 " Yes" Drake said as they proceeded inside. There were students and vampires alike all over the room. It was dimly lit, and there was a musk like blood, cologne, and booze that flooded the air. He grasped her hand, and started pulling Esperanza toward the dance floor.

Drake sighed as he heard her say that " We can go if that's what you want..." he said placing his left hand in her right one, and rested his right hand on her waist. He didn't move though, he just moved his hand closer to her ear and whispered " Though I really wish you don't..."

Your Uncle Grandpa He began dancing with her, moving to the beat. Drake hadn't a good feeling about the ball now... He looked around him, the entire dancefloor was littered with vampires. It was odd though, in the area of the dancefloor where the majority of the people were at, it looked as if they were being coralled there by the vampires.

She pressed closer to him and stood up on the tips of her toes. "I don't have a good feeling about this...but whatever happens, I can protect us." She pulled back and looked into his eyes so that he knew she was telling the truth.
