He didn't have his sword, that gone to Forera, but he still has his upper body strength and fists. Watching to make sure he wasn't in front of Luxara's aim, he dashed in, giving him a nice punch to the face. He ******** deserved it.
"Do you want to go back in? Or do you want to keep moving out?" He asked Luxara, shifting on his feet. Kursha deserved to ******** drop but he cared more about what the one person he badly affected.
Being as agile as he could, Zindel bounded over the upcoming pitfalls, not letting himself dwell on how easy it'd be for him to fall down from the high cliffs. However, when he sprinted past a pit with threatening spikes jutting out on the bottom, all Zin could think of was how scared he was, and he stopped. Unfortunately for him, his body tilted forward, leaving the redblood to wobble a little before pushing a ton of force on his hips, trying to get himself to fall backwards instead.
Zindel sure fell backwards of course. Straight into another pit.
With spikes.
His screams echoed in the cavern for a few more minutes before he gained the strength to dislodge a particularly sharp one that pierced his back.
It was a good feeling of teamwork Vremea felt when Zeffer helped her out by electrocuting the other trolls. Her anger toward him had lessened considerably, which was good, considering their previous feelings toward each other. It went without saying she was impressed by his fighting. She only hoped this kept up-- Maybe they could be civil toward each other, even... Comrades. Only time would tell. Slamming her weapon again into the drone for good measure, Vremea let out a loud sigh. "Thank you," She said, then nodded at Zeffer, keeping a close eye on Maneki on the ground. "And yes, definitely! Let us keep at it!"

sorry, mom called me over! seriously, dont worry hehe, you're good! <3 sorry if i slow down a little though!!
Just as the second drone went down, another quickly came back. She hissed a noise of disapproval and punched it in the face with her weapon. This was not the time!
"Afryse!" Hemera had been following the best she could, Pagoni keeping her safe all the while. Then Witikodad had to do something reckless. She ran over, feeling deja vu. She was still feeling the horror when Afryse tried helping Witikodad again. "I can use my cold to help in places. You just need to tell me where. And he needs to take it easy."
As always, there were drones. "Please help us! They're too much for our lusii! Don't let innocent children fall victims to this witch's actions!" HP: 40/40 Encouraged drone: +1
Maneki took deep breathes and tried to stay xalm. Was mom hurt? She was going to get really hurt and they couldn't stop it from happening. He was antes to cry, but forced it below. He was antes oil be brave and calm.
ODETTE IS ATTACKING KURSHA Odette is disguised and wearing a mask
The sound of Maneki's frazzled cries startled Odette, turning to face the angry child. He was closely guarded, but Odette still feared for him. His battle cries incited her, though, pushed her to keep fighting. They had so much to fight for, friends, hope, the mother grub. Odette couldn't give up.
The redblood charged at Kursha once more, diving around behind him and jabbing at the back of his knees. If only she could just knock him down...

∞ Ephias Sagine
Health: 12 Defensive B Trinket: 1/1 Support A Artefact: 1/1
Aside from her mutant hue, there was very little Ephias knew about the leader of Phoenix Initiative. If nothing else though, he had respect for her combat ability as well as courage. She was the primary target for the military attack, and yet she was holding her ground to allow her followers to pass to safety. That alone spoke volumes of her character.
When a hot bolt penetrated his arm, Ephias snarled and ripped the offending object out, never minding how his skin sizzled against the metal. If she had faith in the, the least he could do was place his faith in her. Continuing the retreat, he slapped an advancing drone across the face with the flat of his shears.

Karrem is encouraging a drone!
HP: 25/40
Karrem had ignored a bleeding drone laying on the land, as she had assumed it had crawled on land and died. However, when she turned and faced it again, it had moved its position! She quickly rushed over it and then brought her hand in front of its face. When its head followed her waving at it, she curved her pointer finger with her thumb and delivered a flick right between the drone's eyes. "Do you really not care about your queen and planet that much? How shameful! Get to work or I may as well kill you right here, because a drone not working is good as dead! You aren't that injured, you can still fight, so get on with it!"

