Teira squeaked with excitement. She very much wanted to see Maxi again!
"Yes! yes!"
She chirped enthusiastically, practically bouncing as she exuded energy. In her eagerness, she forgot her manners, this occurred to her a moment after and she managed to still herself, almost solemnly in her seriousness as she managed to correct herself...
"Ahh, Teira would like to see Maxi.... please? Very much!"
That should be right... right? She wondered. Hopefully Walter would approve of her attempt at lady-like-ness, she had even managed not to fidget for a whole minute after all!
She was rewarded by Walter asking D to show her the way. Grinning, she was about to say thank you, but as she opened her mouth to speak, D seized her hand and bounded off in the direction of his big brother's quarters. The words she had been about to speak died on her lips as she squeaked in surprise and managed to keep her balance somehow. Casting a look over her shoulder, her tail waved good bye to Walter and grinning, Teira looked ahead of her, her wings twitching with the desire to fly. It was SO much more fun than walking!!
But if D walked, so did she, and soon her quick steps turned to little skips and hops as she giggled.
"Walter ish funny!"
She mused as she pictured the old butler fussing over his monocle.

She was truly learning fast. Walter gave her an accepting nod to show her she had done well. And as she rushed off, just as she imagined Walter took the moment to fuss over his monocle getting it to sit just right before going back to garden work.
Yes! Waltewr and big brudder!
D would say back while zooming down the halls. He didnt know the place by heart persay, he knew it by feel. And he navigated the maze rather haphazardly, just barely missing a desk here, a table there. Flying truly would have been more fun, but Walter didnt allow D to skate in the house, it left horrible marks on the walls as D had not yet learned any method of stopping beyond crashing into his destination.
Still, it would be almost no time before they had arrived at a large set of double doors at the end of a long marble hall. A very large M had been engraved into the doors and as soon as they were within sight D slammed to a crawl, a mischievous grin sliding on his features, pointed white teeth creeping out from behind pale lips.
Wanna mess wif him?

Just outside the defensive sheilding of the island, Donner fell out of the wind blowing through the sky, holding Rae in his cool steel arm, Grace in his other, holding the women tightly to him to stop them from falling.
They would most likely receive a shock. Rae especially. One second they had been standing in the Stadium - the next they were miles upon miles above the sea, floating above what appeared to be a flying island with a windmill on one side...
Donner's feet hung limply beneath him. Was he...floating in mid air? John Tomorrow never had flying powers before...
He gave everything a moment to settle. Most likely Rae would have questions, or at least skreiks of protest. Donner didn't know Grace, so who knows what she would do. But mostly, now he was here...how did he get Rae down to the island?
Most likely request an audience with the Shadow. And hope it was in an accepting mood.

Rae was indeed shocked, and upset, and before more than a moment had passed she was screaming at the top of her lungs for John to put her down, preferably on the ground!
Before she had been calm, if slightly ticked off at the puzzle that was her blank memory, but now she had a frantic feeling growing deep inside her. Her mind was telling her that people could not fly, not without machines! The arm that held her was a machine, but she didn't think it wa giving them the ability to fly!

Grace was annoyed, and slightly worried about the flying thing, but she did not panic as the girl had, instead she simply reached over and tapped the screaming Rae on the forehead, right above the strange jewel the girl wore. " Sleep..." " Sorry Sir, the girl was getting a little shrill for such close quarters..." sweatdrop Grace explained as Rae suddenly stopped screaming and slumped in his arm.

Donner was about to tell her to hush before Grace did it for him, albeit a little differently. "Thank you Grace..." He murmured, adjusting his grip on the girl now she had gone limp. "...Are you able to wake her up again at short notice? I don't think the Shadow will like it if i present it with an unconscious girl out of the blue..."
Well, everything he was doing was rather strange at the moment. But unconscious might be a step too far.

"I can, although I do not have a spell to keep her from returning to the hysterics once she is alert once more." sweatdrop Grace was trying her hardest not to cling to him, she was an elf, a creature of the earth and flying was officially going on her list of things that she hated when this was all over xp
"The Shadow.. you do not happen to mean Mr Maximos, do you?!" That would be a nice surprise, although alarm bells were going off in the back of her head at the fact that 'Andi had insisted that she meet the shadow in Barton and now she was tagging long with Tomorrow to meet him again.

