Sayin Hiya I am new and OLD (22) LOL. Well in HS I was a tenor sax player sweatdrop . Marching band was so fun, I wish I could relive my days in band again sweatdrop . I SOOO need to get a better T.Sax, as my is sadly falling apart. i played on a tenor last year that was being held together by hair ties sweatdrop hey, age doesnt matter in here either! just means you have more experience so you can help out lowly 10th graders such as myself ^-^* all are welcome!!!!!

Saint-Saens __penguin__  I WANT THIS. crying Hey, it's only ... $2,679 sweatdrop *Huggles the pretty* I like my Yamaha though. domokun looks awesome! make sure you try it first. when i was shopping around for the matte finished selmer that i have now (my baby!) i tried a silver one and it sounded terrible! it was probably just the one that i tried, but still.... it looks pretty tho!!!

OK listen to this I play alto and tenor. And Im the only saxophone in our band I don't really like it cause before i moved I was in like a 100 man band with 13 saxophones now Im the only one but I can live with it cause im first chair and at my old school I was second chair so I happy now.

I have played alto tenor and bari, I currently play alto and bari, tenor is ok... just I hate the key its in..... but I wanna try soprano!!! anyone here play bari?

MHHornfreak I remember when i started band i was the only tenor sax and then by my senior year the section grew a bit. There was alway salto's though an endless supply of em. My friend was the only tenor our freshman year, and it was a new instrument for him because he'd just switched from clarinet. He didn't do too badly though - I didn't know he was new on the instrument, in any case. I didn't even find out until he told me last year. I guess he was getting private lessons at the time.

I had almost an entire year to learn sax before I started playing it in school and I did horribly the first week or so. I got the hang of it pretty quickly, but it was a scramble, considering I was in the advanced band.

Everyone one thinks shes so hot too wearing mini skirts. It makes me sick I was fisrt in jazz band im a great player and she comes in destroys it.

It makes me sick I was fisrt in jazz band im a great player and she comes in destroys it. a cheerleader playing sax??? i've never heard of that before! at my school they're always either flutes or french horns! girls like that give the rest of us sax gals a bad name sad and i always thought it was the guys being pigs making all the sexist comments.... i guess they're really deserved sometimes!