This is the LAST ROUND! It will continue for 3h, then something will happen? You've come so far, keep going!
There are 27 drones collapsed from fatigue! 23 drones get back up, encouraged to keep fighting for the last round! Byakko takes 79 extra damage!
Please post the boss you are attacking in your initial post, and edit immediately for damage done! If posts do not have damage filled in within 10/20 minutes they will have to be overlooked.
If you have not posted in the previous rounds: Now is your time to decide what team to be on. Your first attack will decide what group you are fighting on, attack Kursha to be on the side of the rebels, and Byakko to be on the side of the royalists.
All posts must have minimum two sentences of writing in them to count towards growth/meta rewards.
Quote:
Royal Drone Forces: 79/120 The amount of remaining Drones is the amount of extra damage Byakko takes at the start of every new round, starting at round 2. Kids can either sic their Lusii (or unleash tumbling ball deaths) onto these drones, or cheer them on from the sidelines, encouraging them to get back in the fight!
Rebel kids: At each half hour, roll 1d4. That is the amount of drones that you have taken out through whatever tactic you chose! They truly are the storm troopers of Alternia. Royalist kids: At each half hour, post a flavour text of your troll keepint out of trouble's way and encouraging the drones to keep fighting in their own special way. For each kid that posts their cheering, a drone will re-join the battle!
The greenblood was barely recogniseable. He was spattered with blood, no small amount of which was his own. What was not drenched in blood had been blackened by fire and ashes. Gone was the composure from before. Breathing hard and stumbling, he barely looked able to keep himself upright. His face, feral and wild, was twisted by rage. Even the crosshairs in his eyes had since dimmed.
As they approached the end of the tunnel however, a change came over him.
Lowering the crossbow, Kursha paused in his assault. His expression turned blank. For a long moment, he did not move. Then, suddenly he threw back his head and laughed. The sound of his voice pierced the air like shattering glass and rang down the corridor. Shoulders shaking, he simply stood there, laughing hysterically. The crossbow slipped from his fingers and clattered to the ground. It looked for all the world like he had finally snapped.
“I’ve gotta admit, I’m impressed,” he said at last, taking in a deep breath. “I didn’t really expect you to hold out for this long, but it’s been a good run. You’ve earned my respect. Congratulations.” He smiled. Then, inclining his head towards the remaining drones, Kursha placed two fingers between his lips, and let out a whistle. Behind him, there was movement in the ranks.
“As much fun as I’ve had, here’s where I’m callin’ it,” he continued. “Sorry if you thought you actually stood a chance. I might have led you on a bit. My bad.” There was an audible ‘thud’ as a troll deposited an enormous gun beside him. Grunting, Kursha hefted it over one shoulder. Giving a bloody grin, he pointed the barrel towards the remaining rebel forces. “You guys were dead from the start. You just didn’t know it.”
He squeezed the trigger. There was a hiss and a sound like a scream. Then the warhead crashed into the cavern wall. The resulting explosion rocked the cavern. Coils of flame raced down the tunnel as debris rained down like deadly missiles. “Adios, suckers!”
If you rolled a 1, the tunnel is too narrow and there is no where to run! You can only watch in dread as the warhead sails into the wall behind you, and then your world becomes engulfed in flames. Take 7 damage and deal no damage this attack. If you rolled a 2, in addition to the flying debris, the force of the explosion shakes loose the stalactites overhead. Within moments you find yourself half-buried beneath an enormous pile of rock. Under the weight of it all you can feel yourself slowly being crushed. Take 6 damage and deal -1 damage each half-hour. If you rolled a 3, over the roar of fire and the thunder of the falling rubble, you hear a what sounds like a shrill scream. You turn just in time to see a flaming piece of shrapnel before it spears into your chest. Take 5 damage. If you rolled a 4, through the smoke, a fiery figure races towards you, emitting an animalistic scream that curdles your blood. Before you can escape, they grab ahold of your shoulders with a loud wail. A second later the sound trails to a whimper and then dies in their throat, as the figure slumps over. Beneath the flames, you can make out the military insignia. Take 3 damage. If you rolled a 5, only through sheer luck do you avoid sustaining heavy damage. Thrown to the ground during the missile’s impact, the flames from the explosion roll over you. As you realize how close you came to brushing hands with death, adrenaline floods your system. Take 3 damage. Deal +1 damage on all successful attacks, including this one, for this round. If you rolled a 6, Kursha squeezes the trigger, and you’re off like a bullet. As the explosion booms behind you, you jump into the air. Riding the resulting blast wave, you fly towards Kursha and dropkick him him in the chest. The attack knocks him flat on his back and leaves him prone. Take 1 damage. Deal double damage this attack.
