Monster didn't need to be told twice as he attempted to pick up Evangeline off the mattress, just barely picking her and getting her into the safe room in a panic and collapsing onto the floor with her. "Close it, close it!"

Cae broke into an awkward run upon seeing a number of tasty-looking people up ahead. Nothing mattered in that moment except catching up with them and sinking her teeth into their sweet, sweet flesh.
She caught up just as they got back inside the safe room, but before the door was closed. In an impressive display of energy for a member of the undead, she picked up speed and lunged into the room.

Orrin rubbed his head. This was all very confusing. "Aren't hedgehogs... s-s-smaller...?" He remembered stepping on a hedgehog once. Quite unpleasant. Though at least he'd never have to worry about stepping on this big guy, which made him quite happy.
Bats, however, he had never had a bad encounter with. Nor had they ever spoken to him before. "D-d-do bats usually speak?", he asked, feeling somewhat uncertain.
Suddenly, there was a whole lot of screaming and running going on, which not even his waken state could cope with. But he saw the hedgehog man collapse with his lady, for reasons he did not understand, so he offered his hand to help him up.

One of the humans who had just run in the door was distracted by moving some heavy object, and didn't seem to notice Cae's entrance. Perfect. One tackle later, and for the second time since this whole fiasco started, there was a hungry grombie on top of Minty.

Cheerfully flaps and glides around the room.
"Well this bat does, not all are as special as Batty is~! Mintychu!"
Glides down to pick up the dart pushing it into it's pouch for safe keeping, half tempted to crawl into itself but then it would have no way back in to play with everyone.
The scents were off from the hallway as two familiar scents of friends could be smelled but it seems to be what was making everyone acting super serious.

"FOR THE LOVE OF THE SEA!" Minty yelled, more exasperated than frightened, "DID SOMEONE STICK A 'BITE ME' SIGN TO MY BACK OR SOMETHING?"
Minty grappled with Cae, trying to keep her teeth away from her flesh, "BATTY, I WILL GIVE YOU SO MANY THINGS FOR A CURE RIGHT NOW. THE BIGGEST STRAWBERRY CAKE YOU HAVE EVER SEEN."
Monster took Orrin's hand and let him help him up, then quickly went to do as Minty told and helped Batty, when from behind he didn't notice until it was too late that Cae had gotten in. "Minty!" He rushed at Cae and tried to force her off of Minty.

Daenes had continued to tail Sweet Freak the whole way here, though now she hesitates a small distance away as she spots Caedere a head as well. She frowns, surveying the scene and trying to decide her best course of action. Until Caedere started going for the door. "Oh, ******** everything!" She breaks into a run, dashing past Sweet Freak and towards the door, hoping she can get there and slip in after the grombie murderess.

Suddenly, an undead woman threw herself onto Miss Minty. This, he would not tolerate. "NO!", he shout, as if though he was scolding a misbehaving mutt. He then grabbed the nearest object and rammed it at the raging grombie.

The door was all it needed momentarily shifting to a human like form to link it and opened the door hopping inside of it, the door shut and the small bat was gone to go work on things for Minty because well.. cake.. and a really big cake at that! How can a small fruit bat say no? Though it did feel a little bad about leaving everyone. As the door fell flesh opening it would just show nothing at all only Batty can use it's linked door properly.
(I Shall return to a bloody mess from the look of things.. oh god oh god lmao... >.>)

There was screaming, and struggling, and all the things Cae would have loved in life. Now, though, it was just a hindrance that needed to be gone. Right away.
While still attempting to hold Minty down, she kicked at Monster. Then Orrin came onto the scene, and the grombie felt something hard and heavy hitting her. She looked up and hissed, but made no attempt to move.

For the brief moment that the grombie looked at him, his already cold blood froze. It gave off the most horrifying memories he ever knew, like reliving the nightmare all over again. Snapping out of it, he could think of only one thing to do...
Throwing himself at Cae, Orrin sunk his teeth into her shoulder, only hoping she could still feel pain.
