Grace was not too keen on having Killian follow her home, but he did. She would have rather him just left her alone, she didn't need him to sit around and watch her house. The men that did this to her have been caught, and it wasn't like they were going to live anyways. Even if they were alive right now, they weren't going to be for long, so there was really no threat to Grace. For the most part, she just laid in her house, in the silence and in the dark. Even though it was sunny and a new day, she had closed all of the curtains in her house, and closed the blinds as well. She wanted it to be dark. Her eyes were looking at the wall next to her bed, kind of like a blank stare. During the time she was alone, she allowed herself to cry, she even looked at her injuries in the mirror for the first time, and with those brands on her body, her face seemed like less of an embarrassment. Now she was marked, owned. Disgusting.
Not long after she had moved back into her bed, she heard the front door open and immediately knew who it was. But, she didn't get up to greet him like she normally would have. She didn't even really look his way as he stood there in the doorway, watching her. The seconds that ticked by felt like hours, and with each second she could feel her heart beating harder. Was he here to tell her that he was done? Never wanted to see her again? Grace wasn't sure what he wanted, but she was not going to be the one to speak. The last time they were together he had said some hurtful things, and acted out of emotion. Not that he was wrong in doing so, either. He had just lost a child, which was the hardest thing for anyone to have gone through. He had a right to act out, scream, cry, throw things. It was a part of being human, and it was healthy to let out emotion. After all, the first time she had ever been alone with him was after the time he had freaked out in his room back at his clubhouse, and she went to tend to his wounds and talk to him.
Grace finally heard his footsteps moving towards her bed, and she caught her breath in her throat. She needed to brace herself for the worst news. Though, when he reached her bedside his touch was gentle, and his voice even more so. Nothing compared to the way he had spoken to her at the hospital. After he spoke, she sat silent for a moment before turning to face him, now laying on her back instead of her side. "I couldn't stay there. With the constant beeping of machines, shuffling of feet outside of the room...the humming of nurses outside. It was driving me crazy. I couldn't be there anymore." She sighed, closing her eyes for a moment. "I can take care of my injuries myself..." She was a nurse after all, despite having not been to work in a while. Plus, she didn't want to sit around and let people see the embarrassing injuries she had, specifically the brands on her hip and the back of her neck.

"Of course you can take care of your own injuries. I know that. You just shouldn't have too." He grew silent. He was still torn on what to do about his Grace situation.
"I didn't know if you wanted me to let you job know you would be out of work for a few days...I was going to tell them there was a sudden death in the family. Not about anything else..." He glanced away.
"Erm...Tomorrow is....Kennedy's funeral. You aren't expected to go. I just wanted you to know since I will be gone part of the day. I guess someone should let Maralyn know..." Orion gave a heavy sigh. He felt crushed beneath the burdens of being the President currently.

Never had he ever considered walking away from his position as head of the Club. Currently it was a thought that had crossed his mind multiple times in the last 24 hours. Was that the only way he would ever be free of these hardships?
"Do you need me to go and buy any gauze or anything? Are you hungry...?"

Grace looked up at Orion, watching him as he spoke. The hurt and confusion was evident in his eyes. He was pained, and at a crossroads. However, she would be unable to help him in this situation. This was something he needed to deal with within himself, because nothing she could say or do would make any of this any better. At the mention of her job, she shook her head. "I had asked for time off, remember? I have the next two weeks off before I have to go back.." She sat up in the bed, moving slowly. Her ribs hurt from were Dylan had shocked her so many times. Not to mention how just physically exhausted she was. At the mention of the funerals, Grace nodded her head. "I'm going." Kennedy was one of the people who had come to save her, and he lost his life doing so, so she would never miss his funeral. She owed him at least that much. Grace swung her legs over the side of the bed, staying seated on the edge. She was looking at the ground for a moment, before moving her eyes back up to Orion, the man she loved and cared for deeply. It was almost hard for Grace to look at him, because she felt guilty. She was upset that she was pregnant, and only because he had lost Belle. If he hadn't been looking for her, he would have been able to be there for his child, and that thought really weighed on her conscience. "I can't eat. I-I'm just not hungry..." She swallowed thickly, and let out a sigh. It had been over a day since the last time she ate anything, but she couldn't bring herself to do so, either. Especially not with the guilt she was holding, and how much she was fighting with herself mentally about this baby she was carrying. "You don't have to stay here with me, I'll be okay. I know you...you have a lot on your plate right now." She looked from the ground back up to him.