Half hour options: Fight! Teens and up can choose to attack Kursha once every half hour, as normal. Teens and up can also attack trolls on the other side as though they were fighting in a normal battle thread, however they will not be able to attack children as their Lusii will shield them from harm. If you want to attack other trolls, please read the PVP rules below to keep the battle controlled, fair, and friendly. Assist! Kids can roll 1d4 every half hour to get their lusus to take out some of those annoying drones! Whatever number they roll is the amount of drones they take out with their lusus-jitsu.
The next area smelled sickly sweet. Your feet squelched in unidentifiable goop that pooled in depressions on the cave floor- it seemed to be lathered on every possible surface. Suspiciously enough, the winding tunnels which had been barren of anything other than the cries of warfare were now littered with broken furniture and smashed wooden crates. Tinder.
Byakko tugged out a small box from her blood soaked robes, leaving a smeared trail of pink behind as she fled. After furiously discarding several soggy matches onto the ground, she gripped at one that remained in tact, sparking it against the wall. There was an equally ablaze ferocity in her eyes when she stopped and turned to face the loyalist forces.
Staggering, she rose her fist and maliciously brandished the flickering match. "You really don't have any intention on giving up!? If you're that eager to throw your lives away, then you can all burn right here." Her blood curdling threat roared throughout the narrow cavern, echoing down the tunnels.
She dropped the match. It ignited in a brilliant circle around the Initiative's leader, casting a hellish shadow across the mutantblood's ever glowering face. "Die." The torrid air sucked the flames towards the wall of fire from Kursha's warhead, exploding upon impact in a brilliant storm.
If you rolled a 1 one of the rebels turned to fling an open flask of the primitive napalm directly at you. You were absolutely soaked- and when Byakko dropped the match and ignited the floor, parts of you went up in flame with it. The pain was beyond unbearable... until you felt nothing at all. Take 7 damage and deal none this attack. If you rolled a 2, not realizing what it was, you had naively managed to get the sticky crap all over your clothes. They were definitely not fire retardant. The scorching fabrics melted, charring your exoskeleton as they clung onto you in a searing embrace. Time to stop drop and roll. You take 3 damage. You take 2 damage the first three half-hour posts this round. If you rolled a 3 ducking behind a wooden box to escape the inferno, you were surprised to see it was an old shipping crate for fireworks. For a split second you wonder what the rebellion would ever need them for- then the box exploded in a brilliant, blinding flash of light. Smaller balls of fizzing light whizzed off in various directions, igniting smaller fires where they landed. That's why. Take 5 damage. If you rolled a 4 the wall of fire comes straight at you. Paralysed by fear of your impending demise, you freeze. A drone roughly shoves you out of the way, pressing you both against the side of the tunnel. The flames lick at your back, but all you feel is the chill of death. Deal 1 less damage this attack, and take 3. If you rolled a 5, noting that the rebels had been carefully avoiding the liquid, you had wisely done the same. Dodge rolling away from the incoming blaze, you leap to your feet unscathed and thirsty for revenge. Deal 2 extra damage this attack, and take 3. If you rolled a 6 bursting through the flames, mostly unsinged, you find yourself locked in combat with the rebel leader herself. You land a succession of devastating blows against her battered frame, until one of the rebels rushes to defend her. Take 1 damage. Deal +1 damage for each half-hour attack.
Half hour options: Fight! Teens and up can choose to attack Byakko once every half hour, as normal. Teens and up can also attack trolls on the other side as though they were fighting in a normal battle thread, however they will not be able to attack children as their Lusii will shield them from harm. If you want to attack other trolls, please read the PVP rules below to keep the battle controlled, fair, and friendly. Assist! Kids can cheer their team on, encouraging the drones to stay in the fight! For each 5 posts (between all kids, not individuals) one drone that has been knocked out of the fight will get back up and fight on.

