Memo ran out of his room with a snack cake in his mouth and Cererza on his head. He seemed rather excited and happy...as usual.
"Allen!"
He pounced on the boy and hugged him
"Chika!"

"Mm?" Allen had barely even registered that Memo had entered the room before the boy had jumped at him. "GRK! Hello!" Shuppet was behind the couch hiding quicker even than the eye could see.

"How was your day?"
He chimed as he leapt up and finished eating his cake. Cereza had noticed the Shuppet hide and motioned to Memo.
"Ah. Hehe."
The tall brunette sat down and waved over to the shy Ghost type.
"Would y'all like some cakes?"

"Oh, no, I just ate a little while ago." Allen chuckled, "Thanks though." He looked back at Shuppet, who peeked over the couch and nodded just barely. "It's been fine. After yesterday. today's been really slow. That battle was great. Took me a while to realize you were using Pokemon Contest tactics." He grinned, it felt somehow refreshing to battle like that, he wasn't sure why though.

Memo pushed his hair back and smiled to the Shuppet. He pulled another snack cake from his pouch. It was wrapped in a small handkerchief covered in small floral patterns.
"I just baked those today. I hope you enjoy it!."
He handed the cake to Cerexa who walked over to the Shuppet.
"I agree! You're a fantastic trainer yourself! I was definitely working for that battle!"
He tilted his head and gave a small giggle.
"Yes sir haha! I am indeed a coordinator. I'm glad you caught on."

"They do smell wonderful." Allen nodded as Shuppet took the package with her flowing body, quickly undid the napkin, and begun gobbling up the cake. She peeped in delight. "Thank you! I was wondering, see, we don't have many contests in Kalos, mostly only whenever is shown on television to be honest. Do you think you could show me the basics? I'm not too familiar with the rules or anything of the such."

"A Water-type? Mind telling me which one?" After witnessing how excited Memo had gotten, Ren could tell this was going to be one hell of an adventure.

The boy stood up and turned to see Ren and waved over to the boy.
"Hey come over!"
The boy then turned back to Allen and scratched his head.
"Ahehe sure I'd be glad to!"

More people had started to fill the place and instantaneously Memo had tackled them as if he hadn't seen them for the longest time. Is that what it's like to have friends...? he wondered. After a few exchange of words, Memo had motioned Ren to join the group.
At first, he was hesitant. He wasn't much of a social person, but given the fact that he agreed to help Memo he didn't have much of a choice. Closing the distance, Ren stood near Memo observing the rest of the trainers. He pulled out a stick of gum and stuck it in his mouth.
Oh lookie! More pokemon!! Cyanide waddled over to the Shuppet that was hiding from the world. Hello there!

"Great!" Allen grinned, he looked over to the other person and waved, "Name's Allen." He extended his hand in greeting but pulled up his guard, probably seeming like he was suspicious of the person even though he was trying to be inviting.
Shuppet smiled to herself, the cake was amazing. Once she finished, she pulled up the kerchief, examining it. It was really nice. "Peeett." She cooed softly, thanking Memo from over the couch. When the Croagunk approached and spoke up Shuppet jumped back. 'Y-You snuck up on me.' She whined, frightened of the new Pokemon. She whipped around the other side of the couch trying to get away from the Pokemon.

"Perhaps we can all go out together!?"
Memo jumped up a bit and wiggled with joy. Cereza noticed the Croagunk from last night and pounced on the bipedal pokemon with intense joy!
"I am most joyful to see you friend!"

The trainer Memo was speaking with had introduced himself as Ren made his way over. "Hi, my name's Ren." he started to take Allen's hand to shake it but he'd pulled away, second guessing about the greeting. Was he as anti-social as Ren? "Sure, sounds like a plan." he said in response to Memo's idea.
Oh sorry, didn't mean to sneak up to you. Cyanide made his way closer to the Shuppet but this time take small steps and giving time for the ghost puppet to get used to him. I'm just a friend... he said extending his arm. But failed as the Chikorita from earlier today had pounced on the poisonous frog and fell to the floor. Oh..it's you again. Nice to see you.

Allen's eyebrow raised as Ren withdrew his hand. Fair enough. He looked to Memo, "Fine by me. What did you have in mind?"
Shuppet hunkered down, not immediately believing the Croagunk. When Cereza pounced on the frog, she watched with curiosity how the scene would progress.

"I am most excited to see everyone!"
Cereza jumped in place excitedly. She waved over to the Shuppet to come closer. Memo sighed and pouted.
"Mmmm. I have no clue as of now? I was thinking about breaking into the Cerulean Gym to find a Water type?"
He stuck out his tongue and shrugged, waiting for the other boys to reply.

Cody popped his head into the common room, excited to see the commotion. He had overheard the ruckus from all the way down the hall, and had picked up the pace with Axew trailing behind. He gave an excited wave to mass greet the population. "Howdy, everyone!" he exclaimed, noticing Memo, the guy he had just met yesterday, and a new kid he had never seen before.
