Lucifer momentarly lost it as he started to deeply chuckle. Him dainty? Oh goodness this guy shoudl be a comedain because that joke was aboslutly killer. "Then I'll wait forever, I have that long. Your just cracking jokes today, aren't you?" The idea of him being able to kill him is just grand. Maybe he shoulc crack this male's head open to let out the rest of the crazy ideas. "You could not kill me if I laid down and let you try for as long as you live, fur ball. I wll not let you have a second with her, if she is broken, it certainly is not my fault." He had not a chance to start on her yet how can he be to blame.

Again, he stepped back tugging the male with him not about to give up.
PostPosted: Mon Jul 23, 2007 9:51 pm

She doesn't. >>He pushed against lucifer again but had to go with the tug, quickly realizing that he wasn't quite as strong<< You remind me a lot of Anons brother actually. Big, stupid, and full of hot air. Do us both a favor and stop trying to be a tough guy. You're not exactly scoring brownie points with angel here, promise. She'll never be satisfied with just you.

Another step back, and another tug, he was not going to give up. It was hard not to really say what he wanted to, there was always the risk he'd scare Anon away. "And you remind me of a gutter slut who thinks hes a pimp. Do us a favor" He started in parody of what the bear had said, "and stop acting like have any right to be near Anon."

He thought about what the male said, if Anon was not satisfyed with him, she wasn't near mortal, but she'd be dead before she go through 'breaking' his heart. "Thats fine, if she decides she wants someone else, then she can go without a fuss from me." Nope, just painful bloody deaht, but no fuss.
PostPosted: Mon Jul 23, 2007 10:16 pm

>>he grunted, being pulled again against his best intentions<< Ha ha, and you were saying I was the joker here. I do. Anon is mine. You might have her for now, but she is mi- >>THUNK!<< >>sometime during that conversation, anon had forced herself out of her corner and went over to them silently. A tear running down her face, she lowered the plastic gun she had used to hit the backside of the head of her greatest fear. The fallen angel wasn't nearly as weak as she sometimes seemed. She instantly jumped back as the male fell onto one knee, the arm lucifer held above his head<< Only in my nightmares Torvil >>The girl fairly spat out the name, gripping the plastic gun so tightly her knuckles were white<<

Lucifer let go of the arm, pushing the bear to the right saying softly, "She owns herself." Well, he'll let them think that, but he knew to watch out from now on, Anon was stronger then he had expected. It was a good learning experince. Looking to her, his serious expression melting into a soft, gentle one, "Well done Anon, I knew you had it in you. We should get back home before it gets late. He should not trouble you in your dreams, either with me or in Greed's territory, he cannot harm you." With a smile, he added, "Then again I think you could probably take him by yourself." He offered her his hand, hoping to be of comfort. For his plan to work he had to as he is actiing.
PostPosted: Mon Jul 23, 2007 10:57 pm

>>She offered a timid smile to lucifer before slipping the gun into the game holstier<< Only if I have a plastic gun with me. >>Anon spoke softly, attempting a small chuckle just to realize just how deathly silent the arcade was. Everyone was staring at them. The girl lightly blushed and slowing reached back to Lucifers hand, the tips of her fingers touching just as she glanced at torvil, laying semi-conciously on the floor. Her hand flinched back to her chest and she started towards the door<< yes...lets go my angel... >>the bear softly groaned, bright green eyes fluttering closed<<

Lucifer looked patient, smiling at her and apperently accepting her withdrawal of her hand. He watched her start to walk out then looked to Trovil, speaking softly to the man, sure neither he nor Anon could hear him, he told darkly, "No, cub, mine. You've bitten off way more then you can chew."

Turning around, he walked after Anon, getting abreast of her and staying pace. A rival was unexpected, but that was something else he could deal with.
PostPosted: Tue Jul 24, 2007 9:43 pm

>>people fairly running to get out of their way, Anon softly smiled up at lucifer as they walked out of the arcade and down the street leading back to lucifers tent. She had stopped crying so that now, only a pale sheen were on her pink cheeks, dark emerald eyes focused on him<<...thanks lucifer... >>the fallen angel softly spoke, looking back infront of them<<

Lucifer walked with her, smiling inwardly, causing a scene was always fun. It ws novel to come out looking like the good guy. The act was not to be drop, he looked over to Anon and told her, "You did it, cleverly using what was at hand to face your demon and give him a bump that hopefully knocked some sense into him. I was very proud to see that strernght I knew you had come out. Know this though, I'll always stand by you, no matter what." He almost added, come hell or high water but didn't, he was hell, or at least thrived on it. For now, thngs were hard enough without that.
PostPosted: Thu Jul 26, 2007 9:34 pm

>>She shook her head quickly, lightly blushing<< I just wanted to hit him over the head with something...The gun wasn't even symbolic, just sorta there at the right time. >>a hand reached up and scrubbed at her cheeks<< He'll be back. Just like in horror movies...they'll always come back.

