I still hate all of the campaigning and all of the s**t. I can't believe you guys have to put up with an entire year of campaign crap. Two months is more then I can stand. Honestly I'm voting for the one semi-major party that hasn't been given a chance yet. Maybe they will screw it up less badly then the others. Really there is no way to know unless we let them try.

On a side note... Yum! Fresh baked, home made bacon cheese bread.
Yeah, fo' show, everyone vote Nader. rofl

Eh, I don't care that much. It just gives me someone to b***h at while I see those stupid campaign things. I get to condemn them and they don't even know it.

Today was a really good day... Other than the fact that I was exhausted. Practicum is going really well, and I got to observe the kindergarden classes, to see if I could pick up on any behaviours that are either disruptive to a kids social learning or their educational learning. Apparently I did really well. And now, since I've been up for a solid 18 1/2 hours, I'm going to crash. Kindergarden kids can suck up aaaaaalll your energy. sweatdrop

I hate teenage angst and drama. Especially when it is centered on me. Apparantly there is some sort of friendship/betrayal triangle between three girls who all have or have had crushes on me, but none of them really like me at all. It is vaguely interesting watching this all play out, but I cannot help feeling objectified.

Yes, but in situations like that you might as well enjoy them. When's the next time you're going to have a bunch of women fighting over you? Let's face it, the average guy doesn't have that happen to him all the time. Lose the emotional attachment to it and it will become a good thing.

Oh, so you really are going into that field? It's not just a thing where you took one class and moved on?

You have a point. It will be interesting to see how this turns out and how long it goes on. I do so enjoy emotional attachments.

Yeah, but you could argue that emotional attachment only has the potential for disaster.

You could also argue that some people simply don't have the ability to shut off emotional attachments to people.
EDIT: Or don't know how/ don't enjoy doing so.

Yeah, you could but I think that goes into a debate of inevitability and philosophy. How much emotional attachment do you have to have to have emotional attachment? In other words, is nothing something? Inevitability would be that everyone gets emotionally attached because it could fall along the lines of human nature.

Small creatures of any species seem to be capable of sucking energy.....kittens, puppies, small children.......Perhaps that is how they exist, by sapping the energy of those around them.

Most children at any age suck energy away. Needless to say, 20 of them all day is exhausting.

Yeah, I'm really going to be a social service worker... I really do question my decision sometimes, cause just the classes can wear you out, but whatever. At least I'll be helping people, and that's really all that matters.

And I agree Soleq... The day before I observed a 1/2 split class, and I was worn out. Kindergarden kids are ten times worse though.

Well, I think it would really suck to find out you picked the wrong field and end up hating your job... But let's not hope it's going down that way.

Nah, I don't think it will. The classes wear on me because a lot of it is just talking about yourself, and that's definitely not my favourite thing to do... Plus when you have seven courses, everything is pretty wearing on you. The week overall was just overwhelming. I just need to find routine, then I think I'll be alright. Maybe not... Who knows... It's all up in the air right now. C'est la vie.
