long let himself sit there in silence as he the sat himself around in various places in the room. He couldn't seem to settle his mind with no sense in telling why or what he was doing here in the first place. He was gonna get into something bigger now that the sudden show up of his brothers would arouse the entire syndicate to come after long to shock him into becoming a dog again.
Long didn't want that anymore. In fact he was enjoying his time here at Mirandal after meeting many people and Rin. It just didn't seem so boring when he was around her or his other friends he made at Mirandal. In fact, he hadn't smiled so often in his life out of sheer good faith or will. He was strifling between continuing this life, or go off in another. It was bothering him, and he had never before been so irritated by his thoughts that it played like an endless guitar rift in his mind. He glanced at the clock, it had seemed to be 5 a.m. already. Long was awake for more than 10 years, 4 months, 2 weeks and 2 days now. How he remembered this...how else could he? He was an insomniac...

[That's fine with me. xD]
Rin stirred slightly in her sleep, now with a small stuffed teddy bear in her arms. She'd pulled it out of hiding in the middle of the night, and curled up with it, holding it tightly. It'd been a gift from her father when she was young, and she clearly treasured the thing. It was a little bit roughed up, proving it'd been given a lot of love.
But now Rin slowly rolled unto her back, letting herself uncurl from the small ball. Her eyes fluttered open, staring blankly at the ceiling for a few minutes, before she pushed herself up from the bed. Though, it was more like she rolled, and then hit the ground with a small thump, landing on her knees. She used the bed to haul herself back up, and groggily made her way into the living room.
She slumped onto the couch, momentarily forgetting about the secret stuffed bear due to her sleepiness. She fixed Long with a blank stare, bit back a yawn, and then looked ath im curiously. "You're still awake?" she asked sleepily, still hugging the bear to herself.

Nex watched curiously as she made her way to the window then he stared in awe as she turned the butterfly into a lovely hair clip. It was ironic that he wanted to be with her of all people, she created so many beautiful things while he could only destroy and cause pain. He stood up and walked over to her, reaching up and gently touching the butterfly clip. "I actually have no idea," he said as he smiled down at her, fighting the temptation to frown because of the direct light.
