  ╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗Alexander prepared to say more on how he should have done more to ensure her safety, to apologize, but she was worn out so he simply sighed. "Yes, you're right." He said simply, taking her to the back of the shop, though he turned the opposite way from the greenhouse. He'd left the door to his bedroom open when he rushed out, so he didn't have to put her down to open it. His room wasn't extremely large, but it was homey. Aside from the bookshelf, were the oldest books were stacked, there were towers of books at the bottom of the bed. Random paintings were on the walls that didn't really match but seemed to have a strange flow. On shelves sat odd knick-knacks and things from nature, one a rather old-looking stuffed toy squirrel. He dropped Danny's blanket, which was covered with dirt, off of her before laying her in the bed and covering her with the blankets he'd thrown off before. He sat on the edge of the bed then and reached to brush her hair out of her eyes. "Are you alright?" He asked, looking at her softly. As she was set down, she released her hold on his neck and let herself lay down and relax in his bed. She felt the pillow under her head and looked up at Alexander as he pulled the covers over her. She nodded twice in response to his questions, and let her eyes close at his touch. After a moment of silence, she finally said, "Thank you." He stood then and went to his bookshelf to grab a particularly old book and came back to sit on the floor by the head of the bed. He reached up under the edge of the covers to hold her hand, smiling at her as she began to drift off and opening his book in his lap. Rasiel wasn't quite so unobtrusive and jumped onto the bed, curling up against her hip.╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

After a minute of dozing, she felt a smooth hand touch her own, and the corners of her mouth turned up as she figured out it was just Alexander. Her fingers intertwined with his as things got quiet, and soon enough she was asleep, Rasiel snuggled beside her.

When morning came, Danielle was rather groggy after coming to consciousness. At first her eyes twitched before she realized she was in someone else's bed. She was confused, but slowly memories of the night before drifted back, and she let her eyes open completely, scanning the room for the one she had fallen asleep with. ━━━━━━━━ × ━ × ━ × ━━━━━━━━ Who am I with ? -- Alexander, Rasiel

However, his book was open on the floor and his head had fallen over onto the bed, his loose, messy hair obscuring his face as he breathed softly. His fingers were still intertwined with hers, though loosely.╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

She lifted the covers beside her and felt their hands still laced together. After a moment, she sat up in her bed slowly and then carefully leaned down to place a small kiss on his cheek as she happily said, "Good morning sleepy head." ╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗Alexander's eyes opened slowly when she kissed him and he turned his head to look up at her, smiling sleepily. He lifted her hand and kissed it as she chuckled. "Maidin mhaith." He said, before looking momentarily confused. "No...good morning." He said, correcting himself as he ran his free hand through his hair to push it back out of his face. He sat for a moment with his eyes closed before stretching, his back cracking as he did so. "I should p-probably stop sleeping sitting u-up." He said, stifling a yawn. "It happens more often than I'd like to admit, really." ╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

"Huh?" she asked, but then decided it was probably just something in his other language he used. She watched him stretch and changed her position on the bed gently so she was laying on her stomach, her head near Alexander's on the side of the bed, her arms under her torso and her feet now in the air. She reached over and ran a few fingers through his hair herself, picking a small strand and twisting it between her fingers with a tiny smirk. "Then next time, you get the bed. ╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗When Danny mentioned sharing the bed with a wink, a blush stole across Alexander's cheek as a rather...intimate memory flashed through his mind, though it hadn't been a bed... He stood up rather spryly then, running a hand through his hair bashfully. "So, ah, breakfast!" he said rather chipperly. "Would you like some waffles, or perhaps pancakes...or we could go out somewhere...?" he said, twisting his hair as his blush remained.╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

Finally she laughed, sitting up now. "Breakfast, huh?" she said aloud, watching his cheeks stay red. Slowly she stepped off the bed, walking over to him, not stopping until their chests almost touched. Her eyes narrowed in on his cheeks and nervous face as she crossed her arms over her torso. After a moment she softened, and almost quite literally melted at his touch. Their lips molded together and that same familiar feeling tingled through her lips. She continued the kiss, pushing into him for a minute, enjoying what was happening before realizing that she had just let him have the upper hand. She couldn't let him win this game, could she? Certainly not. Eventually she broke the kiss off with a giggle, although her face stayed less than an inch away from his, her lips almost still touching his, though far away enough that she could talk. "So that's how you're playing? Fine," she whispered with a grin, trying to break from his embrace, but with a small amount of shock, she found it extremely difficult. Thinking quickly, her eyes sparkling with mischief, she moved her mouth away from his lips and down to his neck, where she placed a small gentle kiss. However, when she reached his collarbone, he shook his head "Unfair, unfair!" He exclaimed, moving to tickle her sides quickly before she went too far and he found it hard to control himself.╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝
