*Luke's been here before, though never with Cora. To this day, he has not been able to talk his way out of this type of situation. Only in his dreams does it work out correctly. So if nothing else Luke is comfortable - despite the fact that he knows it's about to go to s**t.*

:::She gives Luke a rather peaved, unconvinced look at him. It wasn't so much the fact that Luke had a date that got her pissed...even though it was a disappointment, but that he was gonna try to lie to her like that just to get both of them in bed that night:::

*Max appears seemingly out of nowhere.* "BURNED! You - GOT - SMOKED."
*Luke looks at him like 'what the ********'.* "You were WATCHING?"
*Max is having the time of his life.* "******** YEAH! HAHA. c**k-blocked by your cousin!"
*Luke sigh/growls.* "You are such an a*****e."
"Haha. Yeah."
"You could have come the ******** over here. Little damage control? Might have been nice."
*Max didn't say it. But he's enjoyed it. It was nice to see Luke get turned down by at least ONE fine lookin female. But there was no use being an a** about it...*
"C'mon, brother. Let it go. Drinks on me." *Max bought him a drink.* "Look at all these lonely women."
*Luke looked through the crowd. He did see one lonely girl, who was having the time of her LIFE. Aimee danced among the crowd, flitting from one group of dancers to another.*
*Luke drinks his beer.* ".... My dance card is full..."
*Max laughed, and Luke puts out his hands. He's starting to get over it.* "Who says that? What does that mean anyway?"
