Glad that Katrea believed his words, and not think that he is crazy like most people would. Running back up to the throne room he saw Fira resting in the corner.

"Fira, Im taking Maki to the Hall of Hope. Katrea told me to meet him there, he went to find Maki's sister."

Walking over to the throne which he had placed Maki in he gently picked her up holding her in his arms turned back around and ran out of the throne room

" I hope Joan might be able to help or have an idea on how to keep her body safe."

Running out of the castle he couldnt remember which way Katrea had told him to go

"Which way did he say to go now?"

He said to himself as he remeber Katrea saying something about stained glass, looking around he saw a chapel looking building to the west and he ran to it. Opening the doors slowly he couldnt see anyone inside, walking to a bench he set laid Maki's body down on it.

"I hope he comes soon"

they walked around the small wall of the inner castle, Joan was unsure if this was that important right now but she didn't think katrea the type to lead her somewhere for no reason. The doors of the hall of hope creaked slowly open, the light from the street lamps lit the crack in the opening door. Joan entered and looked around the candle lit room and saw to people she recognised, the woman but only by her face.

"She was at the battle of dark tail, I seem to remember."

Joan took another look around and found a drop of sweat fall down her face as she saw the body of her sister laying lifeless. she ran over and pushed her way in holding her, Joan’s knees bled as she scraped them on the grey stone floor. Tears didn't fall from the strong woman’s eyes. she held maki's face to her chest.

"maki, are you ok? Wake up. maki!"

Her skin was cold and her heart could not be heard.

"What’s wrong with her? Tell me!"

She demanded with a voice that echoed in the quite hall, this attracted the attention of a monk, the only one still in the hall. he began to walk to the large hall from a small room somewhere.

Joan placed her cheek to makis cold mouth. Zetsuei spoke true, air still breathed from makis lungs. Joan looked at Zetsuei with a cold look of a woman scorned.

"I remember you, but you speak madness, reborn as a girl? Instead of making up madness why not think of her body here and now. ive seen this before its just like long ago, i knew a child that fell into a deep sleep where they wouldn't wake, even when made to feel pain, i think they call it a comer. i have no reason to believe this talk of her soul being put into a new body."

Joan picked up her sister and stroked her face softly, moving her curly hair. The monk that heard the loud exchanging of words walked over and saw Joan he gave a half bow looking right at the group with sleep depraved eyes.

"it seems she was hurt as she stayed with you, showing you made a poor job of protecting her. This fabrication your telling me is just a way to pass the blame."

Joan got right up into Zetsuei’s face as she spoke and her dark brown eyes seemed to see right into his thoughts.

"I’ll take care of my sister now. Monk do you have a bed free"

"yyyess maam"

the monk led her to his room and Joan turned with her hair flicking around hiding a single tear that she didn't want any one to see.

Sitting down on the bench where he laid Maki's body, Zetsuei looked up at Katrea as he took a deep breath.

"We did our best protecting her but whe the darkness that was growing inside of her got too strong it could gain control of her body for periods of time. I am speaking the truth and Maki wont awaken untill I bring the child to her body."

Slipping his coat off he placed it next to him on the bench.

"Yes, my name is Zetsuei. I would be happy to share my side of the fight. Before the battle you traveled with my father for some time, then sometime before the final battle he and Maki went their own way and you went yours. Personally I wasnt at the fight with Dark Tail, but I do have my fathers memories. During the fight you fought with great determination even with the great wounds that had been inflicted to you. My fathers gave his life to preform a powerful spell which temporally disrupted and negated Dark Tails dark powers which gave Kyana enough time to cast holy on your sword which ended Dark Tail and the ORB so we thought. Just like Maki maybe the wounds and the dark energy he used to fight against you caused your memory to be erased, but some how I think you may be able to retrieve your lost memories."

Starring at the ground all the memories which he had inherrited from his father rushed through his head and the scenes from the battle surfaced.

"Thats all I know Katrea, I hope that answered some of your questions. If I can be more help just let me know"

katrea sighed as he sunk his head down, all this seemed good news that he played a big part in defeating dark tail but he felt like it was not behind his memory loss.

"i don't think its that dark poison, i mean just to make me lose memory and not to try and kill me what would be the point."

katrea turned to Fira and watched as she pulled a sketch book and passed katrea it on the right page. katrea turned it to take a long look. He looked at the very skilled picture with building burning and some figures battling a monstrous **kitsino.** katrea thought hard about the image, he didn’t remember any of the fight but he did think of something, the heat.

"Wait, I remember this fire, it burned my skin, it was everywhere."

katrea smiled and felt even though the fact that he remembered the heat of the blaze as a sign he was this katrea from all these peoples past.

"well thanks fira, to tell you the truth i had doubts of even being katrea, but I think I have some more clarification that i am in fact the same man."

he handed back the book to fira and crossed his arms again lowing his head.

"Now i have one more thing to ask, that no one would tell me. Every time i tried to talk about it people dismissed it as if i was saying something blasphemes by just asking. What i want to ask, is this what happened to the shadow Orb after dark tails death."

The hall went silent and only the wind blowing through the rafters could be heard.

"It was only half distroyed," Fira muttered taking back the sketchbook and flipping the cover page back, "From what I recalled happened at the end of the fight."

Turning around and facing Katrea, Zetsuei shook his head slightly.

"Apparently it can be passed on and take over a new host body. Like in Dark Tails case he gained its power and it slowly took over his body. In Maki's situation it was the same, it had infected her during the battle and it slowly grew over time within her until he could control her body. We all thought it got destroyed but I guess that a small piece of it survived and got buried beneath the debris then slowly worked its way deep into the ground were its growth couldnt be notcied."

Walking over back to the bench he picked up his coat and held it in his hand as the suns rays pierced the stained glass and shined down.

"The ORB is a hard subject to talk about because I dont know of anyone who fully understands its capabilities. All I know is that it has a new form and it needs to be stopped before we have a repeat of what happened four years ago"
