rmcdra Well hello, I'm Robert and I am one of the "eBiL Xtians". lol. Actually I am a Christian that is part of the heretical tradition of Gnosticism. I guess I could be considered an M&R reg. I joined this guild to gain some new insights, because quite a few friends are in this guild, and I don't fit quite in most other "Christian" oriented guilds because well, I'm a heretic and follow a different cannon, different orthodoxy, and all that other stuff. Anyway thank you for letting me join.
Gah, they let you eBiL Xtians in here? What is the world coming to?
Just kidding; glad to see another friendly face around. 3nodding

Heh, I don't know if there's a conversation going on here, but I'm new, so... I'm gonna introduce myself now: I'm Ian. I've been pagan for about a year now. I'm still new at all of this, so I'm open to learning anything about paganism. Yah... that's it, heh.

I am also only a year into being a pagan. I am somewhat lost but i do do some things i wish to learn more and anything as well and have a open mind to any and all religions ^.^ id like any suggestions if passable and Ive been learning about shamanism and Wicca... altho i know without a coven i am not able to be a real Wiccan but Ive been tought about some of the things in it and it was my starting point in my pagan path. I don't know if i wish to continue scene i have found the sky clad thing to be a bit revealing and the whole sexual rituals kinda fended me off.. As for the things Ive learned mostly Ive learned healing and a few spells but not many. i have an alter but lack of space so i don't usually get a chance to find room for it. Sorry if this is long but its some insight. I would like to find something that screamed me. ^.^ thanks for reading sorry if i sounded like an idiot, But you have to make mistakes before you learn.

Kuri-yoru genso Ive been learning about shamanism and Wicca... altho i know without a coven i am not able to be a real Wiccan Likewise, my wager is that you haven't been learning about what it is to be a Shaman. They're a distinct tradition after all. And your post wasn't too long, nor unreasonable.

Blessing and cursing as needed there those who do is what is needed to help the tribe. <--- something like that?

The title of Shaman belongs to the individual of afforded spiritual and social stations in specific tribes in the regions of Mongolia, Manchuria and Siberia. In much the same way that practicing Witchcraft doesn't mean you're of The Wica, practicing any of those things doesn't make you a Shaman. Individual Otherworld traditions have their own titles for such people.

I was only doing research on them to better understand. ^.^ And i do not clame to be Wicca. i have no right to the clame for the simple fact i was not let in or earned my right to be one. altho i have learned some about it i don't know if its the path i will choose. ^.^

That being said, what defines you as being pagan and not one of YHVH's? Well, for one, YHVH? The other, I believe there are the gods and goddesses, but I'm not sure who to follow. I was recently looking into Greek mythology, and the goddess gaia (I know, odd coincidence) seemed... fitting? I'm a nature lover, a preserver of life, if you will. Plus, i can't learn much about paganism in my house. My dad is mormon and absolutly despises the fact I deny his religion and looked into, and am trying to embrace, Paganism.

YHVH is the name of the Christian God.
