Hey does anyone else play French Horn in the marching band? Everyone says it's impossible but I do! My band directer is trying to convince me to switch to mallophone but I like the attention from the other bands. They're all like Woah! Wareham has a French Horn!!!! I just walk bye at attention trying not to smile. LoL ...BTW I'm in the Wareham High School marching band... we're pretty small but that dosn't change the fact that we can have super cool routines! ....if only we could make a circle... or maybe pull off that strait line.... sweatdrop ok... so we're not that good.... but it's the spirit that counts. I love doing football games. Or when our Band directer tells us to pretend we're having the time of our lives doing a very painful set (and if you've been in MB long enough you know what I'm talking about) over and over untill we get it right. I love acting. ^_^

That's really cool that you get to play one xD I've felt the frustration at the band not being able to do siple stuff. We had a saxaphone, mellophone, and clarinet line that was only straight one of the hundered or so times we rehearsed it. At least that was at a competition... >_> Marching band pwns all xD ((and you should look at that horn above. its way cool =D))

X_X Stupid small hands, I could barley touch the valves. A curse and a blessing rolled into one. I wanted to play basson, but my hands were too small, so I picked the horn. Oh well... XP I<3 the horn anyway.

There should be little screws you should be able to unscrew to reattatch the strings... If not, I'm sure your BD or another horn player can help you fix it =D