Lucifer tries to decide if it would be a good time to act a bit, the makes the choice to push a little bit. Lightly, he put his hand on her shoulder and told her, "I won't let him hurt you, and for as strong as I am, Greed with his missuse of power is stronger. I without my own powers back I cannot repell he man, but until I get them back, your atleast completely protected in Greed's territory. No way that overgrown cub will be allowed in there." He hadn't even foreseen a chance to try and influnce her to get his his powers back until now. Far by it for him not to use it to his full advantage.
PostPosted: Thu Jul 26, 2007 10:08 pm

>>ah...back to his fairy tale story of how he lost his powers. It still seemed too sugary sweet to be real. She gently shrugged off his hand, not wanting to be touched. She didn't want to touch ANYONE after seeing her attempted rapist again. That fear was still so fresh in her mind<< Perhaps I should just lay low for a while. Stay in my house until he leaves the vacinity...or the country.

He let her shrug away his hand, he could have held her but knew it would not serve him in the end. Instead, he nodds and says, "Do what you feel is best, but I caution you not to let him win by allowing fear of him to keep you from your life." Yeah, he thought, don't let him keep her from coming to him so he can keep working on her.

Its just better to avoid conflict. >>She reached up to lightly rub the back of her neck, exiting the little town<< I mean, I wont run from it certainly but conflict that could have been avoided justs wastes time and energy.

RP between Ru and Kieko put here until I come up with a better idea

IC: Kiku was fully grown, and for the first time, out exploring on her own. Or, at least she didn't know of anyone in the area. Raither then fly, the anglic feline chose to stool on the ground, her dark tail swaying lightly causing a slight ripple affect with her long light blue hair. Her crimsom eyes scaned with little attempt to search for danger.

She felt safe, who would harm her after all? So there was no need in her mind to be careful. With a light hum, she moved on, walking along the river with the water to one side and the trees to the other. Smiling to the sun in wind, she soaked up the beautiful day.

It was ironic that as the angelic feline scanned the territory around her for danger, a tall predator remained high above within the trees searching for some sort of victim. As he glanced around beneath him, his piercing yellow/green eyes caught site of Kiku. An instant interest was formed and the man began to grow restless. She was the one he had been searching for. She would be his morsel for the day. Prepearing himself, he narrowed his eyes and stretched his large wings above her. Impressively enough, the man remained silent all the while.

As each minute passed, Ferris became more and more eager to lunge, but as a skilled hunter, he was determined to act correctly. He would wait for the perfect moment and just as she passed by his tree and began along the side of the river, the man decided to attack.

With a single swoop, the man's wings aided him from the tree and towards the woman.

Kiku had absolutely no idea she was being stalked, much less that there was anyone in the same area as her. Nothing gave him away, the wind did not carry her any scents nor did the sound alert her to nefarious dealings around her.

Instead, her mind was on innocent airy things, such as how nice the weather was and wondering what her family was up to. Girly habits were what came to the rescue. Her hair was bugging her, getting in the way of her vision. The irritation was minor, but enough to be dealt with. A slim hand came up and pushed the strands of light blue hair to the side, it was then she caught a movement out of the corner of her eye. Turning her head fully, she had enough time to utter a scream and then leapt to the side, unfortunately, that was the side with the river, if the man didn't catch her, the water would.

The raptor's talons remained outstretched as he continued to fly through the sky and towards the woman. As he neared so quickly now, he noticed that she had spotted him. He was a fool to have not attacked earlier! Disgusted with both himself and his hunting, he adjusted his position and landed on the ground rather dashingly.

Once the man had landed and dusted himself off for a moment or two, he glanced around in curiousity. As the woman had dived out of the way, Ferris shifted his attention. Now, curious as to what had become of her, he began to scan the area around him. Being that he was part bird of prey, all of his senses were remarkable. He could see her nowhere around him, but from somewhere behind him, the sounds of the water had changed. Turning around, he finally spotted Kiku.

