RP In Leena's Realm
Cassi Meets Lestos
::Cassandra was in the forest alone. She had been hurt by someone, and held her wrist up to examine it closely. Hmph! It wasn't her fault that some people just couldn't handle her. Standing up, she came to decide sitting around here was just bringing down her mood. So she made her way over to a nearby river to get herself a drink.::
Shirtless and still slightly damp, the demonic canine was dozing lightly beside the river with his arms stretched out behind his head and his long silver tipped hair splayed out on the ground around him while his arms being up made his already long muscled torso look even longer. Every few seconds his ear would twitch and his bandage covered arms would move slightly.
As Cassandra came to the side of the river, those green eyes grew wide as she scanned and spotted the male laid out. That hair... it begged! NO COMMANDED her to play with it. The bengal female moved over to the river, and reached down with her good hand into the water to get some water to her lips but those green eyes were focused on that hair. Maybe she should pay attention to what the hair was attached to. Slowly she managed to pull away from the hair to figure it came from. He was not hard on the eyes at all! After she got a few handfuls of water, she walked over slowly to where he laid and just looked at him with a small smile on her red painted lips. He was cute to be sleeping out in the open like that.
The sound of someone walking next to the river and drinking woke him from his light nap and he laid there with his eyes closed until she stood over him then opened his vivid orange eyes and looked at her silently with a slight raised eyebrow. Unconsciously chewing on his lip ring.
When his eyes opened Cassandra stared at him and smiled brightly. "Wow aren't you gorgeous!" She shook her head. "First I just adored your hair, but those eyes are captivating!" She took a step back and smiled at him. "Good morning." Her smile never left her face, only becoming more warm.
Lestos blinked slightly, what a different personality than what her appearance betrayed. Closing his eyes for a moment to stretch his arms up revealing the flame like black tattoo's on his right arm he lifted his torso up with his bandaged left arm while scratching at the wing tattoo's on his hips. "good morning" he answered in his own rich voice.
Wow, even his voice caught her attention. This was rather rare. In a swift graceful motion, Cassandra was down kneeling beside him, her tail swaying behind her with excitement, green hues glittering with hope as she clamped her hands together. "Can I play with your hair?" She sounded so excited. It was apparently though that she had forgotten her wrist injury and winced, intaking breath sharply as she released her one hand from the other.
Lestos blinked at her excitement. He had been able to smell blood faintly in the air before but not it hit him square in the face. "only if you let me bandage your wrist first, I would rather not have someones blood color my hair" he said looking at her wrist
Cassandra blushed lightly. "You smelled that huh?" Her voice grew soft. "Sorry about that." She reached with her good hand to pull away her fingerless glove that had grown red around her wrist. As she pulled it away, it was amazing what was underneath. Large finger marks had broken her skin around her wrist. It was apparent someone had gripped her extremely hard with incredible force. However she didn't seem to mind as she smiled at him. "Do you mind what I do with your hair?" She seemed so happy about the idea.
Holding out his hand for her to place her wrist into he began unwrapping the bandages from his own arm. The only thing beneath it were ragged scars. "I don't mind what you do as long as you don't make a fool of me and as long as when I leave your company it is the same as it is right now"
She slowly gave over her wrist, eyes darting to the bandages he was taking off. "Thank you." She wasn't used to this kindness and now she was worried in her heart he would do something later. "Well what do you call being made a fool? Everyone has their own versions of that. I will return your hair though." Without a single thought, her other hand reached out, her fingertips barely touching his arm that had been free to exposure. "Seems you have lived much of life and it wasn't always kind to you."
With a surprisingly gentle touch the boy began wrapping the clean bandages around her wrist firmly. Glancing up he shrugged "no bows, anything else I don't mind to terribly" he commented before glancing down at the touch to his scarred arm "no, I just have a temper, an attitude and a little brother who gets into a lot of trouble" he admitted before finishing up her bandage
She was prepared to be roughly handled but looked at him in shock green eyes upon his face as she was handled with gentle care. Cassandra was so moved, she spoke as if stunned, "I'm Cassandra...." She couldn't believe such a sweet nature laid behind a gorgeous face. She was prepared for the worst and only was being proven wrong every moment that went by. She shook her head a little bit before smiling at him. "I hate bows myself so no worries about that." Her eyes blinked and she looked at him with a smile. "You have a little brother? I have a little sister! But I can't believe how much trouble your brother helps you find."