Orion was a bit relieved that she had agreed to Kennedy's funeral. He felt like it would be a show of support for his brother Lincoln. Right now Lincoln needed all the support he could get.
"I'm not hungry either..." He admitted as he finally sat down on the edge of the bed. He shook his head.
"I'm having Belle's room packed up...I don't want to be there during that..." He stated it calmly though it killed him to speak those words.
"The funeral arrangements have been made...Black and Titus are partners so they can call about the businesses...Cadence can call Celeste's son. I haven't talked to him in years." He hung his head between his hands. The inner turmoil felt like it was becoming too much again.

Grace felt a little relieved when he took a seat next to her, and she looked sideways at him as he spoke. She could see the emotion in his body language, and even hear the despair in his voice. It was only when he hung his head that Grace felt a rush of empathy wash over her. She leaned against his form gently, and laid her head on his shoulder, letting one of her arms move to rub his back softly. "I know...I know this is hard." She frowned, and looked down, but quickly regained her composure. "It is not going to get better. The pain and hurt will never go away. It will always be there, but you will get stronger. You will get stronger and it will get easier to deal with the pain.." She pressed her lips to his shoulder, closing her eyes for a few seconds. The only sounds that surrounded them were their own breaths, and she finally spoke up again. "I am here for you. You have a whole lot of people here for you. Don't try to get through this alone...it will rip you up from the inside out." She dropped her hand from his back, but stayed leaning against him gently.

As Lena spoke to him about it not being his fault and she knew he would have stopped it, his eyes could not meet her gaze. In a way it was his fault Cadie had been hurt. He should have been with her. Should have stopped it from happening. Then she spoke of going to Cadie's."She had a right to be mad at me, Lena.

Jasper nodded and followed her down the stairs, checking his phone as he went. He frowned seeing an unknown number had sent him something. Quickly he texted Dereck back'Yea save something for me if you can. I'll be by as soon as I can.' Before Jasper followed Lena outside, he unhooked a drill from it's battery and grabbed a set of drill bits.

He drove to Cadence's place, making sure her mom was following. He opened the door for her, then followed her in. Jasper stayed near the door. With Cadence so mad at him, he didn't feel welcome much. "Thank-you Lena. Just keep me informed if anything happens." Jasper knew at this point, Cadence probably wouldn't do that. So if her mother would, then he'd take that.

As the two walked out of the duplex each to their own vehicles. Jasper waited until Lena pulled away until he pulled away and headed out of Shadow Creek to Greensville, where the Reapers Clubhouse was. He walked in, shoulders back, head high into the clubhouse he didn't belong and asked after Dereck. One of the men, Lucky, lead him to where Dereck was with Tommy. Jasper stripped off his cut, placing it on a table,"So we getting information, or just torture today?" This was Dereck's place. He'd let the man lead, and finish what he wanted. He had invited him there after all.

Dereck was already getting down to business when he got word that Jasper arrived. His white shirt had a little bit of blood spatter on it, and surrounding Tommy on the floor was a s**t ton of teeth. Dereck had pliers in his hands, and he turned to Jasper, nodding to Lucky that he could leave the room. "Torture. This sick ******** needs to suffer for what he did." He took off his gloves, and bent his head side to side, cracking his neck. Dereck then placed the pliers down on the table, as well as his gloves. Despite the fact that Jasper was an Angel, right now they were brothers. United with the same goal. This man had done unspeakable things to the women they cared for, so today they were working as a team to teach this sick a*****e a lesson.
Dereck grabbed a cheese grater, and walked over to Tommy, kneeling my his legs. He said nothing as he ran the grater along Tommy's kneecap, Tommy's screams filling the room, as pieces of his blood, skin and flesh fell to the floor, beneath the grater. Once Dereck had done both kneecaps, he stepped back and wiped his forehead with his forearm. "All yours." He walked backwards, standing against the wall as he lit a cigarette.