Kiku came clawing out of the water, sending it spraying up everywhere like white clouds suddenly released from their watery prison only to fall back. She knew how to swim, there was a mini-beach in her home after all, but this was different. There was no Naiya around, nor did she enter voluntarily.

Gasping she pulled her self out of the cool waters, everything sticking to her as if she had been dipped in pool of light blue. Everything clung to her, her very clothing covering yet not as they stuck to her body like a second skin just the curves showed off. Spitting out water she had swallowed, coughing what had made it down her throat, her crimson eyes settled on the man that had scared her.

Spreading open her wings. to help the blue feathers dry, she told him, "You really scared me, mister." Her voice wasn't angry, more confused as to why he would do something like that.

Ferris had turned in time to see Kiku climbing from the water and the male folded his arms in an irritated manner. It was as though he blamed her for ruining his potential meal. Now, with her fully aware of his presense, it would be much more difficult to attack. Keeping his gaze locked on her, however, the male remained determined.

Angered yellow/green eyes quickly melted into something else as the man watched the soaked woman climb out from the waters. Her beautiful blue hair fell over her shoulders in a haphazard manner and every inch of cloth clung to her lithe form. With the eyes of a predator, Ferris scanned her over once again as she fully pulled herself back onto the land. It was only when she stretched her wings out that he realised he was staring.

Ferris showed no remorse as Kiku attempted to dry herself. In fact, he remained completely quiet for quite some time before responding to her. For those who knew the man a bit better, the fact that he responded at all would have been surprising, "You were lucky..."

Kiku was aware he was looking at her, but couldn't grasp how that could be anything but innocent. She wasn't bothered, rather, she returned the favor, looking over the man who had scared her. He looked like a mix of earth and sky to her, the earthy tone of his clothing mixed with his coloring that resembled a bird of pray. Ignorance, not stupidity was responsible for that not to raise an alarm.

His eyes were a nice coloring, so intense, and to them she smiled. Finishing brushing as much off the water off as she could, she naively responded to his comment, "I was, I could have jumped on a pile of cactus or off a cliff. Who are you, mister stunning eyes?" It also accrued to her to wonder what he had been doing, so she asked, "Were you trying to startle me?" Surly it was an accident, there was no reason in her mind for it to be anything but that.

Feeling the woman's eyes graze over him caused the man to only smirk. Of course she would look over him. Ferris felt that he was an incredible site to see. He was part horse and part hawk, sharing only the best of both creatures. By temperment, he was certainly a raptor, both stealthy and cunning. Hidden within him might have been some more gentler aspects, but those parts of him had never been witnessed by anyone.

Startled by the innocence of the woman before him, Ferris could not help but lift a brow in curiousity. Surely the woman had understood what the man had meant to do with her. A hunger welled within him and she seemed an easy target. Lifting a muscled hand to run it through his long hair, the man released a deep sigh. Perhaps it would not upset his schedule to speak with her for a brief moment. Or perhaps he was only persuaded by the fact that she referred to him as "stunning eyes". A compliment always went so far with Ferris.

Recrossing his arms and walking around Kiku, the man continued to look her over. She appeared a perfect female specimen. Fragile and appealing to the eye. It was a shame she seemed to lack proper intelligence to keep Ferris interested. Her wings truly interested the man as it was something they shared in common. Clearing his throat, he began to lie, "No. You were merely in the way as I lept from the tree.." He rolled his own eyes as he spoke, but felt it would be wisest to simply avoid the subject any further. Afterall, it was a failure on his part.

Kiku was starting to dry a bit, thankful for the warm weather else she might be looking at getting sick. Rather then worrying about it, she kept her crimson eyes on her new ‘friend’ as she saw him. The smirk, which she just saw was his way of smiling, was answered with a warm smile.

She flapped her wings to try any help dry them, the result caused her to giggle. Light reflected of the water and caused many little rainbows to appear. The, as evidence by the giggle, delighted her. This was not innocents she was faking, merely who she truly was. Seeing his eyebrow raise, she tilted her head to the side in silent wonderings of what had caused it. She nearly shivered, the action caused her long hair to slide along her back, ceasing its covering of her back all the way to her knees as if the hair were water, flowing to the side all together.