The giant Aesir nodded. He should have thought things through a bit clearly before wisking the girl away. He'd been under pressure and scrutiny at the Stadium, and was still feeling a bit confused about what he was actually doing at this current moment in time... Was he trying to regain his friend for his own purposes, or for hers? Even if he got Honoraven back - this was considering the Shadow even knew a way to bring her memory back - what then? He'd wished to seek her out because she was the Raven of Memory, and Andi had pointed him in the right direction... ...But there was something more happening. No. Something that would happen. Something suddenly revealed itself in his mind, like a curtain drawn away, unveiling a truth that had been locked in his mind. "War..." He whispered, not knowing that he'd said it. Grace "The Shadow.. you do not happen to mean Mr Maximos, do you?!" He blinked as he was suddenly thrust back into reality, Grace's own words drowning out his one whisper. "...Yes. It is wise. If It cant help, then perhaps It can point me in the right direction...if it's being cordial, that is...the last time i tried to approach the island, The Shadow had rendered it impregnable by me. Otherwise i would've blown straight onto it."He locked his eyes with Grace. "Perhaps i should send you in my stead...I'd like to think Walter would give you the courtesy of listening before kicking you off the island..."

"Well, I would hope so... I found Mr. Maximos to be a very polite being when we met.. and that was under the worst of situations!" Grace wondered about how he had whispered war to himself... there was something about him and the girl that had the feel of 'Andis' meddling to them, but she was too polite to outright ask what was going on.
Grace decided to have a screaming fit of her own, at 'Andi, when next she saw the blond woman. "But how would I get over there? I assure you that I do not have the ability to fly or float or hover in any way shape or form!!" xp

"You'll be fine." Donner said quietly, as he opened his arm, allowing Grace to slip free.
For a split second Grace would feel the wind rushing through her hair - before her feet found solid ground. She'd been in free-fall for at least .25 of a second - then suddenly she was on the island.
She was in the middle of the Garden, tulips bobbing around her in the wind. Beside her, laid out comfortable admits a bed of colorful annuals, was Rae, sound asleep still. The gentle breeze died down slowly, only to pick up once more, creating a wave-patten amongst the flowers.
It was up to Grace now.

Grace looked for a moment as if she was about to have a fit... dropping her like that stare
She took several deep breaths to calm herself and reached over to check that Rae was still deeply asleep. Once she was certain that the girl would not start screaming again she stood and looked around. "Mr. Maximos?"

Grace's flight would be anything but difficult, abrupt or rough. It would be as if the winds themselves embraced her and carried her gently to the surface of the island. Maximos knew Grace and Ver, and Hono, they shared wonderful experiences. They were friends. And friends should be treated like proper guests, and they would be.
Tomorrow, Donner, or what ever title Thor put on the same war machine, would be left outside. As expected. Perhaps the other guests could vouch for his "safety".
There would be silence, and a warm gentle breeze for a minute or two before a rattling echoed from the wooden door of the windmill, and out came Walter. The stately butler looked to be in his mid 60's, his white hair tied back in a small ponytail, a monocle in his right eye, a black vest, pants, shoes, a white dress and simple white gloves. His every step was the epitome of glass and formality. And with the brightest smile on his face, he approached the guests.
Madam Grace, Madam Verandi, and company...
Of course referencing Rae.
...Master Maximos apologizes that he's currently directly in the middle of a magical ritual, as soon as he's finished he'll meet you each in person. In the meantime, is there anything I can do for you?
His voice was calm, gentle and warm, and as a proper butler...only ever an octave above a whisper.

Grace managed to resist the urge to look around for 'Andi as the elderly man mentioned her, and by full name at that.
"We will be fine until Mr. Maximos is ready to see us. The garden is quite a nice place to wait!" Grace smiled politely and mentally cursed the fact that she had no real idea why Mr. Tomorrow wanted Mr. Maximos to see the girl.
Rae was still apparently fast asleep, so there was little chance of another temper tantrum too soon.

"How are the tulips?"
A voice called from high above, almost swallowed by the wind itself.

"They look nice to me... what am I supposed to be asking for while I am down here?" sweatdrop Grace was glad her was still up there, and apperently paying attention