Orion knew Grace was right. He would eventually learn to live without the people that he lost. Currently this did nothing to help his situation though.
"I know that to be true....doesn't mean it helps though." He slipped an arm Grace and tugged her closer to him. He wasn't sure what to say to her.
"I actually remember we were to take a vacation and you spoke to your job, but I didn't think you would want them thinking you lied and just didn't want to go into work. You know our town is small...." He twisted his head toward her and kissed the top of her head.
"You should be resting Grace." He leaned down to remove his shoes.
"I can lay with you if you want." His green eyes were on her face. Searching for her reaction.

Grace frowned slightly. All she wanted was to help him feel better about everything. She wanted to take his pain away, but it wasn't possible. As he began to speak now about her work, she shook her head. "Everyone knows we are a couple, so once word gets around about everything, they will have no problem with me taking off work...it will be okay." When his arm draped around her she leaned into it, letting a small sigh of relief escape her lips. She knew she needed to be resting, but she couldn't just sit by and rest when he was suffering so much. It was only when he mentioned that he would lay with her, that she nodded. Agreeing to lay down. "I would love that..." Grace winced slightly as she moved back into the bed, laying her head down on a pillow with a soft sigh. Even though she had been assaulted, the thing she wanted most right now was to be with him, the one guy she had ever been with that never physically hurt her.

He laid back against the bed after Grace laid down. After a minute he rolled onto his side to hold her. He nestled his head against hers. He didn't like the scent of the hospital shampoo. It wasn't Grace's shampoo, it wasn't the scent he had come to love and associate with her.

Regardless Orion cuddled Grace and closed his eyes. He doubted he would sleep, even if he did he knew it would not be restful or refreshing. He took comfort in the warmth and closeness of Grace. She was alive, that was one small thing he had to be grateful for. Even if he did not deserve her, he had her.

At this point he would do whatever he had to just to keep her. He realized if Grace left he would really have nothing other then what was left of the broken MC. Orion had no idea is Jasper or Lincoln would stick around. They both had their own losses to deal with, and if they choose to leave for a while. Well he couldn't say he would blame them. If that was an option for him he knew he would take it in a heartbeat. It was not an option though, Grace was here. Grace was pregnant with his child and he had to really step up and protect them better then he had been.

Jasper nodded, set his drill and bit set on the table next to his cut, and leaned against the wall.He waited and watched as Dereck grated the man's kneecaps. There was blood and teeth already on the floor and all over Dereck. Torture sounded great for this sick fu*k. He felt the rage that Dereck felt.

When Dereck walked away from the man, stating it was Jasper's turn he pushed away from the wall. Jasp grabbed the hammer and a few metal stakes that sat on the table. He didn't want this thing moving a bit when he drilled holes into him. So before he started his real torture, he staked both hands of the man together, as well as his feet. Jasper ignored the screams that came from the man. When that work was finished, he set the hammer back on the table, and grabbed his drill and bit set. He picked a medium bit and placed it in the drill before moving back to Tommy. Jasper could get a new drill and bits anytime. This was a special occasion. With the drill in his hands, Jasper first drilled holes into the man's feet, before moving up the man's body to his stomach, then up father to his arms and hands. So by the time he stepped away, and turned off his drill the man in front for them was filled with small holes he was slowly bleeding out of.

His blue eyes looked to Dereck's, Thanks, man. He's yours again." He certainly had felt better after that. Of course it still felt hollow knowing the baby was gone and Cadie wanted nothing to do with him. Plus there was no way this man could pay for what he had done to Orion's kid.

