Aura smiled as the look on Lacuna's face became one of realization. "It's bad..." Looking at Jak's face she couldn't help but laugh. "The only way a girl can become a woman is if she's left to do things on her own. You can support her and catch her if she falls, but you can't go around threatening everyone that tries to get close to her." Playing with her hair thoughtfully she smiled. "It is sweet of you."

Lacuna raised an eyebrow at the words, "It's bad..", she sat thinking quietly.
"It's bad..?", she said with her head tilted to one side.

Jakkin smiled, rolling his eyes. "Perhaps I can get you two lovelies a refill before I depart? I really should go check up on Akki. If I know her, she already has the kitchen torn apart with her planning. I believe a dinner party is in the works.
She loves the cooking and planning, but let her in the kitchen and she's a one-girl wrecking crew."

Jak moved over to the counter to order their refills, returning to the table a moment later with two steaming cups. "Here you go, my darlins. I'm off. He stroked Lacuna's cheek with one finger, lifting her chin to meet his eyes. "I'll see you later cutie." Striding to the door, he turned to wink at Lacuna beforre leaving.

Looking at Lacuna Aura smiled. "I'm going to go look for Ryn at the Star before looking for her at home." Finishing off her coffee she stood and left.

Quinn entered the coffee house, his bag over his shoulder. He wasn't dirty, he was clean, and in clean clothes. And he clearly felt fantastic, though he had a bit of a limp. He went to the counter, got himself a coffee, and found a table to sit at. Remembering the last time he was here, he decided not to try his coffee yet.

Mina slipped quietly into the Coffee House. She didn't know where else to go, and she was hoping to find someone here. She looked around the coffee house and spotted Quinn sitting at a table. She smiled slightly and went over to the counter to get a coffee. When she got it she quietly made her way to Quinn's table and asked, "May I sit here? Or is this seat taken..?" She took a sip of her coffee and shifted her foot a little.

Quinn looked over at her, then smiled and waved his hand at the seat. "Sure, go ahead. No one's sitting there." he said. He pulled his bag off of his shoulder and put it under the table at his feet, looking at her the whole time.

She smiled slightly and put her coffee on the table and sat down. "So...um.. How's it going?" She shifted her feet around under the table nervously. Taking another glance around the coffee house, thoughts raced through her mind. Where's Alex..? She should be home by now... She's going to hurt herself again... And who was that girl Oliver was with? I thought he liked Cat... She bit her lip at these thoughts and looked down at the table.

"Fantastic. Really really good.." he said almost immediatly to her question. He looked at her curiously for a moment, then reached over and grabbed her hand. "Are you okay?" he asked quietly. She looked nervous and distracted.....that's probably what you always looked like. He thought.

"T-that's good.." She glanced up at him and then back down at the coffee table. She fought back the tears that wanted to splash down her face, and twitched when he took her hand. Her eyes went from the table to his hand and back to the table. "I-I... No." She bit her lip.

Quinn frowned, giving her hand a squeeze. "What's wrong?" he asked. He let go of her hand and stood up, moved his chair closer to her, then sat down and grabbed her hand again. "You don't need to tell me.....and I probably can't help....but believe me when I say that telling someone your problem is a lot better than keeping it in."
