Yamanaki arrived at the hospital, his normally carefree face lined with worry; he suddenly seemed so much older. A medic-nin came out, retrieving Burakku from his arms, and the jounin promptly collapsed on the bench next to Fujin.
"What a day," he said quietly.

"Baku ran off, and I went looking for you. Karu..." he closed his eyes. "I made a mistake, and because of my mistake Burakku was hurt."

Sighing, he looked up into the sky. "What will happen next is we will train. I will help you and Burakku in every way I possibly can, because that is my duty as your sensei. And I will continue to protect Karu in any way I can, because that is my duty as his family." His face darkened. "Even if it means I have to protect him from himself."

The world became a blur again. The fog quivered, almost as if they were set in fast forward. The fog became smoke. The foul stench of burnt bodies and burning wood assaulted his nostrils. The clanging of swords reverberated in the distance. A leather-bound bandit was in front of him, swinging down his heavy maul. The beauty of the palace was tainted by soot and night, and the elegant fabrics were torn and or burning. A sight was seen at the corner of his eye, the maul missing and beginning another swing. A dark figure stood with a shining dagger, the daimyo was sprawling back. Burakku took off running, knowing the results only too well. The maul wrapped around his legs. He scratched the flooring in a futile attempt to break free. The black-clad figure plunged his dagger into the king. A helpless moan escaped Burakku's lips as he was subjected to seeing this tragic scene yet again, in unison with the daimyo's dying breath.

Brown eyes snapped open yet again. Pain wracked through his entire body, especially his head. His tattered robes were replaced by a hospital gown. His sword was stripped from him. Burakku looked around, dizzy and nauseous, blood shot eyes looked for his inheritance. For a brief second, a yellow-eyed figure glanced at him through the mirror, giving a sinister smirk. Before he could look at this stranger again, he vanished into the logic and safety of the mirror. A closet stood slightly open, a familiar, slightly rusted shine protruded from the darkness. He opened it with a weariness, his newly mended robes, pants, and sandals wakened from a week-long slumber. He tested his katana's weight again, admiring it a little before glancing again upon the clothes. He slipped them on, painfully reminded of the bloodied mark on his head that Karu gave him. He couldn't bring himself to hate him. Pity him was more like it. He walked out of the door, still dizzied. Doctors tried and failed to get him back to his room. He glanced at the crumpled note in his hand, reading every bit of this act of respect or love or just the desire to beat him up. He slipped it in the confines of his robe, running off.

Why?

Because he needed a second briefing.

Shikatsu appeared in the hospital with Yamanaki in his arms and some people were frightened and went to alert nin "I need one room,Yamanaki had his arm cut off and his on the verge of death" A nurse stared at Shikatsu and recognized him and led him to two rooms where he dropped off Yamanaki

Doku appeared inside the hospital, humming to himself.
