Gonna be brutally honest. That is sad. I mean, in a bloodline based around fre manipulation of metals, such that you can move objects around, often without even having to use chakra if I remember right, plus many powerful jutsu, you only took it for the rather meta ability to know where people are if they have metal on them. Really. Quite sad. It's an amazing bloodline, even without that power.

And, I don't know. Probably not. It might get put back in as a jutsu, so that it can still be done but has a price, but there won't be a free equivalent anymore.

You do realize that if I ever wanted to "Gank you", I would just strip myself of metal and use wooden weapons or a blowgun, right? Or with David, just, well, go as normal, since he doesn't have any metal anymore anyways. Or with Yasashii, who has never carried metal. I mean, yeah, it works with 90% of ninja, but not all.

Please explain your distaste of that system. It may just be a misunderstanding which has already come up from two others, in which case I want to know, because if it comes from three, I know I need to make some edits to the wording.

Edit: BB guns and Pellet guns are basically the same thing. They just fire a different shaped pellet. The power is entirely determined by what model you get.

Right, that's the same mistake the other two made. And, of course, as a mistake, it's wrong. DE and DD are actually impossible to attain. The increment ranks only start being used after +2 ranks. So +2 to D places you at B as usual, and +3 puts you at BE. The system is set up to allow people to stack bonuses, but to avoid getting too overpowered it puts limits on how effective that stacking is after a certain point.

considering the fact that most nin dont use weapons as their focus, and would usually open with a ninjutsu atck rather than kunai/shuriken/sword I dont think the ability to sense metal would be nearly as effective as you are saying. Nagisa, if she attacked (which frankly she has barely even met Laxus much less developed a reason to kill him) she would just use genjutsu or swarm him with bugs. Masaki (who might actually get along with Laxus) would use a combination of mokuton and swinging his wooden tonfa (although they do have metal in them).

As a side note even the "Raikage" Natsumi Rei wouldnt think of killing Laxus (unless he expressed his dream of taking over Kumo). She just doesnt expect him to become a proper shinobi.

The only real problem with free metal sensing, is it basically renders the entire stealth stat useless (except in the rare case that someone wears zero metal). I have no problem with being able to sense attacks with metal weapons, its powerful but not actually that powerful. Sadly it wouldnt make sense to allow one and not the other.

I made the same misunderstanding regarding rank differences, and embarassed myself in argument with Hinote. That only applies for rank boosts larger than +2. so if you are a Genin and get +3 rank boost (somehow) it only adds up to BE rather than A rank. Its a replacement for the more strict rule of "no boost stacking higher than +2"

I can if you'd like, though that'd lead full circle back to having me at the wrong end of the order for at least a round, not to mention having to wait an undefined length of time since I'm not going to post now, and probably won't be able to until somewhat late tonight.

I'm up stupidly early, cause my dad scheduled concrete on a job an hour away from us for friggin eight in the morning. Which normally isn't that bad, but as I said, an hour away. That's an hour to wake up, do whatever, and leave, and an hour to get there. Then I think he plans on sitting on the job and waiting for the concrete to set, cause he wants to strip it on the same day.

All in all, I'm going in expecting a long, probably brutal day, and hoping to be pleasantly shocked.

And yeah, I've had that sitting in the dev thread for months, so I finally just polished it up a little bit and put it up just now. I'm gonna see if I can work out some universal demon jutsu on my downtime today, definitely gonna do up the Meditation so you can pick it up.

Bijuudama [Bijuu Ball]

Description: There is a technique known to all nine of the bijuu. Said technique is capable of leveling mountains in a single shot, cutting vast swathes through forests, and destroying entire villages. This is not that technique.

The true Bijuudama is not something any human can achieve. A lesser version however, is possible for those shinobi who have achieved full control of their demon's power.

The Bijuudama is a massively condensed ball of demonic chakra, gathered, compacted into the smallest possible size, and fired at great speed at a target. Upon impact with it's target, the Bijuudama loses it's surface tension, and rapidly expands outwards, in a shockwave easily equatable to an explosion, though it is pure force.

The Bijuudama takes two full posts to charge, and is a six inch ball when fully condensed. The ball can be formed either in the hand, or in front of the mouth, according to user preference. When fired, the ball travels at S ranked speed, and expands with equal force, with a final radius of twenty feet.

He says something is OP and should never exist, I pretty much instantly start thinking of how to force it to work. It just happens, not even something I intentionally do.
(This jutsu doesn't officially exist yet. I know it's rather pointless to mention that considering the requirements and the fact I'm the only currently active Bijuu host, but, felt I should say it.)

Also, Raijuu isn't a tailed beast, so technically there is no tailed beast Sora. just saying.