That happened just before he started walking around her, she did not think anything of it. Her eyes naturally followed him, not because she was worried he might do something, but because she saw it as rude not to keep her eyes on the person she was speaking with. The rest of her body, however, did not move, where she was called the sun just right so she had to stay rooted.

Innocent as she may be, the blue clad angelic feline was not unobservant, at least not very much so. She saw him roll his eyes, that cue made her wonder about what he had said before it. With a smile still in place she comments, "You must be deadly in hide-in-go-seek, if you played it. I didn’t hear a sound, My finding skills are nothing to your stealth" The young woman had no idea how ironic her statement was. Still, rather then dwell she went on saying, "My name I Kiku, Its wonderful to meet you." Ah how close meet and eat sound and how far from thinking that he might mean her any harm her thoughts were.

Ferris, still somewhat disbelieving how gullible this young woman was, couldn't help but raise his brow once again. So easy could he continue to hunt her, without her even knowing. As the two continued to speak, however, the hippogriff was losing appetite. The loss of the hunt had wounded his pride slightly, but he would recover with time.

As their short conversation died out, Ferris simply watched the female, awaiting her next word. With a shake of her head, she sent water droplets off in every direction. Not an incredible fan of water, Ferris was sure to take a few steps back until she was done. As she giggled, his brow remained raised. How could someone be so easily amused? With his arms crossed, the male simply huffed, growing more bored by the moment.

As Kiku mentioned hide-and-seek, the man simply snickered, "Dare I ask your age?" He managed to say, his voice filled with a sort of pride. He hadn't played childrens games for as long as he could remember. As a young child, he had his moments with his siblings, but it wasn't long after that his parents allowed them to leave the nest and live their lives on their own. A life of solitude had certainly jaded the man.

Once she had introduced herself, he offered his name in return. It would be the least he could do. "Ferris."

Kiku saw him move away when the water flew, it only amused her more but it was not something she'd use against him. Her smile did go down when she saw he wasn't as amused. Not everyone could enjoy the smiple things in life, how sad.

It did elate her that she got a snicker out of him. She raised her own eyebrow when he asked about her age. Raising her chin a bit she told him, "I am an adult." Yep, she was all grown up, and happy to be so.

A bird sang, and she looked to it, her crimson eyes showing sharpness that she had not displayed before. When she found the bird, she smiled and looked back to her 'firend' giving him a fresh happy smile as she says, "Thats a nice name, Ferris." Through a life of being protected, she had never grown hard or jaded, nor had she a need to grow up before she was ready.

Remaining with quite the emotionless expression, Ferris began to wonder what it was that kept in in Kiku's company. Thus far he found her incredibly unintelligent and somewhat bothersome. She was naive and childlike and though he had lost his appetite, he felt the only good use of her would be dinner. Turning away and looking off towards the tree he had come from, he debated leaving her company.

When Kiku answered about his age, Ferris snickered again, though this time much colder than before. The male understood that Kiku was an adult. In fact, that was very likely the reason he remained in her company. A site of a soaked beauty, helpless on the shore was not something to take lightly. Ferris viewed her as prey, weak, defenseless and appealing.

Though jaded and unused to company, Ferris would never complain of his life. He was content with how he lived and would not ask for anything otherwise. He never blamed his parents for parting with him so soon and never seeked out his siblings. In fact, Ferris knew exactly where each of his families' territories lied, but visiting was not something they would do.

"If you're an adult, why is it that you do not act accordingly?" Not attached to Kiku at all, Ferris was somewhat blunt about his words. True, he softened the story of the attack, but it was not for Kiku's safety, but merely to test her trust in his words.

Her eyes went to the tree, searching for whatever it was that he was looking at. The snicker brought her eyes back to Ferris, attentively looking at the male wondering what she had said but happy that he was apperently amused.

She was not jaded, and in a lot of ways, she was defenceless. Sure she had and idea of how to fight, just basic stuff, but she stood little chance against someone that really wanted to hurt her.

The question was caught her confused and she even titled her head more to the side. It was clear she wondered if she should be insulted, but decided not to and answered, "I do act like an adult, how do I not?" She thought it was a given, she was grown but happier then most. Why not be happy, she was safe, well cared for and able to go where she wanted to. Life was nice to her.

Ferris, almost bothered that Kiku didn't take offense, turned to look at her now, expression of confusion on his face. "In what ways do you act like an adult?" He threw the question directly back at her. To him, her question was foolish. It seemed far too clear that she had much more growing up to do before she was an "adult".

