I''m thinking of an expensive(and hard) chaos conversion to enter into a Gamesday competion. It''s having a Chaos Raptor Aspiring Champion with plasma pistol and melta-bombs fighting a carnie. He''ll be on it''s back about to throw a Melta-Bomb into a hole in it''s carapace it made with a plasma pistol. ((100 gold to the first person to figure out what movie inspired this))

the book is better and actually a bit like 40k. Guess as to where GW got the idea for powered armour....

I might be making a 40k in 40 min. Chaos army soon. Anyone had any experience with this? I''m looking at either Latd or Khorne.

Just to Inform you all. Khornate chapters and legions are immense. Its great to get into multiple combats with these people. A squad of 12 equals 48 attacks...*drool* Oh and terminators 2+ armour save? Forget it, pay 1pt each and equip the bezerkers with khornate chainaxes. (which make the best armour save possible 4+)

Example- Squad of 5 terminators deep strike, charge with 12 bezerkers. 48 attacks... saves 4+ at least some have to fail.

My chapter is named the malevolent martyrs and is custom.

You''d have to really like Korne to really be able to capitalize on bezerkers. I prefer my Ork Chopps or Kornate Chainaxes, they do the same thing lowering the max armor save. Death to the termies!

No, you just need an HQ(Other than a greater demon) with the mark of khorne, all Khorne bezerkers become troops then, and you can still use unmarked marines as troops also. Still, there are a few ways to make Khorne characters VERY powerful(*Cough*16 Monstrous Creature attacks at S7 and WS6 on charge*Cough*).

how do you get that many attacks with khorne?
Best I can do is with nurgle:
Daemonic Mutation (+1)
Close Combat Weapon (+1)
Manreaper (+D6)
meaning 6 ~ 11 attacks.
On one daemon prince.

No, but they ignore basic armor saves.

3 base, +1 for mark of khorne, +1 for mutation, +d3 for charging, total attacks multiplied by 2 due to berzerker glaive.

cough cough, glaive only doubles base attacks.. so its: 3 base, 6 after doubling +1 for mark of khorne, +1 for mutation, +d3 for charging

Also getting someone using the glaive there is a game on its own: it counts as its own unit, cant have movement affecting upgrades, cannot be transported. basicly: you footslog
