"And I know the perfect spot! Away!!"
Reck took off running out the cafe entrance and down the street to his custom dojo

Kei followed him, smiling. Whatever he was up to... she didn't know, but she didn't care either...

Roy slowly walked into the cafe leading Kinami in. He smiled up to her and looked around for a moemnt. He was checking the plce out to avoid Mat and Tai. Although, considering the company he kept now, he was sure that wouldn't last long. He lead her over to a small booth out of the way and waited for her to sit like gentalmen.

Kinami sat down, hiding a smile at Roy's actions. She sighed happily, anticipating eating a filling meal. She relaxed slightly...until a certain friend bounded over for greetings.

Tai missed Kinami. Mat missed Kinami, too, but not like Tai did. After all, she was his best friend- he was sure that he would miss Yama the same, but he saw his man on a daily basis, so this was different.

Sighing, he leaned against the counter, watching Mat experiment some more. His stomach gave a twinge of apprehension, and Tai made a mental note to eat a full lunch someplace else. Yama understood perfectly well, so it wouldn't hurt his feelings at all.

Hearing the door open, Mat waved him out. Apparently, the younger blonde was going to remain behind the scenes that day. That left Tai to deal with the customers by himself. He straightened and trudged out to the main room.

He immediately noticed a familiar, if not necessarily loved, face. He wondered what had brought the kid there, as he had taken to avoiding the cafe whenever possible (most likely because Tai liked to mess with him). This was answered when he saw exactly who was with him- he would notice that head of hair anywhere.

Rushing forward, he called out to her and scooped her into a bone-crushing hug. "Kinami!" He held her at arms length, taking in her bright smile that was so sorely missed for so long. In a somewhat cheerful voice, he told her, "You look like hell."

Kinami returned the hug with enthusiasm. She hadn't realized just how little she had seen her friends. She smiled wryly at his comment, knowing that it wasn't a barb or anything. "Tai, it's great to see you. How's Yama?"

Tai shrugged. "Can't complain, but his cooking isn't improving much." He looked over at the kid, then smiled predatorially at him. "And you brought my favorite toy, too."

Roy's heart froze for a moment. He saw that smile and could have died right then and there. He noticed that smile and wanted to run for the hills right then and there. He wasn't sure exactly why he was here. He looked to Kinami and remembered it was her request. He swallowed hard. Hee knew that being with her would mean taking the good and the bad. He just wasn't sure his mind could take the bad part. With a deep...deeeeeeep sigh, he looked to Tai. His mind raced for a moment and he remembered one thing that might keep Tai at bay...for now...or it could horribly back fire and make Tai attack faster.

"hello to you too Tai. By the way, my relative Haruko has missed you quite a bit. She says she can't wait to train with you again." Sure, Tai knew Haruko's real identity, but Roy used the name Haruko specifically to bring up the horrid memories he was hoping Tai still had. A smug grin crossed his lips as he waited for the reaction.

Tai shuddered. Yes, he remembered. But he also knew how to get around said person, and he also knew how to get at the kid's mentality. He smiled again. "Oh, the poor kitten has teeth." He took a step towards Roy, a cat stalking a mouse, and grinned even wider. "Mat and I were planning a get together- care to join us?"

Kinami stepped in before things got messy. Actually, it was her being rather possessive than the fact that she was worried for Roy's purity. Placing herself between them, holding out her hands to stop either from advancing, she said, "Alright, boys, you've had your fun. I'd say kiss and make up," Tai brightened at the prospect, "but Tai might take that literally. So how about you both just stop bickering and bristling and we all sit and have a nice chat, hm?"

Ame walked into the cafe and looked around hesitantly... As her instinct told her, Lady Kinami was there... as was Roy, her trusy assisstant. Slowly making her way towards them she waited off by another booth as a man greeted her and such. She didn't want to disturb them. She would just wait for her turn.... It wasn't like she was in a hurry though...

(Because my mom picks me up soon, I should be back later, lol)

Roy looked to Kinami for a moment and arched a brow. She was stopping Tai? Usually, she was on the sideline laughing her a** off. He then looked to Tai who's smile was enough to make Roy wanna cringe but as Kinami stoped him, his smile faded. Roy himself felt a little more secure. He looked up to Tai and nodded. "I'm sorry...my mom does really like you two. She just goes a bit overboard sometimes. I'm sorry for that." He says and spreads his arm to the chairs. He had already prepared Kinamis seat and wanted to be nice.

Tai sighed heavily. "Yeesh, Kinami, you always ruin my fun." He sighed heavily, hearing the kid finish his spiel, then opened his eyes and smiled again. "Don't worry, I can always find you when Kinami isn't around to ruin my fun." On that ominous note, and before his dear friend could knock some sense into him, he fled to give Yama the orders.

Kinami sighed, shaking her head. Sitting, she said, "You know that, no matter what sort of threats he makes, he won't actually follow through on anything, right?" she asked.

Roy looked to her. He wrapped his arms around her and grinned, "You asked me to trust you and I do with al my heart...him however...I trust him about as far as I canthrow the Tower... LEast when it comes to things like that.

Still following Ame, the silent Houka went into the cafe. He was hungry and angry...a little. He tough his first day of team training could be the best experience of his life...but it didn't turn out has expect.

*Well so be it. Geez I wonder if something will even will go the right way. Have to do my best next time.*

Houka sit on one of the empty table...he wanted to eat, that's all. What Ame would do wasn't his business outside training.

*Maybe if I could talk to sensei....*

Watching the older guy leave, Ame slowly approached the table. "Hey Lady Kinami, Roy, I was wondering... my friends and I were hoping to get a hold of a mission to kill time. Can you guys help me out with that?" Ame gave them a smile. She was starting to feel better. The tension of the day's events were slowly but surely wearing off.

Hirako walked into the restaurant. HIs stomach rumbling, he reached into his bag and searched for some money. He quickly found his wallet devoid of any cash. Oh that's right. I haven't been payed yet. He sighed and put his bag away. Then he brought his hand up to his chin to ponder what to do.

Well I could go home but I don't think I have much food there either. Maybe I could get somebody to give me money. He looked around and saw mostly kids. Then he saw the Kage. He nodded, She's probably loaded! Oh wait, I don't want to beg in front of the kage. Besides, she seems to be enjoying herself with some coworkers or something. I'd hate to bother her. I'll start eating now. Then when the kage goes to leave, I'll chase after her to talk about Ame's friends. That way, I won't have to pay the bill anyway! He smirked. I'm a genius!

Hirako walked and sat in a corner booth. He ordered some spicy curry and immediatly began devouring the bowl. Soon he ordered another except he took his time on this one. As he ate, he watched Kinami from across the room, waiting for her to finish her conversation or leave.
