LadyJedi's shop is having an AWSOME easter egg hunt.
All you have to do is randomly draw a 25, 50, 75, or a 100 from a random number of 1-100. If you do you get an egg heart
We really want some more people taking advantage of us having fun searching for eggs. THe link is in my sig.

After another wonderful phonecall today, things are looking bleak. I'm going to try to focus and read and catchup today...but at this point, I feel like dying so I'm going to lie down.

Another question about dialogue! XP what if Prof X is talking to us? Do we will that in? Cause I notice that Lady Jedi will fill it in sometimes....

If you make Xavier talk to your character, then you will and generally can fill in the blanks to the conversation. I only use NPCs when I'm directing the plot with a particular character.
Xavier also isn't very active in the game. He's taken a back seat to the current staff. Scott and Emma run the school.

Okay, Dan, just cause I'm in a great mood, I'll give you a little outline of my character.
Gale (Call name FAUX) has only one power, that is being able to copy a mutant's powers. This may seem very God-moddy, but she has restrictions. For now, the Mutant who's power she's copying has to be in the same area, She has to be able to see the power at work to copy it, and she can't remember a power and copy it later without the mutant there. The only exception is her odd habit of levitating just a little bit, aparantly because it was the very first power so it stuck the deepest.
Powers are currently kept under control by a new-fangled bracer on her wrist, because previously, adrenaline or extremes of emotion would spark off her mirroring. She's a very...'adaptable' person, can change easily, and as far as I know, the only Bisexual girl in the academy. All 'round Awws, please. <3
(I call that brief? good lord.)

alrighty.
Laura is an animal... no really. Her power is that she can change into any animal she wants even mythical.
She doesn't have a loverly relationship with her parents considering they abandoned, moved, shot and (most recently) tried to turn her away from her mutancy which if she doesn't have she's deaf, blind, and extremely sick.
And yeah.... thats about it.

Yea, I read the bio forum quite frequently to keep track of everybody.
Penance has a few roles at the Institute. She's the main teacher for the New Mutants (since Dani does the administrative work), an X-Man, and the literature & outdoor activity teacher for the Institute. She was a student of the Xavier Institute when she was younger which led her to become an X-Man and work for the school. While she was a student at the Institute, that is when she and Jacen (Wraith) began their relationship.
Penance's main abilties have always been heightened senses, strength, agility, durability, etc. along with self healing. It was known that she could block telepaths from reading her thoughts as well. But during this recent attack by Jean on her, I let it be established that Penance really does have some psi abilities. She chose at a young age to invert her abilities to block people from her mind. Her psi abilities don't extend beyond telekenesis and making small mental connections with people if she wants.

Whooh, everyone is sharing there powers and other little tidbits of info, so I need to join in.
Kirsal's powers are light manipulation through a telephatic comuntication link with the light molocules. She speaks to them through that link, and normally she can coax them into doing whtever she wants them to, i.e. solidating, translucentness, scouting, shields, ect. Just ask her and she'll never shut up. She can use any light whatsoever except maybe from holograms, she doens't know how to do those, they have to much life in them, and the light is filtered so much it doesn't cooperate well. (I know what you're all thinking: Wow, Diz lost it, she's giving the light a persona.) Kirsal is mean (sometimes), afraid of the dark, and the only sexually asaulted member of Academy X that I know of.