Lestos could tell how shocked she was by her voice and let a small smile creep over his lips that were hidden by his bangs at the second. "good that you hate bows, and you have a younger sister?" with that he looked up at her with his same emotionless look "what is she like, and he doesn't mean to, he is just very easily picked on by anyone, and his shirt draws attention him"
Cassandra shook her head and sighed. "She's a sweet girl, but very naive. I love her so I watch after her but I wish she would try to live her own life and not so much what everyone else wants of her." She looked at him and blinked. "Sounds like he wears interesting things." She smiled gently. "You sound like a much better older sibling to him then I am to mine." When she was free to, she set down her bloody glove and smiled at him. "Comfortable?" She didn't want him uncomfy and moving around while she was playing with his hair.
Moving so his legs were crossed and he leaned back slightly and rested both of his hands on the ground behind him "now I am" he said with a slight nod. Hearing her comment on the age difference Lestos laughed alightly "he is almost 18, I am 20"
Cassandra looked at him and slightly laughed at herself shaking her head. "My, here I am bothering you and I'm practically an old lady in comparison." She got up and shifted so that she was behind him. Her fingers began to run themselves through his locks to get a feel. "Well I hope people are not too mean to your brother. Are you two a like?"
Lestos chuckled ever so slightly at her question of if him and his brother were alike. "first off, how old are you? Second, no, we are honestly nothing alike, he is sickly, weak willed, actually wears shirts, has angel wings tattoo'd on his hips to contradict my bat wings, has baby blue eyes and short fiery orange hair and a pink ribbon around his neck. He is an angelic canine, while I am a demonic canine, we have different fathers"
Cassandra's tone took a very playful ring. "I'm only a mere 26." She giggled. "I know its old but there is no use fighting something I can't avoid." She looked at the back of his head with a few blinks. The bengal never heard of someone so open about having different parents like that. It didn't seem to bother him though so she shrugged it off as her fingers began to part his hair. She just HAD to braid it. "You are demonic? Rather kind to be demonic. I take it your brother and you are close despite your differences?"
Lestos let out another very small chuckle "twenty six is not old Cassandra" his voice took a purring quality as she began playing with his hair. "Yes, i'm demonic, and you wouldn't say that if you were at all on my bad side" a slightly dark look came over his face that she couldn't see as he bared his fangs. "If you ever saw me fight you wouldn't doubt me being demonic, but yes my brother and I are close"
The bengal smiled in such a manner at his purrish tone. It made her happy to bring someone any kind of pleasure. she was careful to take his long locks and began to weave them with each other. She had left two long strains in the front. Cassandra grinned at his words. She leaned to whisper in a low voice. "I am always curious to see all sides of everyone I meet but not to stay on any one side particularly." She then smiled as she leaned back to where she had been originally. "That is a comforting thought to know you'll always have someone out there who cares for who you are."
A small smirk came across Lestos's lips "if you stick around long enough you may just see that side, I don't exactly find it easy to stay on anyones good side" he admitted with a small chuckle. A stray thought brushed his mind making him glad that she had left his bangs alone.
Cassandra laughed and shook her head. "It is nearly impossible to get on my bad side. Even the one who hurt my wrist I have no ill will to." She smiled brightly. When she had finished the end of his hair, she set it down carefully against his back, running her fingertips down the braid and in turn, his back, to make sure it was alright. She then reached out and pulled the one long piece she left in the front, and brought it around. As she had come forward to grab that long piece she spoke in a low voice, "I just hope I don't stay on your bad side, even though I would love to see some of that demonic nature."
Lestos smirked again. He had his ways of getting onto bad sides if he REALLY wanted to, however this girl seemed to have seen enough of someones darker side for a while with her injured wrist. He had been able to tell what she was doing to his hair from the moment she started so it didn't surprise him to feel a braid laid on his back. He was curious to her intentions with the long piece. "Let someone else get on my bad side another time, I do not feel like being angry today. You will see my anger in due time if you continue contact with me."
