((I would continue with what I was doing...but...I can't seem to think of what I was planning to do with Shiko...i planned the escape, albeit a semi-ruined escape...but I can't remember what was Shiko's fate...and being in the middle of finals right now...all I can gather the brainpower to do is keep the inn and team threads going...sorry...I'll get cracking at it soon...))

*Tate emerged from his tunnel and arrived at the site of where the remainder of his minions were keeping the raging kazekage active while healing their many wounds...*
*Tate looked at the raging Kazekage, trapped helplessly in a sand tomb that would have been too strong for her to break out of in her current form...and being that she is unwilling to change into dragon form or summon Kotoro like he'd wished for, he looked upon her with a feeling of hatred...at her current strength, she's useless to him...*
*Tate approached Shiko, and with some of his remaining chakra, created a field around the Kazekage that eliminated her outgoing dragon chakra, along with some of his as well, but being that she cannot call upon the dragon chakra again so quickly, he had the upper hand...the sand tomb dissipated within the field...*
*Tate grabbed Shiko by the throat and slammed her hard against the stone wall of his current hiding spot and he held her there...*
Tate: you...are weak...Do not disappoint me again when we next meet...
*with that, he stepped back, still holding Shiko by the throat, and slammed her once again against the stone wall...cracking it...he then let her fall to the floor...several smoke bombs rolled between the two, and when the smoke cleared, Tate and his nin were gone...*

Youzai: Tate-sama, are you sure it was wise to let her go free like that? I mean...we could have tortured her to become her dragon form and then you could have then captured her power...
Tate: no...keeping her would not provide the desired result...if we keep the Kazekage, then all of Sand Village's shinobi, along with quite a few ally shinobi will be hunting us down...and with our current condition, we'd take out 15% of them at max...This way, we only have to deal with smaller hunter-nin squads...besides...maybe it's time to work on our anti-water techniques...
::Meanwhile...back in Konoha::
*several Shinobi, including Shunketsu, were in the academy lunchroom, where they were taking a break from the swarms of small potential shinobi...*
Shinobi 1: did you hear the reports? Sand Village was attacked and suffered heavy losses...but they won the battle somehow...however, rumor has it that the Kazekage is still reported missing...
Shinobi 2: no way! who could have led such an attack? and take out almost a whole village??
Shinobi 1: Potensharu Tate...but I hear he escaped...
*quick glances were directed at Shunketsu*
Shunketsu: I wonder if the Kazekage even remembered my Fuuma Shuriken...the blade on that Fuuma Shuriken was actually a pattern that matched Tate's chakra armor and would have thus penetrated it...Tate should have been history if she used that!
*Shunketsu banged his fist on the table in frustration over hearing that his brother still lives...he then stormed off down the hall, away from his fellow shinobi*

Areno's interim stay at the hospital wasn't a long one, just enough time for the doctors and medi-nin to attend to his Chakra exhaustion and unhealed wounds... a day, at best.
He was quickly on his feet again, with one goal in mind. Areno had gone to visit Medi-nin HQ and set up an appointment for an ocular transplant operation. When it was revealed that the replacement eyes he had in his possession were Byakuugan, he was ushered to the top of the list.
So he waited three days for the Medi-nin to finish with the civilian casualties and underwent the operation successfully. Which was a surprise in itself, as the surgeons believed that the bloodtype the eyes were born of would not match with the young Kaguya's, and be rejected. Fortunately for him, they hadn't counted on just what his body was capable of, and the eyes were cultivated in his own blood for some time as the nerves began to attach themselves to his own and link into his Chakra coils over time.
That was two days ago, as Areno had needed some time to become accustomed to his new eyes, and his body needed time to rest. But he was happy, and eager to master his new abilities. Now, the Genin was already back on his feet and helping his fellow Sand-nin comb the streets and tunnels for traps and enemy ninja.

As soon as news of the Kazekage's kidnapping had reached into her cabinet, the SAWA had been dispatched to find her immediately, including Areno's father, Karakaze.

::Kazekage got up very slowly looking around her. *thinks* Where am I? If those two brats think they are going to make me transform or bring out Kotoro they are wrong! Wait a second, didn't Shunketsu give me a shuriken to ward off Tate? Curses!! That was left in my office!* Kazekage cursed at herself for being such an idiot and causing more problems. She sat down sadly, trying to regain her chakra.*thinks* Why did you allow me to become Kazekage? I was meant to die as a Shinuki! Is this your last final way of saying Shinuki's should die?*::

Mizukage sent out his squad immediately for action, he sent half on a
small hunting party to see if they could find where any spies wre lurking and the rest were sent to find any clues as too the where abouts of the Kazekage, and whether or not she was safe..
He would have led them himself, but his injuries were more extensive than he'd first realised, as well as the fact he felt as if he might be needed around the village for the time being
Kazekage..no..Shiko-chan..Please be OK..

*The fight against Tate's raid was over...with search teams out to find the missing Kazekage, and with the Mizukage resting up in the village, a period of quiet was in sight...*

*A female officer pushes a few touch-screen panels on a podium-like control panel*
Female Commander: Confirming...Yes...we are just about a mile outside a village hidden in the sands like in His prophecy...your orders?
*a sole man sits in a captain's chair, resting his head on one hand, the other hand tapping the armrest...*
Man: My orders have always been the same...we must rid the world of all evil...Annihilate them...
arrow Back to the desert scene
*the sands shifted...as if something were emerging from below...a funneling effect seemed to occur as something silver and shiny started emerging from the center...it was a tip of a building of some sorts...and it grew taller and taller...and within a minute, an enormous, futuristic-looking tower stood in the desert where nothing but sand existed before...its base was huge...and at the base, hangar doors slowly opened...*

Female Voice 1: Affirmative! Attack Commencing!

*Heavily armored soldiers were the first to exit the hangar bay...about 100 on foot...they marched in 10 rows of 10, spaced well...The armor looked as if they belonged to England's Medieval Ages, except that on the front of each piece of armor was a special compartment of which a large semi-sphere of an orb was placed...there was a Ying-yang symbol within the orb...Weapons consisted of giant battleaxes, but instead of the usual rod-like center, at the tip existed a small sphere...from behind them came another 10 individuals...cloaked from head to toe in black...nothing about them was revealed...no sign of weapons or armor could be seen...just the black clothing...they all started their march towards the village...*

::Kazekage closed her eyes in pain.*thinks* I am so pathetic! What is the whole point of me living?! When I was younger, I was so much a stronger fighter! Did locking away my dragon form after my fathers death cause me to grow more weak? Am I not considered as a Shinuki no more?*::
