"Of course!" Ita said frantically, not wanting to be left behind. Since he wasn't an expert at climbing trees like he knew the other cub was, he followed by taking a slightly more clumsy, but still effective, ground route. Dodging random tree branches and leaves that extended from various plants, he found himself stopping in a fairy open area. The sun shone brightly overhead, and all seemed to be silent. "HEY!!" Itazura cried, looking about frantically. Praying he wasn't lost, he turned around. "WHERE ARE YOU?!" He cursed himself then, for not knowing his friend's name.

"Phew.." Itazura said, heaving an obvious sigh of relief. It was bad luck to be lost twice in one day, afterall. He padded along a bit more, stopping once he reached the entrance of the beautiful land. "Wow..." He gasped, taking in the awesome scenery. "So..where should we go to get the best catch, do you think?"

"Sadly..no.." He said absently, bending over to look into the crystal clear water. Countless fish swam about in the water, ranging in colors from the deepest of blues to the brightest of reds. "Would you mind showing me..?" He asked the other cub, looking up at him with a look of curiousity on his face.

Itazura obeyed, sitting on the bank and watching as the other cub began to fish. He couldn't help but allow his mind to wonder, since it seemed as if he was going to be sitting there all day. "I feel kind of bad for those fish, ya know.." He said in a hushed voice, trying not to distract the leopard. "They have no idea they're about to die..."

Wandering around the jungle was tiring to Dafina. After a failed attempt at getting dinner from a bunch of vultures she wandered around a bit more until sleep had over taken her tired body.
Now she was awake and decided to find a cool drink.

choucho He laughed, "Sorry about that, I thought you needed a bath. I could smell you from here!" He was having fun joking around with her. I wonder what all of the other cubs would think about him befriending a bird. It didn't really matter to him much, it's not like they cared to get to know him.
"I still don't understand why anyone would want to eat you...you're not much of a meal", he said winking at her. "Where would you like to go?", he asked, "I'm wide open, no plans". "Go?" Msuko blinked, shaking her feathers dry again. Her little birdy brain would never think of such a thing on her own, but with the idea implanted into her mind, she hopped around gleefully. Exploring! Maybe they could go exploring.
"Are there any caves around, kree?" The little bird chirped. The trees were her home, but caves seemed rather interesting. She'd heard interesting things about caves, but had never seen one.

((Many apologies for never making a reply to Thalion's post, computer froze just as I finished typing it so I said screw it.))
Layla yawned softly, her mouth wide open but not a sound came from within. Montsho had been up for hours and had been watching the happy cub sleep. She leaned down and roughly nudged the lion, causing her to blink up at her and whilst quickly rising to her feet, her lids still heavy from the recent sleep.
"The fish we saved should be eaten before it goes bad or other animals get to it," the large leopard spoke plainly, reaching over the side of the nook and removing a fish from a hollow that had once been inhabited by squirrels. As she fished out a the second and final she turned once more to the cub, placing the smallest of the two before Layla, "always look for trees with a nook and a hollow, it will keep you safe and well fed," her speech was only paused when she was removing a particularly difficult bone. After she'd fallen silent she sliced the cubs fish into slightly smaller portions, something she'd have to teach the young one how to do herself soon enough.

After leaving from the Firekin lands, Matakas eager young face had appeared at the Mistweaver lands. She was enchanted by the spilling waterfalls and the beautiful lush foliage. She padded over the bushes to a waterfall, she was near the edge of the lands, and looked over the almighty drop. "Whoa!" She thought, gasping. It was a long way down, she had better be careful around here, she didnt think her daredevil personality would do her any good here. She found a small river that the waterfall lead from and settled down in the foliage. It was a cool atmosphere, and it seemed very jungle like. She loved every aspect of this land already, and shuddered at the thought of the long dry sand in the Firekin pride. How could they last in that environment? She remember how long it took her to find the oasis. She smiled at this beautiful scene before her and sat down, dipping a small paw in the water.

Layla's petite black body moved quickly through the thick foliage, tail barely above the drying grass. Nothing but the occassional crunch of a fallen twig gave her away, and even those were heard less and less often. The large black panther followed close behind her, clearing her throat softly whenever the young ub had grown too loud. She herself was silent as the grave, her eyes mere slits against darkness as they approached the familiar river, only a mile from a great waterfall. Neither said a word, and soon they came to a clearing some ways into the jungle, perfect stillness filled the air as the animals stiffened in the tree and bushes.

A small bee-eater, brilliant in its colors of yellow and green, sits on a small branch that has fallen near the middle of the clearing. It turns its head to look around as the entire area suddenly falls silent, chirping quietly to itself as it does so.
"Bush, Tree, Tree, Tree, Bush, Tree, Lion, Panther, uh-oh." It suddenly freezes like the rest of all the animals, trying to seem inconspicuous. Its bright feathers against the dull colors of the ground foil this attempt rather effectively. It tilts its head, eyes peering out between black and blue bands, and ponders for a brief moment. It looks at Layla and Montsho carefully, measuring the distances: between them and himself, between himself and safety.
Finally it opens it's beak and calls out to the two felines, "Hello noble cats, I'm Barinsh and as you can see much too small to be even an appetizer. If you'll just let me be off now there's a much larger animal hiding from you in that bush over there" Barinsh nods his head towards a now trembling bush off to the edge of the clearing.

Montsho narrowed her eyes a bit more as she looked up at the tiny bird and it's advice. Her gaze lingered for a moment before she looked toward the quizering bush not too far away and noded slowly, looking down at her young protege and leaning in close. Her voice deep, but unaudible to those farther than a foot or so.
"There is a large porcupine in that bush, I've given you no training on them and I'll bring it back alive so you may learn," she then remembered the bee eater not far above herself and her eyes softened a bit as she turned to stalk her prey.
Layla moved just beneath the bird and looked up, moving slowly and deliberately so as to not throw off Montsho's hunt.
"Monsho thank you," her voice was soft and her speech broken, but she gave a tiny, in anxious smile at the helpful bird.
