Never Again..."Very well," Herald replied, snapping his fingers. A portal quickly opened up, leading to the Streets of Death City. "We'll see what's there."[[exit to Streets of Death City]] Will I be bound in chains

Never Again...Herald stepped into the dimension, walking calmly through the field of flowers. Despite his grievous injuries he walked steadily due to the adrenaline still pumping through his body. He left a trail of blood on the grass, looking up at his fortress with a blank expression, still processing everything that had happened and his victory. Will I be bound in chains

☽ Emma appeared through the portal not too long after Herald did. She followed behind him quietly without saying anything and just observed some of Herald's injuries. Obviously he needed some sort of medical attention to help him. ☾

Never Again...Herald walked the winding steps up to the fortress, glancing back as he sensed Emma's presence. He said nothing as he reached the fortress gates, standing in front of the spirits waiting for him. As soon as he stopped they began to float around him, focusing on tending to his injuries. Slowly but surely he was being healed. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes, slowly releasing it. "I win," he said, though it was unclear whether he was speaking to Emma or just saying it. Will I be bound in chains

Never Again...Herald looked down at his arm as the spirits slowly began to regenerate it. There was a few minutes of silence. As his injuries began to fade he finally looked back at Emma. "That should be the end of it," he told her, referring to the animosity between him and Atticus. Will I be bound in chains

Never Again...Herald snorted. "Well I didn't mean right now," he told her as his arm finished healing. He wobbled slightly all of a sudden. The adrenaline was wearing off. Most of his injuries were healed though there were still a few that were bloody. "I've never fought that hard in my life," he admitted slowly. Will I be bound in chains

Never Again...As the last of Herald's wounds healed, the spirits began to focus on restoring energy. Of course, with the enormous amount of energy that Herald spent they couldn't restore it all but they could restore a chunk. He looked down at her as she touched his arm. "You shouldn't put yourself in danger like that," he told her. "You were too close to the explosion." He paused for a moment. "But I was glad that...you were there." Will I be bound in chains
