I meant, more-so, that you are enjoying the fight because you were looking forward to it; a large part of how any interaction between people will go is all in the origin.
If you lead with good feelings, you're likely to get good feelings.
I've always been of the belief that if my character wants to win, then I have an obligation to play them that way. IRL, I'm actually a really non-confrontational guy. People joke about how, "On Gaia, you play this bone breaking monk who ends every fight covered in blood...his own, and his enemies...and yet you won't participate in PvP anything else."
Truthfully, for all my IRL experience on the subject, I'm not an especially violent guy. I don't like football, or wrestling, or UFC...But, in Role-Play, I challenge myself to step beyond what I want.
I look for something different; something outside myself.
Fighting to win, for the sake of my character, is a part of that.