Cassandra leaned forward to grab the second long piece and spoke softly to him as she had done so. "Well, to continue contact, I need to know what I call you." She smiled at him though he couldn't see it as she took the two pieces and weaved it in and out around the braid. it created a new texture and surprisingly it held it together. "Today I take it you are trying to relax some. Is that what brought you to the river?"
Lestos hadn't even realized that he hadn't told the girl his name "Ah, my name is Lestos" he answered and rolled his tense shoulders slightly. "Today yes I am trying to relax" with that he closed his eyes while she finished playing with his hair
"Lestos.. it is a pleasure to meet you." She finished up his hair and saw him roll his shoulders. "All done. Would you like a back rub?" Cassandra just couldn't help herself. Despite how heartless she could be, the bengal didn't like seeing men uncomfortable in the slightest physically. "I usually do back massages but unfortunately that can't happen for a little bit so all I can offer is a rub."
Lestos shook his head at the offer "no thank you, maybe another time" he said before glancing at her over his shoulder "so what did you do for someone to do that to your wrist?" he asked curiously.
Cassandra giggled in a rather sinister manner for a moment before she moved away from his back and more to his side to sit with her legs to her side, leaning on her good wrist. "I was trying to get to know my sister's new love interest. He didn't care for me to touch him." She shrugged, smiling. "Things may happen between me and my sister. However, I am protective over her, and if this the price I pay to ensure her safety, its nothing to me." She glanced over to him curiously. "Is your brother nearby or is today your alone time?"
A smile perked Lestos's lips at the sound of her laugh. He listened intently to her story before nodding "I am the same way over my brother, obviously" he said holding up his mangled arm for a moment. "just so you know, usually no one is allowed to see my arm" he said before flopping back onto his back and hiding it behind his head. "today I am alone, as I have been for quite some time, he is staying with another."
Cassandra smiled at him when he mentioned about not everyone seeing his arm. "I am honored." It was something she had picked up on. However, she didn't want to say anything to scare him off. When he flopped onto his back, Cassandra turned to face him, green eyes looking down at him with a small hint of gentleness. "I'm surprised you would be alone this long. Has your brother found someone who he has an interest for?"
Lestos looked up and watched her as her own green eyes stayed on him. "I don't mind being alone, and he isn't interested in the person romantically, simply making friends for once."
Cassandra smiled at him. "I'm glad to hear that. Too many I've met get bothered by being alone." She looked away. "That is good for him from what you've told me of him." She glanced back and grinned. "So what do you do when you are not relaxing?"
Lestos nodded along with her opinion "It is pleasant enough being with someone, but every person should spend some time alone." With her further questions Lestos began chewing on his lip ring again. "depends on the day, I don't like regularity"
Cassandra smiled at him and gave a nod in agreement to his words. When he chewed on his lip ring, the bengal turned her face away. "Did you have a busy night or early morning since I found you napping?" However, little did he know she was really wondering more about that lip ring and how it would be to kiss someone with one.
Lestos shrugged "I don't actually sleep much during the night" he said before opening his eyes once again.
"Nocturnal?" Despite how many questions she was shooting back at him, her cheeks got pink as she realized her mind was off somewhere else in a place it shouldn't have gone. She grabbed her fingerless glove that she had left behind and stood up moving to the banks to wash it out of the blood.
Lestos nodded as he looked at her noting the pink in her cheeks "would you like me to stop chewing on my lip ring?" he asked sitting up to watch her going to the river
Cassandra laughed and looked over her shoulder at him, red hair hiding away half her face that had gotten redder at the thought he caught her mind. "I have no idea where that came from. Why do you ask?" However the way she went back to working on rubbing the blood free from her garb.
Lestos let out a chuckle "I'm more observant than most, the pink started when I started chewing, besides, i'm a bit used to the reaction"
Cassandra laughed again, "You caught me but I don't think you caught exactly where my mind went." She looked back and winked at him. She then smiled at him brightly. "You get that reaction a lot?" That almost sounded strange to her that he would be expecting it.