Lyn laid on the couch, staring at the moving pictures on the screen. She knew Dereck was right, she had to move on, put this all behind her no matter how horrible it was. This wasn't the first time she had been hurt. Ok by far was the worst, but she had always bounced back. She had to this time as well, even if she had caused people to die for the first time. She smiled a little as she thought of what her grandmother in Minnesota would do. She would slap her behind and tell her to get back to work. The self pity time was through for her.

And so she let herself cry one last time in the last 24 hours. She had already cried more today than she had in the last ten years! She hated it. Crying wasn't something Lyn did on a normal basis. This time the tears streaking down her face were not for herself. They were for everyone they had lost because of her. Orion's baby child. Dereck's men. Cadence's unborn baby. Her cousin Kennedy. If she hadn't come back to Shadow Creek there was a good chance they all would still be alive because Dylan would probably not have come to the Creek. She hadn't thought he would follow her here, or even do what he had done, or bring so many other people into it all. Sure after she had broken up with him, he had come and found her at random times. Sometimes to take her somewhere like they were dating, others to yell, scream, hit, and throw things at her. But never anything like this.

Breathing out a breath, Lyn sat up. She wiped her tears away. It was a good thing the hospital had told her work she wouldn't be in today, and that tomorrow was her day off. She had two days to get herself together before needing to return to work. And then would take off whatever else she needed for the funerals.

Standing, Maralyn moved from the couch to the bathroom with her phone starting the music app, stripping, and unwrapping the bandages from her midsection. Looking in the mirror before she stepped into the shower, she winced at Dylan's name carved in her back. Lyn figured once that healed, she would get a large trampstamp to cover that ugly name. She wouldn't wear his name name forever. No she'd stick that to him. The brand marks were a different story. She wasn't sure what she would do with those. Maybe the one on her chest she could get covered, but the other on her pelvic area...

After she stepped out of the shower, Lyn changed again into some yoga pants and a loose short sleeve sweat shirt. Loose clothing would probably be her choice for a while at least. Lyn went to the kitchen next. She got herself a glass of water with ice cubes, before she took out that cookie dough roll from a few nights ago and began making some cookies. Lincoln would need something to cheer him up when she saw him. Although Lyn wasn't sure if anything really would.

Grace had not realized just how tired she was, until she felt Orion wrap his arms around her. From his touch, she was finally able to let herself completely relax. Even after being rescued from that place, she never felt like she could relax. She was in the hospital getting poked and prodded and was stressed out to the max. Now that she was back in a familiar place, with her security blanket wrapping his arms around her, she nuzzled her face into his neck. After a few silent moments, she found herself drifting off to sleep, unable to keep her eyes open any longer. Grace slept most of the night, but woke up from a nightmare about the situation. She sat straight up in bed, covered in a night-sweat and shaking uncontrollably. The swift motion of her sitting up caused a shooting pain in her side. She had no time to even react as she immediately began to sob, and quickly moved from her bed into the shower, with all of her clothes on. The only thing she could see when she closed her eyes was his face, and her blood. Grace turned the shower on and immediately sat underneath the water, with her knees pulled to her chest, and her forehead on her knees.

Dereck was watching as Jasper worked on the man, while simultaneously texting with Nate. While Dereck had been here with Tommy, he had Nate sitting outside of Lyn's apartment, watching her. Making sure that nobody would try to come after her. It wasn't until Jasper finished that Dereck smirked, nodding to him. "He better pray that he doesn't live to see tomorrow." Dereck grabbed his cut, making sure to put his cigarette out on Tommy before walking out of the room with Jasper, side by side. He was silent for a few moments, and when they reached the parking lot, Dereck rubbed the back of his neck. "Let Orion know my men will be there to support him for the funerals, and you all are welcome to do the same for TJ and Snake." He clenched his jaw before nodding a silent 'goodbye' to Jasper and he hopped onto his bike. There was only one person on his mind right now.

