"You do not know why I am here, truly?" Batrias asked. "You see, I am on no one's side but my own. I helped you Ronins defeat the Torn Shadow creature, and I'm also helping Tusuki retrieve the One Armor. You have no idea what she has in store for it. Let me just say that...she has more in mind than simply collecting the armors. Her motives are higher than any common greed her father held."
His eyes travelled down Kayura's blade, which was just underneath his chin. "Though, in the end, I don't suppose anything we do here will matter. Tusuki is going to win, and I will be there when she does."
"I am assuming that she is not here, then." Kayura concluded, her voice cold with fury.
"That's right, beloved," Batrias said. "It would seem that bringing everyone here at once invoked a great deal of energy, and Tusuki sensed it, and fled. I couldn't tell you where, because I stayed behind to delay you."
"Delay us?" Kayura almost shouted.
"Tusuki is not here, but the Blacksmith is," Batrias declared.

The idea that Tusuki had fled her sancuary did not sit well with Dannin, but reaching out with her long forgotten powers as a Warlady, she knew it was true. Tusuki was not there. But where was the mad Warlady?
"So you serve yourself," the quiet Kaylyn finally speaks, "not much has changed Batrias. If you wish to fight, then do so, if not, out of our way. Tusuki or Blacksmith, we have buisness to attend to."

Batrias steps back, away from Kayura's sword. "You do not yet understand the full meaning of what is going on," He says to Kaylyn, "But you will."
"Talpa cannot be revived," Kayura said. "He cannot!"
"Ah, perhaps I was wrong," Batrias smiles broadly. "No wonder I married you. Yes, that is one of Tusuki's goals- one of them."

Dannin nodds slowly, "I was with Tusuki when Talpa was defeated. You cannot convinse her he is dead. She is mad with the idea of bringing him back. And that's not the worst of it. Her hatred is unmatched by any other, even my own." (for details on "evil" Dannin, check her intro at the old Yahoo group)

"Talpa?! No way!" Kento blinked in surprise as he heard the news. Of course, it shouldn't have been such a surprise, but in the end, it was. That battle was hard enough, and now this Tusuki wanted to bring him back?
"Talpa's spirit passed on, at least to my understanding and what I'm being told by the spirits about us...Though he's vengeful still," Lena lifted her head, murmering quietly but clearly to those around her. Turning her head to face Batrias, she gave him a wry grin, "So, the thing you fear that can end your own life is finally catching up on you, Batrias? Blacksmith seems to be comming for all the armors now..."
"Hatred consumes us all in this place, we have to get moving," Cye spoke, looking at Dannin.
Rowen continued, "Talpa can't be brought back, not since Ryo defeated him. IT sounds more like Tusuki's insanity is taking her over, rather then it being the pathway to something good...."

Batrias glanced sharply at Rowen. "Insanity?" He asked slowly. "This coming from the one whose power seeks wisdom? No, Tusuki is not mad, she is...perhaps 'misguided' is the word. She believes that Talpa's resurrection can help her...but if you want to find out how, you must follow me. There are many things you have yet to understand."
He stepped away, deep into the sanctuary. Kayura raised her staff, and it glowed with pure light. She shrugged at the Ronins, and followed her husband.

Lena just sighed, "I'm really beginning to dislike him more and more....sorry Kayura...but..."

Kanita smirked slightly as she slowly began to walk away from the group. "I say that we should just continue on walking." She stated with a small laugh as she continued to walk into the darkness.

There, in the darkness of the sanctuary lay a creature that imagination could not have conjured. There lay, on its side, stretched out, possibly asleep, a being with red scales in place of skin, a thin tail stretching out of its backside, and a head with a ridge of bones on top. A forked tongue flicked in and out of the creature's mouth, and it made soft wheezing noises in its slumber.
"This," Batrias announced, "Is the Blacksmith."

It was safe to say that each of the Ronin Warriors were in awe, and it was evident in the way each of the took in the sight before them. Kento, jaw dropped and eyes wide, was tempted to poke it, for some strange reason, just to see if this was all a real thing or not. Adreniline and excitement running thorugh his veins, like they always had before a fight, "Oh man...."
Cye felt a tinge of awe, but fear as well, easily seeing the damage this thing could do. And Rowen? He recognized it from the countless time he had spent reasearching it in books that he had later had Lena helping him with before the warlords had attacked them this evening. THis wasn't good...
Lena felt a strange feeling, between terror, adreniline and something else she could describe. The darkness itself wasn't helping her one bit, still having the awful connection of dark spirits that had been in her vicinity earlier, and again now. Clenching her eyes for a moment, they were open once more, watching the creature before them, pulling Arrow against her, "And your point is?"

Kanita just blinked and stared right at the thing. "Blacksmith? Does not seem so powerful to me." She mumbled as she crossed her arms and huffed.

"What?" She asked as she faced the two. Blinking rapidly, the girl tilted her head ever so slightly. Licking her lips, the girl shook her head as well and went back to staring at the strange creature that was laying right infront of them.

The lizard (the Blacksmith, Kayura forced herself to think) opened its eyes. They were yellow, with black slits in the middle. "Humans, humans," it said. "Many humans, many armors. Armor of Reciprocity."
Kayura was on the verge of asking the Blacksmith what it meant by that, but the Blacksmith said, "Seeks wrath. White armor. Sword of Vengeance." The Blacksmith pointed at Batrias. "Yours."
Batrias shrugged. "You should tell them about the plan you thought up."
"Plan, plan," The Blacksmith stood up, shaking its neck about. "Many ideas, little time. Fighting always."
