[SpontaneousSpaz] Elxis Okay here is my deal I am a grade 12+ smile I am currently a grade 6 level Clarinet Player.. But this has nothing to do with me playing woodwinds but kinda.. As of two weeks ago I joined the grade ten class and was horsing around with the tuba so I am now playing the tuba as per request of principal.. Small problem though when I play B-flat (open)it is correct but in having a firm mouth for playing my clarinet it is quite frustrating to hit the F (Open).. Some tips would be greatly appreciated.. Tnkx. Lix mssg. please you talking about middle F or high F? I am going to assume middle cause I am learning from the botton up

[Razzberry Kamikaze] ~Mr.Domino~ [Razzberry Kamikaze] SO I pretty much found out there is a soprano trombone and I totally want to learn how to play it. There is? That sounds crazy awsome! I've never even heard of it before... Is it used for a certain type of music? Have you ever seen a Piccolo Trombone? They're crazy small! Either (the soprano or piccolo) would pretty neat to try out some time, but I would need to learn to play a more regular trombone first...

Hey, I play trombone and a bit of Baritone, but I got a serious question: Has anyone ever played the Solo Piece "Beautiful Colorado"? I think it is originally ment for Baritone, but I played it for trombone and I've heard played on Bari sax. Anywas, I'm not quite in highschool, and I'm just curious if anyone else has heard of/played it. It wasn't a walk in the park to learn, just to let you know....

I play trombone and I do it well. No need to learn a new instrument. If I did then my schools junior band wouldn't have anymore trombones. And I can't let that happen can I?

I play the TUBA. And Sousaphone. Ya know what is totally awesome about the tuba? If you play a concert Bb on tuba, it drives male alligators crazy. Seriously. I doesn't work with any other note.