Another laugh escaped the boy "I'm A demonic tough guy who doesn't wear shirts and has a lip piercing, a belly button piercing, and long hair, yes I get it a lot"
Cassandra laughed and smiled as she turned back to him holding her wet glove in her hand, ringing it out. "Well I can tell you this much: your most impressive feature to me are not your piercing, or your outfit choices. And to me, I don't know how tough you really are." She slipped on her dampen glove. "Do you live around these parts?"
Lestos chuckled "Yes I know, but me chewing on my lip ring sparked a blush, and no, I don't technically live anywhere."
Cassandra laughed and shook her head. "Now now, don't tempt me to try and make you blush." She winked at him and grinned. She then sighed. "Seems we are both strangers to this land then."
A slight smirk creeped across the boys lips "it is not an easy task to make me blush" he commented before stretching out on the ground once more. "seems so"
The bengal giggled and came to lounge beside him, green eyes staring at him with a shining playful look. "Just as you have a darker side, I have my own nature unknown to you. Do not tempt me." She then sighed and looked at the surroundings. "Have you eaten?" She spoke to him as her eyes scanned for something it seemed
Lestos shook his head "I'm not particularly hungry just yet considering on a normal day I am still usually asleep" he said with a small smile to show he didn't mind being woken up
Cassandra looked back at him and smiled. "Well that does make sense." The bengal shifted onto her belly to lay beside him. She used her good arm's elbow to prop herself up. "Sleep does sound rather nice. I hardly get much of it anymore since I travel so often."
Lestos turned his head so he was looking at the girl beside him "then sleep, whats stopping you?
Cassandra smiled at Lestos. "Well when there are lots of things to do, and when you are alone when traveling, you have to keep your wits about you. Doesn't leave me much time for it. I've learned to not sleep for long periods if at all."
The canine nodded in agreement "very true, or you just sleep very lightly as I do"
Cassandra took her free hand and with such a gentle movement to keep her wrist from hurting worse, she patted his chest. "I suppose so but then if I were to do that, then I could be bothered by random people like you are." She smiled at him. With a small stretch she moved to sit up again. "Is this area the place you hang around these days?"
Lestos shrugged "I come here ever so often, it's fairly peaceful most of the time"
"So if I was to come looking for you... where would I find you?" The bengal smiled at the canine. She was already thinking ahead.
The canine shrugged "I have no plan with where I go, so I cannot answer your question" he said closing one eye as he looked at her.
Cassandra smirked and shook her head. "You do not make things easy." The bengal carefully stood up and stretched her arm into the air. "Here I thought I might come back in the evening and we could play a game. But I won't even know if I'll see you here."
Lestos raised an eyebrow "why leave between now and then?"
"Oh," Cassandra looked up at the sky. "I have to se my sister and the man who did this again in about an hour and I must prepare for them." She held up her injured wrist when referring to it. Her green eyes looked back at him and smiled. "But I did have fun meeting you and I thought I would come back after the little meeting. You should be ready to play by then." There was a way she smiled as she said that making it seem there were many meanings behind that sentence.
"I'm going back to sleep" he said closing the other eye that had remained open "as a note, I should hope you wont have even more tears in your skin when you come to see me again, though I will dress it, the scent of blood to me is VERY unappealing" a small smirk crossed his lips "it would also be nice if you could bring me a replacement for the bandage you took"
Cassandra giggled. "Aww that's sweet." The bengal came to kneel down right next to Lestos' side and her hands came to prop herself up as she leaned down, red locks falling against his naked torso. She gave a small nuzzle to his chest and smiled at him. "I cannot promise you anything about how I will come back being that I am a pretty hard woman to deal with. But I will bring back a replacement for you." She rose to her feet again.
Opening his eyes to watch her nuzzle against his bare chest he smirked a little but closed his eyes once more "just be careful, else I may not play with you"
Cassandra laughed. "That is true. Well, I will make sure this time, I will use all my arsenals." At that note, she reached down to her whip that was curled up and tied at her side. She then turned and headed back in the direction she had come from. "I'll be back here by night fall. Hope to see you then. And you better come ready to play." With that the female moved off into the forest.
Keeping his eyes closed he raised his tattoo'd arm to wave goodbye "see you then" before drifting back to his nap,