It didn't take him but five minutes to get to Lyn's place, where he dismissed Nate and walked up to the door, knocking softly. He did not want to alarm her, so he spoke against the door. "Lyn, it's me. Can I come in?" He rested his forehead against the door, listening to see if she was coming to let him in, or if she might be asleep.

~Cadence Jaycey Sinclaire-Caine~

Lena and Cadence were home, or in Lena's home. For Cadence it was a very surreal feeling. She had sworn to herself she would never set foot in that house again years ago. She had not set foot in there since she was 15 years old. So it had been 8 years since she had been in that house. Lots of things had changed.

The walls showed the passage of time. Before Cadence could truly examine the photos on the wall and on the shelves a boy of about seven came running in from the kitchen.
"Mommy!" He yelled happily as he launched himself at Lena. Cadie watched the boy silently. She had met her younger half brother a handful of times. All before he could even walk. It was old to be facing her half brother after having never really thought about him after she closed that chapter of her life.

Lena hugged the boy in returned, and leaned down to kiss the top of his head. Cadence watched and felt very uncomfortable. Like she was a stranger and shouldn't be here. Lena took the little boy's hand and lead him back toward Cadence who was watching with a look she really could not decipher. Cadie looked away quickly and Lena realized with a bit of sadness that Cadence was embarrassed by the personal moment. She felt bad that her own child felt uncomfortable around her, around her own, around her brother.

Cadence tried to remember how long it had been since her Mother had hugged her prior to today? Or kissed her head? Hell, how long had it been since anyone touched her in a nonsexual manner? Her Aunt hugged her often. She was the only person that had a continued interest in her and her life. That was a knife to her heart, realizing her Aunt was gone. She would never call Cadence again demanding a new photo of her, or an update on her life.

Lena would be sure to work hard at changing those things for her daughter. She stopped in front of Cadence, the boy had his Mother's stunning odd eyes. He was eyeing Cadence with sudden interest.
"How did you get hurt?" He asked as he noticed her bandaged feet and batter face. Cadence looked down. Allowing her dark hair to make a curtain about her face. She was very much aware of how disgusting she looked.
"I fell down a really big flight of stairs..." She answered calmly. He did not need to know the truth. He was a child after all.
"Remember i told you about you big sister Cadence?" He nodded his head.
"This is her." His eyes widened and he looked excited.
"Is she going to stay with us?!" He asked clearly pleased with the idea.
"For a little while...until I am feel better." Cadence replied, not wanting her Mother to think this was a long term thing. She was already struggling with being in this house.

Her Mother helped her to her room, and Cadence was surprised it was as she had left it. Nothing at all had been changed. It was like some weird snap shot of her life at 15. Her Mother changed the sheets and opened up the window for Cadence. Tyson peeked around her room curiously.
"I have never been allowed in here..." He stated as he opened her closet and peeked in. Cadie was surprised by this information.

Lena shooed the boy out, and helped Cadence unpack some. It was clear she didn't want to leave Cadence just yet, but Cadie really just wanted to be alone. She was still in a great deal of pain. She was ready to take a Perc and sleep into the next day.
"I am going to lay down for a while..." Cadence finally said as a way of hinting that she wanted to be alone.

Once her Mother was gone, and the door firmly closed behind her Cadence was free to cry again. She did cry, and cry. Finally tired out from all her crying she made her way to her bathroom. She popped a pill and swallowed it with a handful of water from the sink. She washed her face and painfully made it back to the bed. She pulled her quilt from the end of the bed where her Mother had laid it. She laid down and pulled her quilt about her. It smelled like home, and allowed her to relax enough until the pill kicked in and knocked her out till the next day.

~Candie~

But you gotta search within you, you gotta find that inner strength
And just pull that sh*t out of you and get that motivation to not give up
And not be a quitter, no matter how bad you wanna just fall flat on your face and collapse.