As foolish as it was, the hippogriff took a moment to answer it. With both his arms unfolded and his personality becoming more heated as he spoke, he perceded to explain just what it was about her that seemed childish. "Playing around in puddles? Giggling as drops of water fly off of you? Did you look to see if you were bothering anyone around you? How trusting you are. As an adult, you should know that not all people are trustworthy."

Ferris, realising that he was arguing with a child, became flustered and his cheeks turned light pink. Was he not as much at fault to attack her, when she would not comprehend his reasoning? To her, Ferris likely appeared like an crochety old man.

Kiku was beginning to wonder if she was being attacked. Lightly, she crossed her slim arms under her full bosom. The act pulled a bit on the cloths, causing them to so slide a bit up her body and likewise pulled down a bit at her top.

She started to form an answer when he started answering himself. She showed her inner spark by her rebuttal, "The drops of water created rainbows when the sunlight hit them as they fell. I was neat. I did not think anyone would be bothered by something like that." She quickly settled down, telling herself she was being rude and followed that up by calmly telling him, "I am not worried, no one would hurt him, so why not? My Daddy is an angel an my Momma is also protective. They won't let anyone harm me." She was completely convinced that her Daddy would come to her rescue if anyone wanted to harm her. She also had her twin brother and mother, they would never allow anything to happen to her.

She tried to make him understand, "There is no reason to be angry or suspicious of the world, there is too much light to be scared of the darkness." Again she smiled, her ear flicking to the side then back again.

Ferris' eyes were certainly interested in whatever her shirt was doing. As she folded her arms, the raptor watched, almost mesmorised by her actions. Shaking his head quickly, the man folded his arms once again and let out a huff. He was acting foolish to pay so much mind to her.

As the hippogriff was told that the girl's father was an angel, he only smirked. Where was he when the man was lunging from the tree? It was true that he had failed his hunt, but the girl's father was nowhere to be in site. Perhaps he merely assumed she would keep herself protected. Still grinning, Ferris ignored whatever frustration he might have caused Kiku. He was enjoying himself, despite his acting somewhat immature in the process.

"Too much light in the world?" Ferris' brow went up again when he heard this. This woman was unbelievable! What type of world did she believe she was living in? Every day there was some type of hunt resulting in the death of someone and certainly a hunt was not the only way someone would die in the world. Perhaps her angelic father convinced her the world was kind.

Kiku thought nothing of how he was acting, not the least bit concerned. Her wings came out more and flapped lightly again, then she shook them on her back. This time, considerate of others, she was careful not to send the water flying. Rather silly that the man be afraid of water, but she kept that thought to herself.

Working a bit with her soft blue hair, she responded to the man with a nod and a bright smile, "Certainly, my Daddy and the others are proof of that. The world is a good place." She fully believed that, and to her, it was because of her Father and his friends that it was so. Protected and loved, she grew up seeing the world as a great place, horrors never passing her crimson eyes.

When Kiku began to send the water from her wings everywhere, she was careful not to get him and this pleased Ferris. Having been prepared to step farther away from her, the man was glad to see that she was being careful. In a quiet and almost hesitant tone, he finally said something genuinely kind to her, "Thanks.." Though he wouldn't say it aloud to anyone, Ferris couldn't swim and for that reason had a fear of the water.

Hearing Kiku speak so fondly of her family, Ferris wondered for a moment what life would have been like if his own mother and father didn't simply kick him and his brothers from the nest. He wondered for a moment if it would be wise to visit his siblings, but then quickly changed his mind when he realised that they had never visited as well. Again, somewhat surprising himself, Ferris found himself being honest again, "I was never very close to my family.. We were always sort of... to ourselves."

Kiku smile even more, her pearly white teeth showing in the happy expression. He didn't need to thank her, but she still rewarded it with more of a smile. When you grow up with a beach in your house and have a merchild for a friend, swimming is a must. To her, it was natural and everyone knew how to do it. However, sensitive to others, she didn't ask about why he didn't like water, instead, she was glad to know it so she didn't upset him.

She was very attentive to him when he spoke, her wet but drying ears flickering to catch his words and dispel the droplets water. She nearly frowned, commenting, "It must have been so lonely." Her voice was soft as she tired to comprehend how that must of felt like. She had always had others around her, the idea of being alone was foreign to her. "Frineds can become a second family, through, and I'll be your friend so you don't have to be alone." She would be delighted to make a new friend, and since she didn't know his thoughts or reasons for his actions, she had no reason not to think of him as a friend. Friends were great, and even, some times became more. Her mother had told her how her father and she used to be friends before they slowly became something more. It all started by dropping a book on her fathers head, she recalled. The romantic she was, she imagined much the same for herself.