PVP rules:
PVP is separate from boss mechanics, and you do not need to wait half-hours between each attack. You can also continue to attack the boss at half hour intervals.
If you want other trolls to attack your troll, or if you want to attack other trolls you must put this code in your posts whenever you are ready to join the player vs player fray - once you have put it in you must keep it in for the rest of the battle! There is no off switch. Welcome to the ride. By putting this in your post you signify you have read, are aware of, and will follow the rules below to keep things in the battle organized and smooth. Rule breakers will get suspended from the meta so please make sure to only use this option if you are prepared to pay extra attention during the battle.
1) Only attack other trolls with the PVP TROLL sign in their posts. 2) Do not ignore people who have attacked you. You can choose to not attack back, but your troll must be aware of, and react to attacks from others. 3) Once you have attacked a PVP troll, do not attack any other PVP troll unless A) in response to someone else attacking you or B) the person you attacked has replied to you. 4) If the person who you attacked did not attack you back in their reply you can not attack them again, and may either wait for an attack or find a new target. 5) Do not attack someone who has not posted in over 3h unless you have received prior permission from them to engage. 6) Always quote the person you are currently attacking.
Voscil watched as Athene was healed, a curious look in her eyes as she moved quickly from one spot to the next trying to see what was going on. What was that thing she'd used? It looked really neat! The trinket was returned, and with it the pain the greenblood seemed to be feeling. "Did..that heal you?" She sounded surprised her mouth widening in an 'o' shape as she tilted her head.
Seeing a few drones creeping up on Reemus as he fought, she leapt forward in a bolt of electric sparks leaping on top of a drone and pounding on it's skull repeatedly in an attempt to take it down. She sat on top of the downed drone beaming proudly. "I got your back!" Voscil looked at the other as he slid down, quickly crawling over to him to help the other stand back up and lean into his lusus.
Her lusus looked on with curious surprise. She'd been about to take out that very drone herself. She looked pleased...her child was beginning to really grow up faster than she was ready for.
Eostre was determined to get this mission over. Once again, she'd followed the Queen to her own detriment, and she wanted to get this problem taken care of so she can just... just go home. She got burned fairly badly by the fireworks, but not enough to stop her. Nothing would stop her!

Ducking under Machim as a particularly nasty looking rebel was sent soaring over him, Hazmas paused, momentarily losing their his bearings. Where had the buzzbeast kid gone? Or had he gotten himself turned around? It was only with a hoot from Machim that the young troll was able to sort himself out.
"Get in there, and get those hosers!" he called to a drone as he ran past, hoping his encouragement would help. Hazmas encourages +1 Drone
There were things that you expected in battles. There were some things you didn't expect. Warheads were not one thing she expected. The explosion flung Milieu like a ragdoll, her body slammed against the walls. Wordlessly crying out, milieu drug herself from the fire. Oddly, other than that initial impact she as fine.
And being fine meant she could unleash hell on kursha. Snarling, she lunged, a smirk of pur hate fixed on her face. There wasmore green on her body than teal, and for that she was wildly proud. If she could kill him, she would be happier than she had ever been,

Poeias tries to follow Kursha with Lanata down the narrow tunnel. An explosion throws him off of Lanata's back, and she steps over him just in time to shield him from the flames and crashing wall chunks, her senses being much sharper than his. While injured badly, she's alive. "The flames, Lanata! We gotta get out of here," he cried, trying to get her to stand back up. He couldn't let this happen to her, not now, not like this...
