Chris gently gave her hand a squeeze. "It's alright, you're doing great Kirie!" he said soothinly to her. Watching as the doctor scanned her womb they were suprised at what he said next.

"It's Triplets! Congraduations!!" the doctor said with a smile to them both. Wiping off the jell he went to go fill out some papers for them and again they were alone. Her shirt now on her belly Chris blushed gently touching it.

"Wow..triplets. We figured it was going to be a big number but...wow." noticing his hand was rubbing her belly a litlte he removed it. "S-Sorry Kirie." he said looking away blushing some, his hand was still holding onto hers.

(I hope triplets is alright, unless you want to add any more or anything. ^^; I just sort of picked a number. :p)

When she hugged him Chris wrapped his arms around hers and smiled. "Oh you're welcome. What are friends for huh? Besides I like being with you Kirie." he said blushing a little the babies were kicking at him.

A feeling of dissapointment washed over him when she let him go. As he followed them both across the hall he wa surprised to hear the doctor maybe even mention more than three. At first he got really sad when they told her to stay. If she did stay he might have not been able to ever seen her again or much.

Then when he told Kirie that he could stay here with her if he wanted, he blushed. "Well I wouldn't mind. It's Kirie's decision though, I'd never force her to have me around." he said not relizing he was holding her hand again.

Chris nodded at the doctors instructions. Folllowing the waddling Kirie, his hands in his pockets, Chris smiled happily. "I know it's crazy. Don't worry you'll be a good mother Kirie." he said as they entered the elevator. Leaning up against the opposite wall he looked at her when she spoke again.

"Yeah that surprised me too. It's amazing how much you've grown, you were smaller when you were into a week of the pregnancy. It's been...what..about a month?" he replied as they stepped out of the elevator and into the room.

It looked nice, but there was only one bed, blusihng he relized it was a king size and that would possibly mean they would be sleeping together. Chris got really nervous then gave her a surprised look when she said he didn't have to stay if he didn't want to. As he was about to reply he rushed to her side rubbing her belly and propping her up a little.

"What is it Kirie?" he asked with concern moving his hand up and down her belly gently. "I'll stay with you..I don't mind I l-" he caught himself then coughed a little. "I like hanging out with you. I made a promise to help you during the whole pregnancy right? You know how I don't go back on my word Kirie." He said soothinly to her.

"Oh alright." he smiled watching her vanish into the bathroom. Letting out a sigh of relief he began to unpack his things when he noticed her come out of the bathroom wearing a robe. "All right have fun." he smiled watching her leave.

"Well now what to do...I'm kind of hungry..." unpacking a recipe book he had brought with him Chris began to flip through it to see what he could make for him, and Kirie figureing she'd be hungry when she'd return. He would have to do a little shopping, but he had money for that. After a while Chris layed upon the bed slowly falling asleep. He was a bit tired after all.

After a while he awoke. What time was it? The cook book in his lap he must have dozed off reading it. Wondering if she had returned Chris got up and walked out of the bedroom. Yawing a little he looked at the clock on the wall. It had gotten late. Was she back? What if she fell asleep in the hot tub? There was only one way to find out if she had returned or not.

"Kirie..are you back?" he called out feeling a little silly by doing so.

Chris stared in shock at her very very large and exposed belly. "I-I see.." he said blushing somewhat. "How do you feel about that?" he asked following her into the bedroom again. Sitting next to her he placed a hand upon her belly.

"You really are beautiful you know? Even with this large pregnant belly...it makes you look so cute and motherly." he said then blushed deeply relizing he said that. He blinked his throat suddenly feeling dry, removing his hand he looked down shyly. He had feelings for her, but he wasn't sure if Kirie wanted to date again. He had watched her last boyfriend break her heart some. Yet he couldn't help himself.

Chris had been in love with her, not because of the pregnancy or her large belly, because they got along and because she was so very kind and sweet.

"Well I'm glad I could share this with you.." he blushed looking into her eyes. "I should have said this sooner, but I didn't know how well you'd take it..Kirie I love you. I always have, even when your boyfriend broke up with you. I..I wish it could have been my child inside you. I was just too afraid...because I figured you didn't like me that much." he said looking into her eyes.

Kissing her cheek he pulled her into a gentle side hug, his hand gently rubbing her belly feeling the kicks. "I...I want to be the one to help you take care of them..or at least make this pregnancy easier for you." he cooed not sure of what she would think, but he didn't care anymore.

"I-I'm sorry..." Standing up he left the room and sat on the couch. Feeling like an idiot maybe that wasn't such a good thing to say. He had shut the door to the bedroom so she could be all alone. He then thought of all the years they grew up together, all the time they spent together, all the hours and days he spent with her and helped her out while she was starting her pregnancy.

His heart broke a little, feeling a bit stupid he sat there crying a little. Maybe being here wasn't a good idea..but yet he still wanted to be there for her.