Slightly angered by the fact that Kiku was pitying him, Ferris adjusted his posture and stood taller, which his chest slightly puffed out. Her comforting words were a stab to his pride and made him feel less of a man and even more so, less of a hunter. He was not sure what made him speak of his past to the stranger, but as he looked over her once more, he felt ashamed of his former plan. She was naive and though he treated her poorly, she continued to offer kind words and smile on. Ferris was still uncertain if Kiku was sincerely that friendly or perhaps not quite all there. Whatever the case, he knew now that she was undeserving of that type of treatment and because it was all that Ferris knew, he understood that he needed to leave.

Looking off and away from the beautiful woman before him, Ferris blinked slowly and then spoke. "It was.. nice.. meeting you, Kiku, but I must leave now."

Kiku had been quietly waiting, enjoying the day around her and meeting her new friend. When he looked away, she turned her crimson gaze out in the same direction curious if something was coming or of interest there. However, hearing he was leaving, her smile faded. He was leaving so soon?

“It was really nice meeting you as well, Ferris, I am sorry to see you leave soon." Pouting lightly she finished talking by adding, "I hope to see you again soon." That was said sincerely, making friends was important to her and she wanted to keep them.

Ferris nodded and offered a shrug. He tried not to show that meeting Kiku had actually been something he enjoyed. It was pleasant to share a conversation with someone, despite how childish they might be. Kiku had many endearing qualities and already she slightly grew on the griffon. Trying to ignore the friendship that was already clearly there, the griffon spread his winds and took off. He hoped to avoid the female and act as though they never met. Clearly she had formed a weakness within him and this was not excusable.

As the weeks passed, however, his weakness grew. The image of Kiku burned in his mind and her smile and childish laugh echoed in his mind. Why had she been so patient with him? Surely she did not feel as though he was the best person to make a friend. Since the two had met, he hadn't found another to put up with his pompous attitude and surely no one else would claim to be his friend. Growling lightly to himself, Ferris, again, found himself on the prowl.

IC: Kiku had thought about her friend and spent part of every day trying to find him again. After having no luck on the ground, she had decided to spend the day in the air. Flapping her light blue wings, her light body was quickly air bourn her voluptuous blue robes helped to keep her warm while she was flying low in the air. The loose fabric molded to her well endowed lithe figure as the wind caressed and hugged her whole body.

Her black spotted ears were close to her head but not out of anger but because the wind bothered them. Similarly, her black spotted soft tail was clinging close to her leg but not out of fear. Deep crimson eyes searched for her friend or new ones but the gaze was not that of a sharp hunter.

Having become fed up with his foolish desires, the man spread out his massive wings and took to the sky. The cool air blowing through his feathers was always a refreshing way to clear his mind. To his shock, however, he spotted the very woman he was trying to avoid.

During their first meeting, Ferris almost didn't notice her wings, but now they stood out dramatically. Like her robes, they were a pale blue and having become slightly mesmerised, Ferris' body began to drop. Awkwardly, the man regained himself and quickly turned his form in an attempt to escape. Though he had not yet made a sound, there was only a miniscule chance that she had not spotted him already.

Though he was very out of characterly fleeing the situation, he couldn't help but hope that Kiku spoke up before he had the chance. A part of him longed for that smile.

Kiku had stopped searching and was starting to play in the air. One of her favorite activities was what she called air dancing, sweeping up to do a complete flip, she was gracefully letting a the warm thermal roll her over. Looking upside down as she was on her way to finish the dive, she spoted the me and smiled waving to him. Loosing the support of the wind she started to drop like a rock and had to quickly correct herself.

Falling only a little ways, she turned her body and used her wings to catch the first bit of supportive air she could find, which delicat thrust of her wings, she corrected her self and sped her way towards the man. His wings and earthy colors made him stand out in the sky, not that she needed help. Joyously she called out, "Hello, Ferris!" With another flip in the air, her bright smile naturally bloomed even more.

She got to where she was about equal with him in the air so she could look him in the eyes easily. It really was neat how he had two different colored eyes, she had never seen that before. Then again, there was little that was not neat about her friend.

