Haruna smiled brightly, nodding. Good afternoon! she chimed, gesturing to the girl. Take a seat! she giggled. What's your name? she cooed softly.
No, I don't, so enlighten me, Tatsumi said, tilting his head to Chiyoko. He had never found anything wrong with girls who ate a lot. He himself didn't eat that much, but he never really had an appetite. He prefered to be around those who did.

Afternoon? she asked, moving to where Haruna was and sitting down. I slept a long time, she laughed. I'm Charity, she smiled brightly, waving to the girl. Who are you?
They get fat and ugly, and no one will ever like them again. I'll become impossible to love, even though I already am. Men won't find me desirable, and I'll end up all alone, she answered, trying not to cry and hardly realizing she had replaced 'they' with herself. Chiyoko looked down to the food in front of her and stared silently.

Haruna giggled softly, her ears flopping a bit, her tail moving back and forth, much like it was wagging. My name is Haruna! she said, leaning towards Charity. You have a pretty name.
Tatsumi frowned, shaking his head. Don't say that, Chiyoko. You are very lovable, and desirable, he said, reaching out, putting his hand over one of hers.

Charity bounced on her rear. Ha-rooooo-nah? she asked, trying to mimic the sounds, though not quite pronouncing it correctly. Say it again please? she frowned.
Tell my mom, she said, looking to his hand. She told me that. She doesn't love me...

Ha...roo...nah... Haruna repeated, giggling softly. She bounced in place, looking at the girl with bright gold eyes.
If she were here right now, I would tell her, Tatsumi said, his voice becoming thick with anger.

Are your ears real? Charity asked, marvelling at them. She had never seen someone who was part rabbit before, and she was really curious.
Chiyoko frowned. My dad barely likes me, but my mom hates me. If I had nowhere to go around here, I would have to go back to them, she sniffled.

Charity made a rather strange sounding 'squeak' as she reached over to touch one of Haruna's ears. Soooft, she smiled, poking softly at it. And your tail?
Chiyoko's sniffling stopped as she resumed eating. I don't know if I can stay here forever, she finally said. In fact, I know I can't.

Tatsumi sighed softly, nodding to Chiyoko as he continued eating as well. Just... stay as long as you can... he offered.

Charity giggled and lightly touched Haruna's tail. You are part bunny? she tilted her head. How can that be?
Chiyoko shrugged a shoulder. I meant that I can't stay with you forever... You'll make friends, get a girlfriend or go back with your boyfriend... She looked at her food and sighed. I can't tag along forever.

I'm part bunny because my mommy is part bunny, Haruna said, her nose twitching up and down. I'm half-bunny, half-big kitty, she said with a nod.
I have no friends now, nor do I have the desire to make friends, Tatsumi said. Whoever shows up in my life eventually leaves... he continued. But you can stay here as long as you want, I won't tell you to leave ever.

Big kitty! Charity exclaimed, clapping her hands together. I love kitties, and bunnies too! They're so cute!
You might, Chiyoko laughed. I annoy myself. She quickly ate the rest of the food on her plate and looked to Tatsumi with a smile. Thank you for being so kind...

Yes!! He's a tiger, to be exact, Haruna continued about her dad. Kitties and bunnies are cute!! I wish I knew how to go back and forth from my bunny form to my half-bunny form, so I could show you what I look like... she said sadly.
I know I would never. And..How could I not be so kind to you? I do really like you, Tatsumi said with a nod, taking her empty plate as well as his own, putting them in the dishwasher.

Tigers are scary though! Charity exclaimed, panic taking over her expression. They're big and they growl and they eat people! she cried, throwing her arms in the air.
I like you too, she replied, feeling stupid for saying that, as she thought he should already be aware of her feelings. You're just... the nicest person ever.
