A decision? Tess was being given a decision to make? An important, possibly un-life changing decision that would undoubtedly affect not only her but her friend?! (Tess' melodrama was acting up again.) Alright so maybe she was exaggerating because she was thoroughly confused. Why would Lizzy want to steal Mac from her when it was so obvious the spider demoness was enjoying her own date? And why was Mac so upset? Did... did he secretly want to be Lizzy's date instead of Tess? Was, was this like one of those "I like your friend but I'm asking you for information about her in case she turns me down?" scenarios she'd seen on all those skelenovellas she and her mother watched? She did not know what to make of this. And it was obvious by the dismayed, panicked expression on her face that she really did not know what to say or do.
"U-uh... I..." she swallowed the lump that had suddenly formed in her throat. "I guess? B-but not for too long!" she insisted, looking at Mac with a warning that she was going to be watching. Sure she may like the boil but Lizzy was her best friend. Chicks before di-you know what, Tess had gone there already during the hip-thrusting. Time to take her brain out of the gutter.

The madness on the dance floor fading, the ghost boil gave his friend a parting knuckle bump as he wandered off to take a break. He didn't blame him, had he the need the breath he'd have likely been out of breath as well. Seiji remained relatively unfazed by the physical exertion though, save for the hair that was now falling in his eyes and along his chin. That was mildly annoying, but temporarily dealt with by a hand smoothing back through the lengths of dark hair. Settling back into familiar lines. Not the style he'd come with, but the one he'd worn since his arrival to the school. Sans the sides, of course. It did remind him though that he had a thief to find and punish. Lips setting in a tight smile, he turned to scan the room, spotting his ghoul... In the arms of another boil. Huh. The momentary flare of jealously the sight brought upon him almost distracted from the rational bit of his brain reminding him that Junko had mentioned Nuk was like a brother to her. It also tried to call him a hypocrite. He pointedly ignored that last comment and made his way across the floor towards his the trio. "Hey Ash, Nuk." He offered a wave to the both of them before dropping his gaze to the back of Junko's head. "J, what's wrong?" For clearly something had to be for her to be clinging like that. He hadn't noticed it from across the room, but he certainly did now. Dark eyes jumped up to the other two, looking for some clue to the futakuchi-onna's behavior.

Aksaja jerked when Yaya quite suddenly snatched the glowing bug out from under his hand. "What?" he blurted, frowning at the ghoul. "Why not, it's just a bug." Sure, a weird glowing one but . . . "Is it poisonous or something?" Glancing to Sharra with a bit of 'help here?' look, the lightning boil watched as Yaya headed for the door. What . . . was the big deal?
Then an icy-cold hand gripped the back of his neck, and a voice just as cold (and rather deadly, some part of his brain noted) was speaking in his ear. Jack! By the time Aksaja gathered enough wits to try and jerk away from the touch, there were MORE of the damn glowing bugs crawling all over him. With a yelp, the dragon jumped and slapped ineffectually at a few of them - though he missed each time. Then they were gone.
And only after did the sense of the words Cricket had spoken get through to him. "Uhm . . . that's bad, I'm guessing," he murmured, glancing back and forth between Yaya and Sharra. If the stupid glowing bugs belonged to Cricket or whatever . . . dammit.

I apologize. Riley patted Calder on the shoulder gently. I am sure that whatever movements you performed were a sight to see. If I had the sight to see them, I would have been impressed.
She heard Jericho's voice, and her face lit up in lieu of a smile. I am! This prom is turning out quite well, and I don't even mind that I can't see any of it. Are you enjoying yourself tonight?
She turned her head, trying to decipher whether the boils were still thrusting, and did a few weak thrusting movements just in case.

Claire giggled and grabbed another roll from his plate, putting her tongue out before she consumed it. " I LOVE THIS SONG!" she yelled above the music as she danced. The meat that she had taken a few seconds ago was completely gone and for some reason her gloves weren't dirty at all. magic

And then Junko. Aislin was very nice to the other ghoul. She always made an attempt to talk with her. She didn't every say anything. She even refrained from doing anything that might upset Junko. Of course it was all for the sake of Seiji, which only made it all the more frustrating that Junko was now throwing herself all over THIS boil as well. Was he also off limits? Aislin gave Nuk's hand a squeeze before she stepped away and back over to the booth. She faded out the Dance Battle music until it was a quiet sound. "As much as I hate to see this dance end it's about time for something new, hm? Here's a song for all the animals out there. Oh, you Monsters, you! Here's Hungry Like the Wolf."She noticed as Seiji came closer, happy to see her friend. Maybe he could rip the dark-haired ghoul from Nuk. His concerned look was only met with a shrug, however. She had no clue why Junko was all over him.

A somewhat goofy smile had crept along Mitsu's face as she continued to try this form of 'dancing.' It was something they really hadn't gone over in the dancing lessons. At least there wasn't a great risk to falling, not the way she was just awkwardly moving her hips back and forth.
"Yes!" Mitsu sounded rather enthusiastic looking over at the reaper again. The smile still in place it was easy to see her eyes softening spotting his expression. He really didn't want to be doing this but he had come out here to be with her. The thought made Mitsu's heart beat a little faster a light blush crossing her cheeks.
Stopping with the silly dance Mitsu hesitantly reached for Shun's arm. "You really can move, can't you?" There was that small giggle again her smile never faltering. "Thank you for sharing a dance with me."