Ferris couldn't help but glance back after he began to leave. Looking over Kiku once more, he spotted her wave and he realised that there was no use in leaving now. She knew that he was there and now she was... falling? Impulsively, Ferris made it to her side in order to grab ahold of her. Kiku had managed to correct herself, but Ferris was already beneath her, arms stretched out, prepared to catch her. The male was fairly good at keeping himself in fight, even without straining his wings. Having been born of very strong parents, he took pride in his strong wings.

The two missed one another and as Ferris remained close to Kiku, she flipped away and spoke in her typically sweet voice. Ferris couldn't help but chuckle lightly to himself. How foolish he had been behaving before her. He was then thankful that she did not see him the way others might. Those who judged him, rightfully he felt, would have quickly spoke of his silly mannerisms.

Flying closer to her, Ferris found himself observing as the female neared him. She seemed to get closer and closer and before he was too uncomfortable, she stopped. What is she doing? He thought.

Kiku smiled brightly still, keeping her comfortable closeness to her friend as she declared honestly, "It’s so wonderful to see you again, Farris, I have missed you!" Her crimson eyes shone brightly; delight giving them their own light.

The wind around them, including the stronger gusts that were created by their wings, moved her loose robes around, either bellowing in front of her, or molding along her figure. She, of course, paid no attention to what her clothes were doing; instead, her friend had all her attention.

With genteel enthusiasm she commented, "Is flying not one of the greatest things there are? No gravity to stop you from swimming in the air!" She often times felt so bad for her mother. Being a pure black panther, her momma did not have wings and could not truly enjoy the freedom of the air. True, she had water and her father took her momma flying but it just wasn't quite the same thing as being able to fly under your own power.

The man was shamed to feel a warmth come to his cheeks as Kiku spoke, beaming before him. Ferris understood that she was part angel, but he swore he could feel a sort of happiness come over him when she was around. It must have certainly been an affect of the presense of an angel! Disgusted with himself, the griffon flapped his wings strongly and backed off a few feet. "

It is nice to see you too.." he answered her. He was shocked he was even continueing conversation, but he couldn't leave her side. Perhaps Kiku was a succubus and had been using her dark magic to lure him to her? Looking her over, Ferris realised he was only trying to reach as far as he could to justify his behavior. Having known himself longer than anyone else, he couldn't explain himself. Never had the man let his guard so down before.

Backing up quite a bit more, Ferris couldn't help but notice as the wind had Kiku's thin robes clinging tightly to her form. The man's cheeks burned brighter and he could slowly feel a strain in his wings. His concentration was elsewhere and soon he would need to land. What had she done to him? Gritting his teeth within a closed mouth, the man attempted to revert back to his cold self. Couldn't he simply leave her at that very moment? What did he care if he bothered her? Kiku was probably too stupid to realise anything anyways! He felt awful for thinking that.

Kiku tried to keep the distance he seemed comfortable with but she naturally gravitated towards people rather then away. As he told her that he was also glad to see her, she seemed to burst with renewed light fueled by happiness. It was similar to a child being taken to a candy store then actually getting something as well.

Clasping her hands in front of her, she delight flew in place. Observing the man was a lot of fun, the sun complimented him so well reminding her more of the comparison she made of him being like earth. With complete innocents with no alter motives she commented, "You know, the sun really compliments you, makes you look even more handsome." The smile was still there and she inclined her head slightly, inwardly agreeing with her comment.

Getting an idea, she giggled and flew closer, lightly she touched his shoulder then back peddled before taking off calling out with her sweet voice, challenge filled voice, "Tag, your it, betcha can't catch me!" She then started off, confident her new friend would like to play.

Ferris could tell that Kiku became pleased with his answer and for some reason, this also pleased him. The man's heart was beginning to race and his wings were straining even more as he concentrated so hard on keeping strict facial expressions and cooling his warming cheeks. He had only seen her once, after all! Why would he become so worried about seeing her once more?

It was with her compliment and light touch, that Ferris' could no longer control his reddening and began to plummet towards the earth. He was not falling, but flying incredibly quickly with his wings held tightly to his side. As she flew down before him, the man, though trying to conceal his blush, managed to grab ahold of her tail (though as gentle as possible).

Once he had made sure he no longer had to be the one to chase, he began towards the earth in order to land. Before out of earshot, however, he managed to scream, "Catch me if you can!" which was, in the longest time he could remember, the most childish thing he had ever said. It was the only way in which he could cleverly hide his current state and keep Kiku by his side. Why was he still fretting if she was there?

