*She looked at Mercy for a moment.* You know, you're right. *She concentrated for a moment then straightened her dress and looked up composed.* I'll start with something simple. Do you really think I could bartend?
((No, but I really do want to. I mean, I'm not looking to hallucinate, but I need to understand what the big deal is!!! Also, I'm a believer in trying new things.))

*Mercy shrugged and smiled sleepily.* "Why not. . . knock yourself out I guess." *Her words were non chalant and un caring as she almost started to drift asleep, it was quite obvious she trusted Jinx enough to let down her gaurd slightly and was content.*

*She shrugged, deciding to let Mercy rest, and reached into the cooler for a packet of blood. She chose B neg. and poured it into the glass instead of the humans normal tomato juice. She checked back to the recipe before she added 1 1/2 ounce of vodka, 2 tsps of lemon juice and some tabasco and worcestershire. She pulled out a funky stirrer and mixed up the contents.* Taa-daa!!! I don't have any garnish for it, but it should still taste ok. Lady, would you like to try it?

((I've had it, its harsh, really harsh. You can actually get it in the US now, I can't wait to get me some they have some at the liquore store like half hour from where I live. Domi's right you won't like it if you don't like the taste of licorice, I'm not a big fan of licorice but I can stand it. Oh and Alice if I remember right you would be fine to drink it, if I remember right it doesn't actually contain licorice, it just tastes like it.))

((It was pretty gnarly. . . . I'm gonna have to go check it out. . . . is it the same though?!?!?! I don't know if it's always the green foamy or if that was just a display but it was actually a type of burnign codl if that makes sence *shrugs*))

((As far as I know what you get in the US is the same as anywhere else seeing as it is imported from Europe the one I seen was called Lucid and is imported from France(first time in 95 years its been allowed in the US) And yes it is supposed to be "foamy" aka cloudy(its certain ingrediants that cause that), its the combination of the water(if my memory serves right) that is added. Absinthe is normally served with the absinthe in the glass the sugar cube is placed on the absinthe spoon and water is poured over it into the absinthe in normally a 3:1 or 5:1 ratio.(I know way too much on this subject ^^) But it is very harsh for most people. And Alice you may want to read the labels and read up on stuff because it does contain an herb called star anise which helps give it the licorice taste. I've read up on this alot))

((Yeah...*rubs back of head*I tend to read...alot on things I find interesting. My family is German too so I visited German when I was ten and see it in a few of the places we went to and I asked my Grandma about it. It went down hill from there. Anouther thing Absinthe technocly has been found that it is not and hallucinogenic, what science has found that it doesn't cause hallucinations, what most likely caused those was the cheaper verisons in the 19 century because of the poisonous chemicals(kinda ironic sence Absinthe is technocly made from a poison) they used in the absinthe to give it a brighter color. And I don't recommend drinking "homemade" absinthe because it can be extreamly toxic, absinthe that is made by a company is strictly regulated, to check that the contense is not poisonous. Oh and I was just checking Wikipedia(not the best source but it works for right now) and the first Absinthe that were imported into the US was in March of 07 and it was the brands Lucid(The one I can get in my area) and Kubler(little dots over the u). <---knows way too much on absinthe))