Preaching to the choir, but she still needed to warn him that it was bad to be hip thrustin' all over the place.
But the snacks were very appealing, Tomoko picking up one of the cookies that the ghost boil pointed to and sniffing it before taking a bite. Oh, that was really sweet tasting. That was one of those things her mother had warned her against. Too much sugar was bad, but she had to figure out how to balance eating it and appearing to be eating it.
....
She still wasn't sure what any of it meant. Mother was a confusing person.
Tomoko couldn't help but take another sweet off of the table, her tails flicking behind the pair, making a point to stay off the ground to keep from being stepped on. That would have been very painful.
"Junko-chan and I spent a long time making all of these things." Tomoko beamed, looking to Jove. "Do you like cookies a lot, Jove-kun?"

Merel started to tug on Joachim's hair which caused him a slight annoyance, for once he had actually managed to get his hair up and it not decide to frizz all over the place. Now here she was off making a huge mess of it by pulling it all out, though the reaper had no idea what she wanted. It wasn't like he was going to ask his date to dance, nooo that was a bad idea he couldn't dance and he couldn't really tell if she was happy or not so far other than him holding her hand. Sweets! Maybe that would get Merel to stop and keep her occupied for a little while and well get them from standing there in an awkward manner.
"Err....... would you like something to eat maybe?" He asked looking at Taryn unsure really what she wanted to do.

"How about this one?" Roch asked as the music changed and he finished off his plate, wiping his mouth off on the back of his forearm and dropping the empty plate on the table nearest the dance floor before coming back. "And I wanted that roll, you brat," he added with a disgruntled expression that disappeared into a grin. He figured the stuff Demi had talked about could wait for now.

"Thank you," She almost seemed relieved as she paused, wrapping her arms around Tess' shoulder and pulling her into a hug - a quick one, but a hug nonetheless. Raising her lips to Tess' ear, she smiled, holding her friend close as she lowered her voice, voice soft, "I'll fill you in later..." She released her from the hug, managed another small, sheepish smile and a hand squeeze, before she turned to look at Mac.
She physically winced at the expression on his face before frowning, looking very much like a kicked puppy at this stage as she took his hand/wrist and tugged him away, to a more... Well, private area. The dance floor, games area and tables were too crowded and noisy. They needed to talk. No more running away for her.
"Let's go out... For a little while," She wasn't exactly giving him a say in the matter as she pulled him towards the double doors of the auditorium, her grip firm even if the 'kicked puppy' look remained on her face.

Did Jericho hear Riley correctly? It actually seemed like the two were being relatively chummy right now. She was even patting the kelpie. What in the name of jack was going on?
Deciding not to question this, he just smiled at his friend and nodded.
"I've been having a blast," he said, "really sorry about the blacklights though.. I didn't think they would have blinded you like this. I wonder if some sunglasses will help at all..."
---
Like some sort of saving grace, the song had changed. Letting out a breath, Shun stopped as she touched his arm, looking over at the girl. Mitsu looked rather happy and she was giggling too. Though, he wasn't really sure if this could really be considered dancing with her. In his mind, he wasn't really.
"I.. suppose I can," he said with a slightly softened expression, "But... I'm glad you were having fun."
Nodding, he tentatively patted her hand lightly then looked towards the dance floor. At least people had dispersed a bit.

Snickering a little, she smoothed out her dress, pressing her back to the chair. "It looked like you were having fun." Nodding at his question, her gaze shifted, landing on him. "I am! There's so much going on, its overwhelming--in a good way. But.. I think I'll hold back from any..thrusting. At least for now anyways." For now, she would sit back and watch the others.
"Hm?" Blinking at the boil, "Oh--" she let out a small laugh. "No. Chewing gum is more of a habit for me. I don't have an appetite, so I didn't see the point of bringing some. Why? Were you wanting some?" She asked, unsure if his hunger had kicked in from all the dancing. Not that gum was filling.. Her suspicions only grew more when he question Damien on the food. "You should go try some, Bul." She suggested. "If your hungry that is."

Well, there it was, Tess' decision. His glare down at Lizzy was taken away with a blink, all of the intense emotions fleeing when he reopened them again a moment later when he was looking down at Tess instead. He caught the look she gave him and responded with a smile.
"It won't take long." He promised her, shooting another glare at Lizzy, who was in the process of hugging his date.Soon enough he returned to smiling lightly at Tess - though he still looked a little irritated. He didn't even care that the music had changed!
"I promise." He informed her softly, reached over to take her closest hand, bringing it again to his lips to kiss her knuckles. Was he doing that on purpose? Yes, yes he was. Mac looked mighty unimpressed as Lizzy took hold of him, following after her silently for now; after all, there were still people there, a lot of them.
Once they were outside and alone though, Mac took two quick steps forward and spun to face her. "What was---!" He stopped himself then, biting back everything he wanted to say to her; clearly she wanted to explain, and he was going to try and not run his mouth just yet.

He nodded, a formal air about him now that a woman was on his arm and lead Ys towards the floor, casting a forlorn glance at his food. Her comment drew his attention and he peered at her a moment then nodded with a laugh, "I suppose we are... I don't mind." Dekana gave a shrug and paused on the edge of the dance floor, collecting himself for a moment before he swallowed and stepped out onto the dance floor.
His arm shifted so that he was holding her hand and walked backward, drawing her out onto the floor, tail curling around her as his other hand found her hip. It wasn't a particularly slow song but it was bouncy and fun, and he lead her around, more used to partnered dancers then in singleton bump and grind. As they stepped and moved, he began to relax some - his grip on her hands loosening. His tail trailed around, whirling with them, creating long, elegant lines out of their motions.