Kiku had no clue she was having such an effect on him, it was not done on purpose. Frankly, she wouldn't have a clue what to do if she had known. The feathers helped hide the blush from her point of view what she was sure she saw, she never thought more into it.

The game delighted her, even when she felt the hand on her tail she gave nothing but a surprised squeal followed by laughter. He had caught her, and wonderfully, was still playing! She dived after him, her own wings held close to her body; "I'll get you! Heheha!" she called out, air and light composing her voice as she did.

Trying to keep her hands close to her body, she thought of how to finally catch him before she got the idea. Pulling up just a bit, she waited until he was closer to land, hoping he would try to land. That would give her the moment and she'd use it, catching him with a hug, probably from behind but it didn't matter to her the idea was wonderful in the planning stage. As the warm air seemed to be on her side, though feeling like they were trying to claim the clothes off her body, she felt confident and ready to get her plan in action, it all depended on how he moved.

Ferris, still in absolute disbelief at his behavior, continued to plummet towards the earth. He enjoyed the cold air and soon, his glowing cheeks faded to their normal hue. He released a deep breath as he neared the ground. As Kiku followed close behind, the griffon could hear the woman giggling to herself and couldn't help but release a deep chuckle.

The ground was approaching quick and now the earth and foliage below him was clear. Out stretching his wings now, Ferris was close to landing. He would allow himself to float softly to the ground in order to regain his composure. As he outstretched his wings, he noticed Kiku coming close. Ferris was uncertain of her plan, but her short distance away had him somewhat uncomfortable.

Only a few feet away, Ferris hoped to land gracefully...

She never gave up her plan, and the more it looked like she was right, the happier she was. As he started to land, she put her idea into action. Spreading her arms out, she smiled brightly as she went just fast enough to get where she needed to be. She reached forward and gently put her two arms around him.

Unfortunately she was moving a bit too fast and even with her back flying, she was going to bump into him, but at least she caught him in a hug! "Gotcha!" She called out joyously assured of her 'victory'.

Ferris was beginning to land and his right foot was already touching the ground when he felt Kiku's arms around him. As she wrapped him in the hug, he let out an irked exclamation. She had caught him completely off guard. While he had been preparing to land, he forgot to think of just how close she might have been to him. The awkward angle he was left at and the force from Kiku's body coming behind him, sent the man, and woman attached, sprawling forward.

Extending his thick wings even wider, Ferris was able to halt what could have been a very unpleasant faceplant. Once stopped inches above the ground, he released a breath and found the two of them finally fall. It was less painful than it could have been, but still a large blow on his ego.

His cheeks were bright red again and he couldn't even think of what to say.

Kiku giggled happily and held him closely in a friendly hug long after they had landed. Sure, it wasn't the easist landing but she was still having fun. Finally, she let go and quickly got off his back.

Crimson eyes aglow, she turned and reached her hand out to help him up, straightening up her robes with the other, "Sorry about that, I didn't mean to make us fall." She was still smiling still that tone of laughter.

However, with real and honest concern, she asked him, "You didn't get hurt did you?" she didn't mean to hurt her new friend and was concerend.

Ferris had been so shocked that Kiku grabbed him, it did not surprise him in the least when she remained latched on. Cocking a brow and attempting to pry himself away, he was thankful when she climbed off of him. It did not take the griffon long to stand, dust himself off and regain his typical pompous expression. The horrible landing was more than just a mess up, but a huge reminder of how he was acting and how he truly was.

The tall man ignored Kiku's outstretched hand and almost frowned. He was feeling incredibly small and though he knew he couldn't take off immedietly or run, a part of him wished that he could. "I am fine.." He said almost coldly, still hurt that he looked so much like a fool. And in a completely different tone, he slowly added, "..I would hope that my landing did not hurt you.."

In Kiku's questioning, Ferris forgot about himself and now worried that perhaps she had hurt herself. He was a horrible man to not ask her before!

Kiku recognized the change in tone and tilted her head to the right, her eyebrows knitted together slightly as she wondered about it. However, when he asked about her, she answered her in her same light tone, "I am fine, not hurt at all." She also complimented with what to her was a big one, "Your comfy, nice to hug, must be because you are so strong." He was nice to hug, not that she had found a single person who was not. She never looked away from him as she stood close, her hands clasped innocently in front of her.
